Hack, Sarashito and Quion have arranged a special arena for those Hunted, especially by criminal organizations, and Hack in particular to fight all of the people who want to kill them in an arena setting on underground television networks.

The arena's location is somewhere in Siberia. Ironically, despite new development, extraterrestrial immigration, and resources, the UEG has encouraged a low-population growth policy, and so there has been a diaspora of Earth citizens to all sorts of other planets. Though those living in far-off places on Earth are as connected to modern advancements and the rest of civilization as anyone else, this has meant that a lot of the world is empty and can be used for hidden activities. The Old Guard does what they can given their self-imposed and legal limits, but that's a footnote because in this case CH is behind the change and the OG are keeping whatever objections they may have to themselves. How does Hack arrive? With teammates in a spaceship, what?

yeah the space ship idea sounds right

The CH-certified ship, carrying Handyman, Rayzen, Quion, Sarashito Viktor, and Hack (as well as possibly Mosho, Crawdaddy, and others), lands in the frigid plains of Siberia, roughly a mile away from what looks like a large building of some sort, maybe an old barn or silo. All are bundled up to protect against satellite imagery and for comfort.

"well i'm assuming that building is where this match is going to take place" hack says to noone in particular "doubt he could have gotten a more private area"

Handyman says, "The center of a black hole."
Dr. Blammo says, "The core of a star."
Viktor says, "A private spaceship travell..."
Sarashito says, "That's enough of that."
The group heads over to the building. There are doors, large wooden shutters above, and windows to the sides.

Hack sees, cleverly cloaked, a number of hovercars, bikes, spaceships, land vehicles, and so on, in about a two mile radius around them.

Sarashito says, "If anything goes wrong, cross your fingers to us." The door opens. Vasili, similarly bundled, says, "Ah, my favorite star! I wonder if you can guess who is facing you today."

Vasili smiles like the cat who ate the canary. "Always so confident! It is what the spectators are paying for. Come." The barn is very large, and in the center is a massive metal square. Vasili and his men stand on the square.

The metal square isn't the arena. Everyone else of the team gets on the square and Vasili motions with his finger for Hack to come.

alright I get on the square

The square begins to lower to the ground. Occasional lights and yellow bars are all that can be seen in normal light ranges. Hack gauges that the elevator takes them one hundred and two feet below the surface. A door shuts ominously above them. As their destination becomes clear and the light pours in, a cacophany of sound can be heard. There is a veritable who's who of the criminal underground in seats all around this colossal arena. In the center is a sand pit, perfect for slowing everyone down. There are two holding rooms, one in plain sight and transparent, one hidden. It is obvious which one they belong in.

"Oh, I am sure it will be. And when you inevitably fall, my ratings will skyrocket and I will get no small bonus." Sarashito telepathically says, "These guys are going to play dirty. I wouldn't trust anything that's happening here. Be very careful."
Vasili says, "You will need to head into your transparent waiting area. It is comfortably upholstered, of course."
Handyman telepathically communicates, "I will make sure that they can't form a barrier in that place and keep us locked in. We need an escape route."

hack adds telepathically "good thinking, sarashito if the need arises, i want you to remember nothing but the pain of the "alteration" process, focus on it, then unleash it, understand"

"In your mind? All right, I can do that." Everyone settles into the seats provided. They truly are luxurious: a mahogany couch upholstered with corduoroy, two silk chairs, monitors to watch the fight from every direction...
Vasili steps on a hover platform and slides into the center of the room. He says, "Excuse me, I do have an announcement. How lucky we are, for adversaries to fight for all of our entertainment, for that which is normally conducted in back alleys and through snipers to be done in an arena! And our first fight: A Mr. Vincent Hack, versus a [the name is suddenly blocked inside the room they are in.] Mr. Hack! Please, come out!"

A great white barrier focuses around them. It crystallizes, forming a practically invulnerable stasis field. This is a cage match, make no question. Hack hears a rushing sound, and he begins to cough. And tear up. He recognizes this. It is an invisible, colorless, odorless gas that was used by his handlers to control him. Memories of trauma and torture return, and they don't enrage him, they make him scared and meek again. His body weakens. Death and Destruction become heavy. Shi and Ogee don't seem to notice, and he doesn't know he's going to communicate.
OOG: What groups has Hack irritated?

every one but CH, DI's necromancer clan, and ogee's clients, although most particularly the minutemen

OOG: This is a good chance to explore Hack's history. Did he focus mostly on Earth groups? Did he have particular antipathy to, say, the Yakuza or the Triads or the Russians or the Sicilians? Did he hunt down the supernatural or the natural? The political, the economic (i.e. corporations), etc.? Did he get involved in liberation groups, or try to stop civil wars? Etc.

yes the focus was mostly on earth, he harboprs a particular hatred tward the minutemen and all compaines he believes to have funded thier reaserch, and now since he met sarashito, and the discoverey that there was more than one tortured, his hatred was pushed beyond what he could fathom, and he is ready to kill each and every living being in this stadium, save for those he came here with

OOG: So his focus would have been the direct participants in the torture, anyone complicit (such as Senators), corporations involved in any way, and more generally US contacts and affiliated organizations and criminal empires. Where would he have squeezed in non-US-affiliated criminal organizations? Give me a % breakdown of Hack's effort in the last 3 years, I'd say.
