The police come closer, and are joined by helicopters. Anduris can hear drilling into the ice, probably from artillery.
You know that you get new types of abilities with the scythe, right?

OOG: Actually, Hack can't, only Anduris can. And Taklinn can respond psychically, considering that he has at least one 6 CP psychic class which would automatically get him telepathy; anyways, he can respond with a mystic telepathy.
As far as new types of abilities go: Attacks with instant death chances, attacks that annihilate the undead or immortals or those who evade death, aging attacks, inducing cancer or disease...

hmm cancer eh, whaqt about say, multiple sclorosis, or one of the nastier ones, say advanced syphalus, or perhaps even, cerebal palsy

Sure, some of those in more lethal incarnations, also affecting the Corpse Spirits. What are you going to do in this particular case?

palsy the crap out of everything here

Palsy may not work on the robots, which are really his only remaining DIO. And Hack notices they seem to be on the fritz somewhat in the first place. He sees Crash Fox with a vicious smiling sneer on her face, and she is showing her bestial kitsune side.

oh oh Nanovirus which disease to replicate, crap, oh wait, MS

Death is somewhat less effective against robots, though the nice thing about death attacks is that they do incarnate in different ways against each target.

MS is multiple sclerosis, a nano virus version so they can't cop that "oh im a robot i'm immune" additude

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Oct 11, 2006 14:08:19 GMT -5
...You missed my point. I know what MS is. I'm saying that death-based attacks, i.e. your MS attack, are less effective against robots in general since they are a substantially different, non-death based life form. However, your particular death attacks do have the effect of altering somewhat to be able to target all foes, so the risk is that you may lose the oomph by making it AOE that you'd get if you just took Vander down.

But not of a starfish in most cases. Simplicity can actually make one less vulnerable. Anyways, so that's the strategy you'll go for?

Luckily, the speedy bladed robot is indeed effected with the MS, beginning to jitter uncontrollably and thus get into the way of everyone else. However, Vander himself seems... unfazed. His sadistic smile remains unaltered.
More Hack.

okay fine then, you ever read the Animorphs books, hopefull you have, basically there was something there called the Quantum virus, i want to hit vander with a transgressive version of that

I have read the Animorphs books, but I don't remember the quantum virus. Remind me.

it underminded the atoms of the recipient, causing an incredibly painful death as your atoms literally rip themselves apart

The risk here is that he may be immunized.

he he, not against this, that's why the one who ordered it's release was forever shamed, his family was to be forever shamed

Yes, against this. Old tech. Vander was part of the US black ops elite. Post the defeat of the Yeerk invasion, all the knowledge the Animorphs and some Andalite tech was traded back and forth. Frank Higgs had immunizations to virtually any virus, including quantum systems (rare vaccines that provide a genetic ability to keep molecular cohesion).

see you diddn't read much animrphs did you, would you trade info with your friend about your most humiliating secret, though he probably got it through more unscroupulus methods, ahh well then he may be immunized against normal infection, but lets try a hyper concentrated dose

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Oct 22, 2006 14:57:04 GMT -5
I read a ton of Animorphs. He might be vulnerable to a super-condensed dose, but his barrier seems to still be up; your attacks are somewhat effective against barriers (piercing through them). Go for it?

|
Post by Vincent Hack on Oct 24, 2006 23:11:23 GMT -5
pierce the barrier, and infect the cunt
|
|

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Oct 25, 2006 17:00:07 GMT -5
So you FIRST do a barrier piercing blow? What will you do to do that?

Post by Vincent Hack on Oct 25, 2006 18:47:37 GMT -5
well Shi is out or i'd have her assault, so i'll try something different with the scythe i will literally pierce the barrier

Laura is totally in. She has made some serious demonic and criminal enemies in the NYPD. Now she can settle the scores and beat the crap out of the Yakuza.

This isn't the Yakuza, and you need to wait for Hack to be done.
Coming up, doing your whole Whirlwind Strike schtick to pierce the poor man's shield?
