Tyrant's featureless face nods. His booming, vaguely Germanic voice continues. "My point is that you will be facing a coalition of enemies of excessive brutality, some of whom concur with her, some of whom are simply using this opportunity to attack you for their individual reasons, ranging from stealing your powers to taking your artifacts to building a reputation to settling their old grudges."
Thrash says, "So it seems you are all in agreement: For now, we're trying to stop her. I recommend you guys keep your eyes open: sometimes even terrorists have legitimate complaints. Now: Do you guys want to break off this vacation? If you want, we can handle this initially for you."

"only one question, what the hell is going on here" hack stands arms folded over his chest stance dominant and ready for battle.

"Whatever you and your teammates say, douche.", Badcat comments.
"Vince, you probably could benefit from pursuing the leads anyways.", Thrash says.
Quion summarizes, "So we have a genocidal maniac bitch who wants to replace our world." Tyrant says, "That's a bit of a condensation."

Tyrant says, "Hack, if you wish to go to engage her or her allies, there are undoubtedly many such leads. I would not be surprised, for example, if she had made at least temporary alliances of convenience with the Minutemen, and..."
Sarashito whispers, "Oh my. She made an alliance with FOX-2."
"Many forces who have nothing to gain from the universe being destroyed will cooperate with Itek for at least a little just to have a shot at destroying you. And you would be surprised at the type of people who want to see a new universe. However, I personally would not go on the offensive entirely. She will be expecting you to attack her and will have plans that make that a mistake: Perhaps you being too offensive will mean that you will fail to protect the Earth or Hael from some great assault. Alternatively, while she is fantastic at keeping secrets and playing disinformation, you may be able to pick up a bit of information through your traditional contacts."
Thrash says, "I want all of you to treat Tyrant as a new liaison to us at least as long as that remains obviously prudent. We all need you to accept outside assistance, and you do not get one from the first universe every day."

OOG: That will happen when you do it in the thread.
Tyrant says, "Do what you will, but you will not distract her. Lucifer once attempted to match her in a game of wits and manipulation. He lost. I only am able to see through her pretenses because I can test the reality behind it, and she has managed to control even the realities of things to be as she pleases. She is looking for the Caster Cannon: Find them, you'll find her."

"hmmm....okay i have to make sure, is she a telepath, and two would you call her strong willed" hack know that most that make contact with his distorted mind go irrecoverably and entirely insane, even those who do not, have no idea of what the fuck is going on in there, this does not extend to basic message sending telepathy, but damn his save versus illusions is obscene.

Thrash says, "From what we know of Mr. Excelsior, Itek will have prodigious and unique abilities. Normal telepathy, even by one of us, isn't too likely to work. She's managed to stay under our radar for a long time and if anything she's gone deeper."
Tyrant says, the mysterious nature of his slightly Germanic accent continuing to confuse (not to mention that, having no lips, he speaks with a simply booming sonic effect), "Itek is an idealogue par excellence. She is one of the people who will be confident of a conclusion despite all reason, all evidence to the contrary... She has manipulated and machinated for eons without stopping. She will not tire. Itek's powers are older, fouler and more developed than Mr. Excelsior's."

"hmm...that plan just got flushed down the shitter, it seems that her only weakness would be melee combat prowess being as manipulative as she is but how to close in......no way stealth would work, can't hold out much hope for a sniper either.....do we know anyone who can manipulate and control black holes, or an effect similar to a black hole, from long distance, say about 5 miles"

Tyrant shakes his head. "Even if your weapons can harm her substantially, she is very, very much older than you, fast, with abilities that are devastating in close range. A black hole would do nothing to her."

"I agree." Thrash says, taking on a leaderly tone. Helvena steps up as well. Helvena says, "We've found plenty of allies in the past: Lots of people we can call in favors from. Let's check up on them. The former Dark Tournament teams and the Stormguard would be great places to start." [Note: See the Allies thread.] Thrash says, "Keep in constant contact with us or other Fate's Guardians. Don't rush half-cocked into any situation." Tyrant nods. "She will throw you into battles you are not ready for."

Tyrant says, "You don't understand. She attracts not numbers of people. Most do not want to kill themselves or destroy all things that exist. She attracts the greatest in their fields. Scientists, mathematicians, artists, fighters and magicians swarm around her. The one woman we have encountered, Nirvana, was a match for Evan. And if she finds people like Lord Ashalak, even one of her... associates will be able to destroy you. Even I have torn apart hundreds like you, no offense meant, and I do not fight out of necessity."

Thrash nods. "You guys can take down people very much stronger than you imagine. The victory over Paradigm proves that. And just as there are ways for the one to defeat the many, the hummingbird to fight off the many eagles, so are there ways for the many to defeat the one, the ants swarming over the hummingbird and swallowing it."
Kumo smokes his cigar and says, "All right, briefing point #5: Don't fucking go out alone. At least a group of two if you wanna engage these fucks."

OOG: There are pre-made Crashing Heavens Squads. Alternately, you could make a set of archetypes you want for each squad (i.e. Healer, Tank, Summoner or Bait, Damage Dealer, etc.) and I'll provide people to match each. I'll also start working on, under the full CH list of physical descriptions, adding basic descriptions of people's powers (not secret but what is well known). Your teams will want Psi, Ki, Magic and Tech at the least.
Helvena nods. "Agreed. Hack! You have some affinity with Sarashito and Quion. Would you terribly mind working with Ash Jr. and Krane?", pointing to the male Ash and to the black-carapaced exoskeleton.

Helvena turns to Ash F. "I would like you not to accompany your brother, at least initially, Ms. Williams. I understand your motivations, but Itek will expect such a pairing."
Tyrant nods. "Do not behave normally. If the United Earth Government President could discover your quirks and patterns, surely Itek has detailed data. All strengths are weaknesses in another context, and though I imagine your coordination is a superb skill, it can also be used against you in... thirty-seven ways, thirty-eight if you..." He begins to think to himself, a bit of a mad scientist coming out.
