Well, I COULD flip out and just start punchin. But.... I need to get a feel for this rock first. Tachi begins with a front kick to feel out the cracks. He then swiftly switches to full-on shoulder rams, hurling his force into the wall, chip at a time. When his shoulders begin to buckle and ache, he switches to hammerfists, keeping his knuckles protected by muscle as he slams away.

It takes quite a while but slowly and surely the cracks deepen and creep along the sides of the walls until they reach the top and bottom of the cave. As Tachi does this he actually finds, as crazy as it sounds, that he's getting a better and better feel for the stone. With every few hits a correction to his technique dawns on him with an ever so slight improvement thrown in.
However this is not quite the final solution.
"Good" the Volcano of Gaoshigai growls punching another hole into the cave wall further down. "Now with just your fists. Left first, then right, then left and continue to switch until the cracks on the side of this hole have met the ones from your other hole".

Had Tachi just gone in straight, he would have wrecked his hands. His anger might be being stoked, but not this much. Control and anger was going side by side.
Tachi began to methodically and mercilessly pound the rocks. He still felt like he was in that place beyond pain, where he kept pushing through pain. But now, he knew how to make the rocks yield, instead of exhausting his resources.

The rest of the time Tachi spends training rushes by him in an all too quick blur. Punch after punch collides with the cave wall. Fist chips, then pebble-sized portions, and then full fledged rocks begin to flow from the hole he punches at.
At some point everything fades to black and he finds himself inside a bedroll next to his master out in the open air. His body aches all over and his fists feel as if they had been turned to stone themselves and then drenched in magma. It has stopped raining and Tachi is able to recognize that he and his master are towards the beginning of the woods where they started the more treacherous part of their journey.
"You awake at last. I was beginning to worry" his master says through a smile.

Tachi nods. His hands ache, but the aching is dull now, and the warmth has replaced it. "How did I get here, Sensei?" Tachi asks. "And when did you train him, if you are willing to explain, Sensei?"

''I carried you after you collapsed. You have been asleep for two days now'' he replies. Before answering Tachi's second question he casts a wayward glance towards the newly cleared sky.
''I taught him a long time ago...but to tell the truth I consider him more a fellow pupil than a student to my master''

Tachi nods. The two seemed evenly matched... now it was one of his goals to exceed both of them.
He gets up and begins to warm himself up to leave and get back...

The Szechuan Caldera burned with a mighty fury. His Volcano Punch was not enough to secure total victory, nor his passion enough to secure the control of Yuu's organization. But his fury was stoked by that last blow that secured the Devil's defeat, and by their success.
It was now time to prepare for one of his other plans. The Iron Dragonfly would need to take wing. And he needed to search the Buster City to find a man who was a Boss of all Japan that could help him with the Yuu problem...

As the winds stir so do the dragonflies take their que, albeit they are a bit delayed in doing so. Hesitance breeds caution afterall. But first things first...
[ Episode 6 - To save lives! ]
After the all out brawl turned sour Tachi Inazuka ultimately returns to the one thing he knows best. His restaraunt. It is early morning when he comes in, unlocking the door, flipping on all the lights, running a few checks to make sure things are still as they should.
He finds not only that all is well but all is exactly as he left it. Not to say that the kitchen hasn't been in use the past two weeks because it certainly has. It is to say that everything has been flawlessly put back in the places Tachi usually kept them. In addition there is a note left on the counter.
Everything should be as it should. I have left detailed records of all transactions made while you were gone. Supplies may be low because I could not get to the top floor, your friends girlfriend is very territorial of the space.

[That's either "cue" or "queue". And "restaurant".]
Tachi chuckles. He writes a note:
Daichi:
You did excellent work from what I have seen so far. I am including a note of recommendation for you to use in your future endeavors. Ordering new inventory is not difficult. Your records are excellent. See you at school!
He then writes the said letter of recommendation, signed, "Tachi Inazuka, Executive Chef".
Ah. What a wonderful sensation.
Well. No time to dilly-dally. Onto preparing the essentials for the next day! (The few that Daichi had not gotten to.)

Tachi proceeds to the storeroom to find everything as he left it, butter and other such condiments neatly stored. Meats and vegitables refrigerated and contained. He also finds a young woman sitting in the center of the area legs crossed and with a large and long object wrapped in cloth setting in front of her.
She wears a dull purple robe and black hakama with a scrap of violet cloth covering her eyes. Black hair hangs neatly about her shoulders and from the looks of the rest of her well developed body she must be older than Tachi (though not by much).
Her head perks up as Tachi enters. Other than that she makes no movement.

Tachi ignores her. She is well-established here.

Tachi passes by the woman, grabs the proper supplies and accoutrement then proceeds back down the way he came. With a practiced ease he fills in what few low spots there are in the restaurants pre-prepared supplies.
The day proves to be of moderate pace in terms of business concerning the restaurant. It is only halfway into his third hour there that interesting company rears its head and orders food.
This particular interesting customer is dressed in a cheap brown suit (not quite threadbare but getting there), slacks, an orange tie and graying black hair. Between his mannerisms and the sparce spread of wrinkles on his face he looks to be only a little past middle aged.
"Hello" he bows when asked his order "My name is Oda Nakazawa, I am here to order and make friends on behalf of The Roasting Roost, the premier spot for Cantonese cuisine in the area".

Tachi nods. "I thank you for your kind offer to this unworthy upstart". He is behaving as a good Cantonese should: Excessive humility and deference. "Please, tell me what you require and I will provide it with the utmost in speed".

"It is customary of the restaurants in this part of the city to get acquainted with one another so as to foster a friendship and understanding between potential business rivals. Though we have been slow on this matter I believe that one of the restaurants has already approached you...the one owned by Mr. Lee?"
Tachi remembers the escapade at the up-scale restaurant that he and his friends attended, though it had been a while ago.
"Essentially I am here to invite you to our restaurant next for a kind exchange of words and possibly talk of the future" Mr. Nakazawa explains.

Tachi nods. Is this a Yakuza trap? Perhaps. But it is best to accept and then plan, rather than to risk the loss of this important opportunity and to inform a potential enemy that we are not so easily fooled.
"Yes. We rather enjoyed ourselves. I will accept your kind invitation, and will ask our business manager to attend as well, if that is not an imposition".

"It is not. In fact it would be most acceptable should you bring him along. Though there is no rush I will inform my employees to be expecting you Mr..?" he begins to lean over into a bow.

"Inazuka. Do you have the time to arrange the meeting now?"

"Yes. If you will allow those at my restaurant some time you and your business associate may come over in the more immediate future" the man explains.
Tachi isn't quite sure where Gin is at the moment so there is the chance that he might want to hold off for a bit. Especially if this is a trap of some sort. Then again there is the possibility that this is a simple meet and greet with another restaurant and Tachi can handle it himself should Gin not be available.

Tachi wants to have his business model, plans and so forth prepared, as well as make sure he looks nice and has the time, before this meeting. He'll go at least tomorrow, certainly not today. Between customers, he prepares the information he'll want on hand.

Tachi does so with a studious efficiency that is not to be snickered at. He manages to keep up with the decent flow of high school kids, college kids and more than a few adults taking a quick break from work to have some lunch while preparing the proper documentation.
After a full day of activity the crowd subsides and Tachi has a bit more time to himself.

Tachi has two things to begin to prepare aside from his lunch. First, he must seek out someone who can stop the assassination attempts and leave Onagi alone. Second, he must prepare for his trip to China for Christmas.

As part of his re-assessment of what he needs to get done next Tachi notices that he has a missed call from a restricted number. Normally no big deal with the exception that Tachi didn't get restricted number calls. Doesn't. The only person that shows up like that on his phone is his father. Douzu Inazuka.

Tachi sighs. Well, he's been relatively happy with me lately, but if he's heard about the Yakuza / Yuu thing, well... I guess it might be time for him to take one of his special 'trips'. Tachi calls his father back on the agreed-upon line for instances such as this. "Yes, Dad?"

"Heeey, Tachi my boy. How're ya doin'?" your father answers in his constant relaxed as shit tone.
"The holidays are comin' up and I thought instead of our usual Christmas eve meet an' greet we should go on a vacation. Your school's almost out for the holidays ain't it?"

"Oh really? finally learned dead men tell no tales eh?" your father half comments half laughs.
"In all seriousness I was thinkin' something of the same. A trip to the country side away from a lotta the clamor and commotion. You've been ruffling some serious feathers in that school a yours and I've been meaning to have a serious chat" he elaborates. Though it's still got the same playful tone to it that he always has Tachi notices a detectable amount of seriousness in his words. A tone he hasn't heard since he was five. Since they last had to change provinces.
"Think you can make the twelve o' clock flight from Yamada airport three days from now?"

"You want I should find a replacement? I hear Touma's got a daughter who just graduated cooking school" Tachi's father offers.
While it's hard to get past his usual tone that implies ulterior motives weather it's a business proposition or just asking for the sports page this particular suggestion DOES sound valid. Should Tachi's former replacement be unable to fill in again or prove unwilling.
