This is the story of Tachi Inazuka, a young man torn between his fathers Yakuza lifestyle and a deep desire to cook his own dishes both metaphorically and literally.
Though he struggles daily with his fathers choices in the form of his own violence problems this time he is caught just the slightest bit off guard. It is just as he finishes closing "The Double Dragon Two : The Revenge!" (the restaurant where Tachi is head chef) when he receives an interesting call on his second phone...
[Start! Episode five - The Dangerous Call-back!]

Tachi looks at the phone with a degree of trepidation. Is this that chick? She was a real firebrand, that one... Or is it a ninja? Or... oh, for the Buddha, it could be anything. He opens the phone and says, "Tachi Inazuka speaking".

"Inazuka" repeats a sleek female voice. The word rings of a fresh remembrance.
"You wanna return my phone?" the voice asks, this time in a more sure tone.

Tachi smiles broadly. "I'd love to. Come by the Double Dragon II: The Revenge anytime, I'll include it in a ramen order. Only one request, though: I'd like to chat with ya a little longer than last time..."

"Hmh, I think I'll pass. Though if you're so eager to talk I'm near fifth and Hikouga right now" is her response.
Tachi recognizes the intersection imeediately as one of the few "danger zones" for anyone of shall we say, more straight and narrow proffessions?

This is probably a test. "Tsk tsk, you know that I'm trying to go straight. But I can handle myself. Giri, On and Gimu require that I return your phone, so I will. See you soon." He leaves and starts heading over. This girl might prove to be a pain... But if she doesn't like Yakuza men, why is she in such a dangerous location?

Tachi makes his way down to fifth and Hikouga. As he walks he feels the eyes of the night upon him, glancing up from their shadowy homes. Ciggarette smoke and the stench of cheap booze come wafting through the enterances of every other building. Wayward catcalls and chastisings from the odd stumbling drunk may be heard off down other streets.
After somewhere around fifteen minutes of walking Tachi comes to a dimly lit intersection. Tachi spots his target leaning against the intersection sign wearing tight, torn up black jeans and a tight black shirt that reads "CODE BLUE" in silver kanji in the center that in addition to being bare midriff is also draped over one shoulder. Her silvery white hair and shark fang earring move just in step with her head as she turns towards Tachi.
"That didn't take long"

"Honoring my promises is important to me". Tachi takes out her phone and extends it out. "I helped out the guy your dad set to keep an eye on ya. Bein' free is one thing, but if ya gotta step on someone else to leave, mebbe it's time to think about it different, huh? By the way, you look good."

"Cheh! Takeda knew what he was getting himself into" she says taking back her phone.
She quickly looks through it, presumably checking for messages and then looks back up at Tachi. The kind that the indifferent winds give a sailor particularly far out at sea, the kind that could be evenly split between storm and smooth sail. Her sly contemplation ceases with a single sentence.
"That was a nice trick you pulled last time".

"I was going for a bit more than your cell", Tachi smiles flirtatiously. "But I ended up achievin' a secondary objective, which was good enough. Hope ya didn't miss any important calls".

She cracks the slightest hint of a devils smile before reply
"No, I didn't. Looks like the last guy my father tried to set me up with didn't have the guts for a second "date". Wonder how I'll kill the rest of the evening" she says half to Tachi half to no one at all.

"What, did you threaten to cut him? You don't seem so dangerous to me..." Tachi rubs his head in a self-reflecting manner. "Then again, I guess my perception o' things has been messed up by havin' to constantly fight at that damn school. Well, the restaurant's closed, so I got nothin' to do. Mind if I show ya some sights?"

"Hmh! let's just say I keep at a more rigorous pace than some can handle" she says with a coy smile.
"If you think you can keep up I know a couple of sights we could enjoy" she continues, now taking several steps down Hikouga.

Tachi's giant strides let him keep up fairly easily, at least at first. "Sure, why not?"

As they go Tachi also finds it hard to keep up with his company. Not because of any speed or pacing issues but because of where she is going. There is more than a small part of Tachi that tells him to slow down as he taking steps further and further into major gang entertainment territory.
After passing by several gambling dens and a pool hall or two Tachi finds himself outside a small night club known simply as "The Panther".
Your friend easily breezes past the bouncer outside. A guy in his mid twenties, black suit with a redish-brown undershirt and silver chain necklace. His sturdy build and slick black hair place themselves right in your path as you try to follow after the girl.
"An' where do you think you're going?"

"I'm with her. Check the list again." Tachi sneakily slips out two thousand yen and a coupon for a free ramen at Double Dragon II: The Revenge.

Tachi makes the slip without missing a beat. His good timing is reciprocated by equally good results.
"My mistake" the bouncer grunts.
Once inside Tachi sees a dance floor bustling with as many revolving raidiant colors as it does people. Most range around late teens to mid twenties though there are a few older men and women sprinkled throughout the crowd. The raging new-techno beat shaking the room dies down almost on que as Tachi's company notices he's still with her.
"That was quick" she says with barely a glance back.

"Dad taught me a few tricks. Not all of 'em involve a blowtorch and a screwdriver."
Flashback.
"Now, son, when they scream, the screwdriver starting to do its job. So you start to burn the screwdriver and let em watch the blade get hot..."
"I love dancin'!" Dancing was one of the few father-son activities Tachi didn't actively despise...

"You dance? show me" Tachi's company says as she starts into her own techno-dancemix-fueled gyrations that not only make for an attractive showing but also keeps her easily abreast of the bobbing crowd.

Tachi realizes now that his dad had him "dance" in order to prepare for the Triad Assassin's motions, and Mien Ch'uan when he recognized that his son probably wouldn't pick up a gun anytime soon. He uses cotton fist motions combined with some old disco moves and some raving moves from the 90s.

Tachi's wavy movements catch more than a few eyes as he slips and slides through the bobbing crowd of youths. A bizarre mixture of styles it probably garners its own amount of criticism beneath the pulsing vibrations of sound.
Our hero's company manages to boogie up to the side of him with a half-smile on her face. She draws close and speaks directly into Tachi's ear.
"What do you call that?"

"The Silk Snake. I have special moves for dancing wit' a partner, too."

"Oh really?" her words float across the waves of sound with the fickle weight of a dare.
She draws closer to Tachi now moving with him in a smooth side to side motion almost reminiscent of a snake dancing to a charmers flute.

Tachi uses a modified Sticky Hands to keep his hands an inch away from her, sliding them parallel to her body, while he matches her snake motion, moving away and toward from her in an undulating motion like a rope being dangled from the ceiling.

She draws in just a little bit closer to Tachi. Movements reciprocated yet kept unique in such a way that the two move together while maintaining the tiniest bit of distance.
"Do you use that technique for everything?" she half whispers as her lips drift past Tachi's ear during a particularly close revolution.

"Well, when you're good at somethin', you put it into all aspects of your life. That's what kung fu means: It's not just hittin' and fightin', it's skill at something." He undulates closer to a full whisper. "Besides, I bet I could show you some uses of sticky hands that might surprise you..." He says the whole sentence breathily, with no particular focus on any word, letting the double entendre carry its own weight.

She draws just a bit closer to Tachi and seems about to reply when something else catches her attention.
With a bit of effort Tachi spots it too. Two guys not much older than Tachi himself, both dressed like yakuza wanna be's. Black over coats, gold chains, shirts undone at the top two buttons. One wears sunglasses and white gloves. The other sports a slick center-spike hairdo. Both seem to be making their way towards the two of you.
"So which one do you want?" Tachi's company asks with a sly smile. She seems fairly unphased by this turn of events.

Tachi's lip curls in a sneer that might be rather horrifying to those not used to interacting with huge muscular Mongols. "The sunglasses asshole. Those gloves piss me off."

"Fine by me" she says seeminly undeterred, if not glad at Tachi's response. With an almost undoubtedly practiced movement she slips down into the crowd and begins moving around to center-spike's right.
It takes only a moment for the two to notice and upon doing so they double their speed quickly closing in on Tachi...
