The butt poke or including a bladed weapon?

including Hack's chainsaws

Again: This is the RSN. It doesn't HAVE Hack's chainsaws.

The RSN shifts through shadows, taking an indirect strafing approach that somehow is just as fast as if it went in a straight line. Taklinn nor Hack cannot see or perceive the efficacy of the RSN's attack [FN: 120/237 v 240], and the RSN gets no more actions.
Hack's full turn.

My team will go for the Overspirit. We'll teleport to the shrine and enter.

Don't know where the shrine is.

oog: the quest is to find the shrine dippy
anyway hack's full turn, rage and unholy strength (much to taklinn's dismay) and then whatever i have in the way of a flurry with my chainsaws

OOG: Hey, no insulting other players. There may be some shrines that you have a very good proximate area for.
Hack is just as blinded by the weather conditions as anyone else, unless you have some optics or sensor abilities you think I should know about.

Any rumours about the Overspirit?

oog:whoops sorry,
umm, he can see anything up from IR to Gamma, that's what the robo enhanced eyes are for, his eyes function very much as a thermal scope, an IR scope, and the crazy ass scope on the EM rifle from eraser, all rolled into one

The Overspirit Shrine is rumored to be in the Banbar Mountains.

Is there a start and an end to those mountains? If so, my crew will go to the Southern most end of the Banbar Mountains and work our way through.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 1, 2007 14:37:53 GMT -5
No, the mountain is a single peak.

|
Post by Mace Parshath on Jan 5, 2007 19:31:26 GMT -5
Eh, we'll start on...any points on note on the mountains? Or should I just pick a point at random?

The foothills between the mountain and Venecia has a lot of people and can be a good place to mount the expedition.

We'll go there and ask for a good historian who knows about the hills, plus a guide.

The Ranari family farm is currently almost blistering the landscape with its yellow fields of corn. The people stride through the smaller town, formerly just a glorified farmer's market and general store, confidently and peacefully. Having Xenocratis Veneficium Secutor, Thrash Ranari, Ilyena Ranari, Lianna Ingram and Badcat Xiang so close will make anyone feel safe. The general store owner is quite helpful, recommending either Thrash himself or Thrash's maternal grandfather (who either "stubbornly" or "tenaciously" clings to life with arthritic paws, depending on whom one asks), Balar Ranari.

Thrash's grandfather would be a fun addition to the team. And I'm guessing we know where he lives? If so, we'll walk there if it's not too far. Plus...
"Know any good historians? Archeaologists? I've found that the later are pretty good when it comes to temples/shrines/etc."

OOG: Didn't you just ask the same guy about historians? Or are you going to see Balar now?
_________________________________________________________________________
Yeah, I figured you had everyone else's range (and IR to UV is actually a very short range on EM). A powerful EM storm would probably make bands that would cover everything, and not everything is visible on some of the spectra that the storm wouldn't block out. You'd have to be strategic about your perception and search criteria.

(I was asking around for a guide and a historian, but if you forgot to mention that Balar is also a historian, then forget the question because I thought Balar was just the suggested guide.)

"well okay then, this is gonna be fun" *hack looks for the general area in which the last little bastard is, and then instructs everyone to launch an AOE in the general vicinity*

OOG: Yeah, you just asked the same dude the same question.
"As far as guides go, Balar can take you pretty much anywhere, but I wouldn't count on him pulling tons of weight.."
_______________________________________________________________
...You don't know the general area. That's sort of the point. It's in front of you, probably.

All right. The Sphere erupts, flames shooting everywhere. [FN: 276/81]. Amazingly, the flame outlines the small creature in the distance... but the lightning defense prevents the flame from even coming close. More turn for Hack.
