There are puppets to be found and enemies to be turned into puppets. Go and away!

ikiru and naga and spira will just work together on these, but lets start with..... a splugorth puppet, then we will get a budong, then we can score a few of whatever race the Predators are.

Yikes. Keith got the Splugorth's crown (he'll actually get that benefit when he finishes the fight), so when he does that you can take the Splugorth corpse he defeated and make one. That'll be horrific. Other good ones would be an Unholy (Wormwood).
What is a Budong?
The Predators are Yautja.

i will use kieths corpse, so then lets go right for the budong. the only thing i know about finding them is that they hide in planetary rings, with outcroppings on the tops of their heads disguising them as big rocks.

Budong shouldn't be too hard to find with Spira's skills, the only question is finding the big ones.
And will Naga be seeking out any puppets for Ikiru?

she is with us, i said that ya JERK! budong are attracted to electrical fields cause thats their food, so just make a big ass electrical field in an area with a large amounts of ringed planets and then lay in wait for them to show up.

Yeah, see, Ikiru's skills are less about creating a puppet (though Naga can easily handle that) and more about cleverly using them. So it would be more fortuitous for Ikiru to find pre-created puppets, especially mechanical and not body-derived puppets.
That's a very good idea, but you will need to make sure that you won't harm civvies plus will want to make sure that a large Budong is within the area, not to mention no sources of "noise".

Ikiru's thumbing through the notes at the Magister, floating silently near around twenty other similar researchers, turns up something incredibly odd. There was apparently a whole marginal alien culture, now extinct, that thought of everything in terms of dolls, puppets, statues, and so on (ironic since they were nowhere near humanoid). The Watcher studying them is called Jahn.
Naga smiles and says, "If we want to take down a Budong, we may want more than a robot with crude elementalism."

immediately cast I'll Kick Your Ass Fucker, then sigh and say "Yeah, ok. Think those old cunts will let us use the RW as bait?"

"Sounds like something you might just want to ask, hmm?" Naga says, with a predatory smile.
Is Ikiru going to investigate further?

Jahn is fittingly enough on the planet that the civilization lived upon. He luckily is quite open to discussing his research and any assistance; however, he also is a thoroughly vile creature. Ikiru appears at Jahn's work station. The person Jahn is faced with is a tall greenish clawed body with a hooked nose... but out of that body is growing an Illithid. Jahn says, "Ikiru, Japanese for the verb 'to live'. Welcome to my humble station."
Spira walks up to BC. BC says, "Oh, shit."

"You want to hunt a Budong. Fantastic. And you want my ship as bait. Now, why the hell would I do that?"
And Ikiru to Jahn?

"Look, I know you dont like the idea, but I need to attract a large enough one for my needs, and I really feel the RW is the best possible bait."

Badcat: "I'm sure it is. That explains why YOU would do it. Not why *I* would do it."
Jahn: "Hmm. Given your tutelage under Kankurou, I am not surprised. So, in particular what are you interested in?"

Spira : Dont you think its kind of your perrogative for having one of the best fucking sources of ambient energy fields to have ever existed, which isnt even a valid statement cause the damn thing practically exists and doesnt exist at the same time!"
Ikiru: I am looking for a puppet that may have been too powerful to control, at least for these beings. Taming the untameable is a good start when looking for power.

"Huh. That is a good point. Oh, fine. Get ready to kill that thing, though: I can only do so much with the ship guns."
Jahn says, "Hmm. Well, my research so far has only uncovered that they declined through the normal means one would expect, though a puppet that may have broken its strings would be a reasonable hypothesis given the evidence... But tell me, Ikiru of the Somnium, what could I get from you for my assistance?" He smiles and holds a book in his hands. "I think with some help I could provide you with what you need..."

ok so ikiru will check the planet out and see if he can get a teammate drunk and trick em into destroying a place.
spira will go to the deepest blacks of space and just sit there, and bring archeus and clawthorn with me, along with naga still right?

"It is rumored that they created puppets that could give a hand to ghosts... Possibly us Watchers. Help me find some of those as well as the other puppets and I will share with you all I know."
Yeah, Naga's in on this, as well as her familiars and DIO things, and some of Ikiru's DIO things. Will Tim get in on this action?

Ikiru expects that a Budong of the size the Ranger's Wing could attract would be ancient, having accumulated who knows what kind of minerals in its existence. It would possess physical and possibly other powers of colossal levels, probably Transgressive Strength and Reflex...
