Brunnengus' Anfini and Dark Agni power has slaked his appetite. The Mana Beast. Typhon. Atma Weapon. Dragonlord. Jormungand. The Naga. Dark Rudra. Dark Grand Dragon. The Lamia. Echidna. Old Flame Dancing. Uktena. He seeks all of their forms, and he will take them, by force if necessary.

lets go for dark rudra and dark grand dragon for now.

Rudra was gained by finding the Dragon Temples and defeating the various spirits of them as well as having the Dragon Sword. Brunnengus has the Sword, he just needs to find the various temples now.
Ryu II, on the other hand, gained Grand Dragon by being forced to confront Ray Bradoc of the Dark Dragon Tribe in a rather tragic battle. At the moment, aside from the Armored Slayer, Brunnengus has no such opponent. But his growing little brother IS an incredibly powerful Light Dragon...

It wouldn't have to be death, and he's not born yet. Hint, hint.
You don't know where the temples are. They've probably been hidden and lost for generations.

I told you because it has certain implications you can take advantage of now.
Generally, Light Dragon Shrines are loathe to offer Dark Dragons advice. Dark Dragons find their own way, no matter how good of a person this Dark Dragon happens to be.

It's not a good/evil thing, it's a tribal thing. They wouldn't help you and they don't know where the Dark Dragon Temples are anyways.

alright, well start by asking my tribe shaman, then cruise around a massive area looking for temples.

The shaman is, of course, somewhat cryptic. "The first temple is of ground, sunk in the loving ground of the Earth and Water Drakes; the second temple is of sea, behind a maze of circles and in a city of the living dead; the third is of air, hiding in the black of storm and the white of light. The fourth temple is nowhere, destroyed by the sword."

An old man says, "Hmm. I'm not sure what he means."
A woman says, "His comments are clouded in mystery. It is the way of the spirits."
The little girl who taught Zee the dance says, "He's a little cuckoo up here!" She swirls her finger around her ear. "Water and earth makes mud, I think he means."

ok, figured it was gonna involve mud head to yonder swamps
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 14, 2006 21:59:07 GMT -5
...Which swamps? There are millions that he could be talking about. It'd probably be a LARGE bunch of actual mud, not a bog. Possibly a flooded area or a place with a lot of mud avalanches.

head to that nasty area where you fight Zog in the big tower
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 15, 2006 22:45:55 GMT -5
Scande. It has become a large city since then, but the elevator to Zog's palace is off-limits. It is quite possible that beyond that large hall where you fight him originally, there is a temple or shrine of tremendous power.

indeed, head on in and ask who the relevant person would be to talk to if i was on a CH mission (yay for missions of good where i dont have to be in disguise)

That's an easy one: the local Ranger's Guild.

run up and tell them of my quest to obtain dark rudra.

The people here say, "That's nice. Do you need a mission or information?"

Tell them I need access to the area where Zog was first encountered.

"That's a matter of the civil authorities. I doubt you'll be able to get in."

go to the civil authorities, tell them that they can feel free to close the door behind us

The office is deep in the tower somewhat below where the elevator begins. There are departments for maintenance, law, etc. Which department will you ask?
|
|
|
Post by halfhero on Jan 18, 2006 21:18:29 GMT -5
go to the maintenance department, and tell them i need to know if there are any alternative entrances to the area where zog was fought, because CH has reason to believe an entity has escaped from there.
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 18, 2006 21:27:13 GMT -5
You're really abusive about your title, ain't ya?
The maintenance department says, "Well, that elevator and the old security door don't even work anymore. I just can't believe that something's escaped! We'd have noticed. We've fixed all the old tunnels..."
