From Spira's Ryoko and Alucard Training, there are many stones of power (the "reactors" for Ryoko's power) and seal releases and creators, not to mention upgrades for Redline II, out there to be found.

OOG: On a separate topic, residual energy from Adamant Avalanche is likely in you. Maybe the scientist or the SCGA can bring back Quicksilver Metal and metal elemental power for you.
Those creators would be Solar Systems, LLC. But the head scientist on the R-LINE project, Miranda Summers, is no longer with them. Which do you want to see?

Yes. Despite this model being an embarassment for them, Adamant Avalanche and yours' occupancy of the body has given them all the good PR they could imagine. Plus you have a CH ID and people normally don't like to piss off Rangers.
As you walk into Solar Systems, LLC, a few businessmen in the lobby turn and try to avoid openly gasping. Their responses are so obvious to you. A secretary looks up, obviously oblivious to who you are, and says, "Solar Systems Corporate Headquarters, how may I help you?" One of the suits walks up and says, "Linda, I think I'll handle this."

"Ah, finally someone who understands whats happening here! If you wouldn't mind, I was interested in seeing how things are in R&D lately. I have been so busy upgrading the spiritual that I forgot about physical upgrades."
ever his father's son, spira will flood the secretary's mind with horrrific images and the like.

The secretary falls over screaming. The suit says, "Please don't do that, we have a high enough turnover rate as it is. Look, Mr. Veri... while you have brought us some good public relations, you're still an X factor, and I see no good reason to upgrade you for free. Anyways, you're getting fairly far beyond our skill to, you know, improve."

"Free? I am willing to pay for supplies we go through, but how about we go ahead and take a look at the latest prototypes eh? I have a few friends who might be eager to help in your advancements."

"Now, you know that Rangers are supposed to remain neutral in the realms of business and politics. And even if we could develop something compatible with your unique setup quickly enough, the R&D costs would be in the billions [here he's speaking UEG standard credits, not GP, but nonetheless]. But sure, I'll show you our latest products if you so wish, though I can't in good conscience show you prototypes or trade secrets."

The man takes out a catalog. "First, the disclaimer: Solar Systems, LLC is not responsible for any unforeseeable results of upgrading your prototypical body. I don't imagine that will deter you, so here you go." He hands Spira the glossy magazine-sized catalog. On the cover is computer generated artwork of a great city in front of barren skies. "You'll want our robotic sections, particularly small robotics; engines and scramjets; and power systems. That's pages...umm, 21-51, 80-90, and 71-79, respectively."

OOG: I just realized that this really isn't very much on the topic as stated, is it?
There are roughly thirty models, the pages divided into thirds with hologram-prompting pictures. The models vary from starship, planet and other colossal engines that cost into the billions to rigs they sell to parachuters and other thrill seekers that are low-powered versions of the original Redline shifting-scramjet system for relatively cheap prices. There are three, probably mutually exclusive, models that could be added to the current scramjet system that Spira has: One that starts out relatively slow but exponentially gains, one designed for pinpoint high-speed functions and one designed for long empty stretches (meaning that the model takes a long time to set up and end).

lets get the long empty stretches one, i can whoop jin even harder with it.

Well, the net fastest one is the exponential progression one.

ok, well lets go for the pinpoint moves ones first, then see about the exponentia speed one.

You mean, read more about it or actually have it implanted? Right now, your body only has so much "room", even considering the SCGA, for improvements. In particular, you really can only get one of the scramjet designs, unless you can find some way to have multiple systems in one body.
The pinpoint moves one in essence makes the whole body a blazing field of constantly shifting scramjets. The forces can be equalized to build up speed and then released. The field has a degree of reactivity/sentience to it so it doesn't burn what you don't need it to burn and so it can spontaneously repel you away from objects you might crash into.

nice yeah definitely go for that one, and also, on the subject of ikiru, justin was wondering if i can enhance their sharingans somehow, and i also just thought about fusing eyes, i.e. Storm Tiger Sharingans

Yes, Ikiru with his Shigure mastery and Prism Eye Castala skills could do so, as could anyone with enough points into Prism Eye Castala. He could also create coordinations with arms (i.e. Mosho's Sharingen Arm or Mica's Scar arms), maws (Krane's Maw of Collapsing Madness), special scars, etc.
The man says, "Ah. I always figured you would go for the exponentiation motor. Remember in the Dark Tournament when you Gaia Forced and... Well, I digress. The Solar Systems Aurora Pinpoint System costs five hundred thousand GP. There is a deluxe version for two million GP."

"But dude, do YOU remember when I couldnt control myself too well after that?" Then do a chakra strike sequence in the air thats too fast so my arm just goes crazy. "So yeah, Two million, sure. Say, have you guys ever thought about a runic afterburner system? I know I have." Wink about a million times in one second.

"We've thought about it, but it's not really our expertise. I'm sure you can figure it out. So we'll get that installed for ya. I'll need the two million either in an installment package, cash, a guaranteed cash transfer, or credit."

hehe, can spira conjure money out of his SCGA?

Well, counterfeiting protection against things like Fool's Gold have gotten very good. He can conjure a limited amount. But remember that he got cash from the team, adventures AND he can put in a petition for more money.

yeah i was just curious is all.
to make money, i will have milky make a megascythe equipment card for magic and a spira, elemental lord card for yu gi oh, and a spira, scramjet psychotic card for yu gi oh as well, then have mmilky put them up on some auctions and rake in the dough.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 18, 2006 23:26:45 GMT -5
...Spira has the money. To the best of my knowledge, you never spent that 5 million, right? Will you do that anyways? And will you defer payment until you did?
|
|
|
Post by halfhero on Mar 23, 2006 22:24:12 GMT -5
spira will do that still, but upon remembering he has the money, he will blatantly go to the auction and buy the scramjet psychotic card for himself
(on the phone with milky) "What!? Where did you take it from? Oh badass, it's mine! Fuck Droppo, I dont give a SHIT about money." (hang up) "So yeah, heres my card."

"Excellent, Mr. Veri. Your credit is of course good with us. Now: Come this way." He presses a button and a teleporter to his factory floor opens.

Step into yonder teleporter

The teleporter leads to a large factory. There are a variety of production lines, some producing ships, some producing robots. A crane puts an engine down. The executive says, "Stop the presses! Team C, I need you pronto on a special client!" He turns around and says, "Step onto that production line over there." He points to a line that clearly moves very slowly.
