The line is filled with various models and engines, but nothing prototypical or special, just what was in the catalog. The line is ready.

Spira steps on. Immediately, the line kicks into breakneck speed, quite literally, with Spira being stopped every place along the way by inertial dampeners. One station projects electromagnetic broadening energy at him, making his form spread apart wider and wider until an energy form can be installed into the center. This reveals a swirling humanoid field of bursting flame, shifting sand, swirling wind, pounding water, jagged metal, etc. all constantly moving outwards in rippling waves, leading into a veritable universe of activity. The workers spend some time simply aghast, one man averting his eyes in fear, then the process is over.
After some recuperation time, the line begins again, with a thin spray containing nanobots is spritzed over Spira, entering his body and redesigning and reprogramming. Meanwhile, macro-level processes are handled by a large energy-tool-creating block-like tool mounted on a crane.
Once all this is done, the line stops. The executive makes a broad sweeping gesture with his arms and says, "Shall we?"

"I assume you have a testing ground?"

"We do indeed." He steps to the executive teleporter and pulls up a hidden keypad, entering in a code and saying, "Enter."

Take one step in, and root myself, charging the jets up, upon release, I will try to hit the absolute center of each wall in sequence until I lose control.

Spira is in an obstacle course with some entrances seemingly far too small for anything even half Spira's side to enter! Spira charges up... then smacks straight into the thick wall and stops completely. "Sorry, this is as a default set to walls that can't be broken even by your speed and mass. Should I change it?"

"No, I just wasnt looking where I was going" Start careening wildly into the course

Are you actually avoiding the walls now?

Spira blasts away from the walls, millimeters and nanometers shy from a destructive encounter. The precision is no less incredible than they advertised, and with Spira's unique abilities, far more so. The executive is whispering over some scientists who are beginning to monitor Spira's trajectory with awe.

Tell him to make the walls destructible and begin pushing my speed further.

The scientists make some modification. Spira begins crashing through. The scientists say, "That should be impossible! That model was vulnerable during the scramjet procedure..."

wait, what should be impossible?

lYou beginning to smash through the walls. Redline originally couldn't take any hits during the process.

ahhh, nice. Show off some more by moving from place to place inside my speed ki as fast as i possible can until the whole field is just a blur of light and color. Just go ahead and try to short the new component out, since i am here anyway.

Spira tries what he believes to be his best, moving in opposite directions to stress the component, but it does not short out at all.

Ok, moving on to phase two of twinked out wishes plan alpha, can i take this new component and place it on my artifact altar?

Actually, yes.

So yeah, that was the easiest upgrade I have ever gotten in this game. Head out of the room, appearing suddenly in front of every scientist momentarily. "So, I will probably be experimenting with this device to a fair degree, is there a way I can directly get hold of your scientists to discuss the mods?"

The businessman seems to hesitate, but the head scientist puts his hands up. "I'm Dr. Abrams. This is my pager number. Give me full specs any time day or night. I may have questions for you intermittently as well."

"I feel it would be prudent to give you a small idea what sort of experiments I will be performing. You dont scare easy do you? You are about to see a universe that shouldnt exist."

Dr. Abrams nods but seems a bit fearful, quite understandably. Two of the researchers seem totally gleeful, the remaining ones almost apopletic.

Spira takes Abrams through a sea of boiling flame several lightyears wide. In the altar currently lies the existing item. Spira removes it and places in his own upgrade. Immediately, explosive eruptions burst from Spira, building his speed up, both inside and outside the SCGA. The scramjet energy then subsides and becomes constant, faint green wisps floating around him.

Ask Abrams if he knows what the green energy is, unless its just scramjet energy.

It seems to just be scramjet energy.

hehe, i forgot what i was doing in this post.
"Well, this feels pretty good" Find a spot about a lightyear away and put every ounce of my will into reaching that point.

OOG: The hope was to find Ryoko-style stones, Alucard or Orochimaru-style seal enhancers, and upgrades for Redline. You went for the factory upgrade to Redline. There was still the matter of finding the original designer, though: Miranda Summers.
Spira quickly reaches that location, about ten times as quickly as before. The constant acceleration to about 70% of the distance then the braking takes about seven seconds for Spira in his own time, and is about instant in real time. He clocked 10,000 FTL initially and increased perpetually at a rate of x3 per second!
From inside of Spira, the scientist say, "Is the merchandise satisfactory, Mr... Veri?"
Another voice pipes up, a bit scared, "And can we get a ride back?"

"....Yeah, on both of those. You aren't squeemish about being teleported are you?"
OOG: yeah i knows, but then i found out about this altar around the same time i got the new component to my armor, i think originally i went to the scientists to get some upgrades before heading out to find power seals.
When the scientists are safely back in their reality and place of work, I will say, "So what kind of info do you guys have on the Redline design's original inventor?".
