OOG: And Sam and Derrick?
Adonis, Cory's new character, Vinny, Ali, Sandra, Beth, Hiro and Norman began to fight zombies on a fire truck. They got to the records hall which was on fire. Cory eliminated a fireball, and it was Cory's turn, continuing to keep the zombies away. It was Adonis' turn. _______________________________________________________________________
Zelen'd have to be in a different part of the base.
The group successfully stabs the thing to pieces, but Taklinn gets a piece of Keryis' back with it. This proves to be a blessing in disguise, as a flexible membrane of eggs leaks out of his rear lower abdomen.
______________________________________________________________
Mace, Laura, Brent and Jerry are in their fatigues. The eggheads need constant protection of these halls for some strange reason...

What are they armed with?

Same as Hack's team: M-16s, Colt or Eagle .45s, K-Bar combat knives, three hand grenades. They have some rubbet bullets for riot control.

Alright. Mace will have actively equipped to him the M-16, Laura a DE .45, Brent an M-16, and Jerry with a Colt. They'll walk down the hallway, situated in a square formation.

The mess hall is empty now and all there is are leftovers: Fish sticks and such.
Going to do anything else but scream?
Not a hallway. You're outside.

Ah, okay. Could you describe the area in our field of vision?

To the south is a sloping field going to a large grass training area, where, for example, armed combat occurs. To the east is a road leading to the base gates, a north-south road. To the north are more barracks, and to the east is a long path leading to the laboratories.

The team will head East in a diamond formation, Laura at the front, Jerry in the back, Brent to the left, Mace to the right. The formation will allow full use of both the long-range and short-range weapons, where as having both short-range to one side, and both long-range on the other side, would limit one side to close and the other to long. This allows for long range to pick off farther targets while the closer enemies are gunned down by the hand gun-user.

Oops, sorry, WEST is laboratories, still head East?

Yeah, I figure I might be able to pick some stuff up from the barracks.

...Why would you be picking stuff up? You're on patrol. Regular patrol.

fred I want to play with MAC! I just woke up right? and with two abuilities right? I think I said I want my cybernetic arms and if I can my legs too!! and how about access to my satilite?

Access to satellite... it depends, it'd have to be only for very minor uses like maybe getting a message to a particular person or scanning a 100x100 area per hour. Cybernetic legs are fine.
Quion, Sarashito and an old man were waiting for you, rapidly eating oatmeal. The lights are out in the dank basement. There is a faint light from an oil lamp. You guess that there is a small ventilation shaft somewhere. Only the most essential machinery is on. There is a small generator in the corner. The insulation is thick and the door is heavy and steel, with multiple bars and obvious signs of nearby reinforcement. There's enough canned and preserved food to last for years, and the fridge clearly has a bizarre cross-section of looted food. Nonetheless, rationing is clearly the order of the day. A radio unit is clearly visible.

OOG: And for the other benefit?
There is indeed a bowl of oatmeal ready for Mac. Everyone is hungry and tired enough just to sort of nod, grunt and keep chewing.

OOG I want more cyborge parts, I want my chest if that is possible. or I would like to get nanobots cause that is what every zombie game needs..
BIG I will sit down and start eating cause food is good and cyborgs still need food.
"so where is this place and how did you guys survive?"
"I was at the high school and got attacked by these three girls who the costodian had raped and killed...."

|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Dec 30, 2007 18:08:53 GMT -5
OOG: Healing nanobots? Those would need to be activated and would be slow regen.
The old man eats a little bit more slowly and says, "This is my Y2K Bug shelter. I'm glad I got some use out of it. These guys managed to get to me somehow."
Quion raises an eyebrow. "So, zombies?"

OOG ok how about the fire sword that jazuil made for me. also who was on the bus with me? I so cant remember. was it Quion, Sarashito?
BIG:"yea zombies that suck!" when im done I will wash my bowl out and go back and sit down. "so what are we going to do about this? We could live out in this basement, but then the question become how long till they find us?"

OOG: Jezul, and while a fire sword in that style might be acceptable (though I think it's still a little early in the campaign for that because it's supposed to be stuff that's a bit more subtle) that sword in particular won't be.
It was Quion and Sarashito, yes.
Quion nods to that. "Nice." He's a bit ironic.
Sarashito says, "Well, I don't know, we'll probably try to trap as many people as possible so we might be able to cure them. We'll try to get contact with the outside world."
The old man growls, "And if that doesn't work, we'll keep on killing them 'til they run out."
Quion adds, "And find people who are still in danger and bring 'em here."
Mac remembers the horrible fact that the government has decided that it's more likely to nuke the town to contain the infection than to save the people.

OOG kk no problem
BIG " I was able to get in touch with some one from out side the infected area by hacking into a satillite. The Government wants to nuke the area instead of trying to fix the problem."
"So we need to get out of here as quick as possible."
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 5, 2008 21:30:08 GMT -5
Quion hisses. "Of course. Solve it with a nuke. Why not just drop nukes on all the crackheads..." Sarashito says something in Japanese that stops Quion in his tracks. "That or we need to stop them. The problem is that there's still people alive, we can't leave them behind. And even if we do, there's a wall of zombies and cars. The main exits are blocked and the wilderness areas are insanely dangerous." The old man says, "We may need to save ourselves, hope they get out. You can't throw a lifesaver to someone if they'll pull you in."

"I might be able to hack into it again and find out when they plan to drop the bomb and see if I can stop it. But we are going to need the internet and a computer..."
"That is the only thing I can think of...."
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Jan 6, 2008 22:19:50 GMT -5
Quion shakes his head. "You'd need amazing hacking to stop them, whether they bomb or ICBM or anything it goes through a PAL system of authorization."
|
|
|

"I know I could not stop this but at least find out all the info we can about it that way were not up shit creek with out a paddle."

Quion nods. "Where'd you need to go?"
What Mac would need would be a powerful landline or broadcasting center.

OOG I’m starting in the hospital, was working there as a night nurse, so I know some first aid which could come in handy.
A teen looking girl sits on a white hospital bed in a small room. There are only two beds, a few metal cabinets, and one window, out of which she can see the zombies shambling around the streets. She is on the 6th floor, so jumping is impossible. She is putting things into a backpack, a first aid kit, and two bags of chips she got from the hospital cafeteria, and two bottles of water. Her hospital badge is slipped into her pocket, which will let her unlock some of the hospitals electric locks. Her appearance is slightly punkish, purple hair tied up in pigtails, a long sleeves purple and black shirt, baggy jeans, and a pair of heavy boots. In a side pocket of the jeans is a doctor’s surgery tool bag, several scalpels have been stuffed into it. One other scalpel, this one blood stained, is resting on the table next to the girl. She finishes checking all her gear before zipping up the bag, pulling it over her shoulder, picking up the scalpel, and heading to the door, pressing her ear to it.

OOG: Actually, at the beginning the zombies aren't attacking, unless you'd prefer them to be. A few are shambling ala Shaun of the Dead, but they look like ordinary junkies or tired people.
