The patrol was around five chariots and thirty separate patrollers. The first three notice incredible heat and growl. One of them takes out a strange rifle-like device and points it at some directions, then looks straight at Mace and calls out, "Right there!" By then, the first three manage to abort the effect somehow. The thirty lances are pointed at Mace and fire intense lasblasts, while the chariots fire three sets of spinning discs and two volleys of missiles.

"Eek!" Mace said in a mock scare. He flies up into the air, about thirty feet, expelling bursts of mana from his palms at any homing missiles coming at him. Once he finishes, or if there is none, he immediately goes to firing the same blasts at the chariots.

Amazingly, Mace moves fast enough to dodge the lasblasts, then fends off the discs and missiles with mana blasts. The blasts then streak towards the patrol. The patrol creates a powerful aegis-shaped forcefield that repels the blasts... for now. Unfortunately, the surrounding area isn't so lucky. Two buildings and a city street collapse.
The patrol next steps into a tortoise formation, using their force generators and large tower shields to protect them from all directions. Something can be heard humming...

Well, since it seems that people are so enjoying this Evil Universe, I suppose I should actually get on down and in it, shouldn't I? I guess I'll have Shae start off in a place like Tokyo. A really rich city full of rich bastards who have lots of things to steal, and possibly a challenge to steal them. Werd.

So Shae is looking to steal in Tokyo. From a museum? Or a corporation? Or the Yakuza or ninja clans? Or...

Mace didn't really know what to think of this, so he let his body fall towards the ground, braced himself against some pieces of rubble, and opened his mouth out wide. He tried charging up a mana blast, gathering mana particles into his mouth, then firing it in the direction of the tortoise crew.

Cutting through the debris, leaving melted slag in its wake, is one unified blast coming from the tortoise formation. It strikes Mace directly but does not pierce his defensive shields. Mace's blast curves around the debris and fires at the formation. The formation is shattered and the men scattered. Mace has more opportunities to press the attack.

Mulriple shots are fired from hos mouth at once, curving away from his mouth at first, then re-directing themselves towards the ground the powered-armours are standing on to knock them over.

The patrol manages to raise individual shields before the brutal crushing comes in. Four patrollers bite it.
Now the combat has changed. Five of the patrolmen leap into the air, held by rockets in their back, and fire down, while the chariots and the remaining patrolmen charge in, laying down a blistering wake of cover fire and preparing to battle in close range.

Mace lets go of the ground, letting his energy blasts force his body backwards, sort of pushing him along while flying at the same time. The energy bursts just give him extra boosts. He tries to direct himself towards one of the jumpjet patrol soldiers, stopping his energy bursts and tries to put the soldier in a headlock, wanting to snap his head from his neck.

OOG: Is he actually targeting his bursts? And what level of power is he putting in, in Tier terms?

|
Post by Mace Parshath on Feb 17, 2006 23:27:18 GMT -5
(He's not targeting. He's just firing them at random to push him along towards the soldier. And what is Tier?)

OOG: See the Glossary under Rules. Basically, Tier 1 is Normal, 2 Legendary, etc. 2.1 would be low Legendary, 2.8 high Legendary.
So he's turning around and firing, or putting his arms behind his head or back like a scramjet?
Hack? You can always ask for backup. Last we were strategizing as to how to deal with your simultaneous attack by U-Delver and the cops.

Brunnengus, Milkdrop, Jin, Janus, Baelstramus, Denios and Banos last night moved into the Evil Dimension, first killing a gun runner and an apartment complex then escalating to destroying Tenrei's militia, barrier generator and finally the planet and its accompanying sun. Now the team was moving on to Rifts Earth to kill away.

Mace rushes at incredible speeds propelled by his own energy, the soldiers slowly opening their mouths (at least from Mace's perspective) in awe and horror. The green flash behind Mace dissipates slowly, around a tenth as fast as Mace himself is moving, and he is suddenly behind them. Snap the neck of the soldier he targeted, and which soldier did he target?

The highest one in the air. Then Mace will spin around and fling the body at any one of the chariots, preferably the one directly beneath him. But only if there aren't any patrol men withing ten feet of him, where he'll instead spin to try and smash the dead officer against another, THEN throw the body at a chariot.

Mace grabs the top-most floating soldier, shattering his neck instantly. Is his throw just raw Str based or will he imbue a bit of additional energy into the body when he tosses it?

The body soon becomes a green sphere, the leftover remains being burnt away into pure power by the power of Kalaybero's heart. The chariots and most of the soldiers are killed. Mace has another action plus DIO.
OOG: This is one of the threads you can do while in quarantine. Same thing with any War Game. In any simulation thread or duel, you have full access to all your powers.

Mace looks in awe at the power, and decides to try something new. How many soldiers remain? He'll begin by jabbing his thumbnail into his right arm's (Kalaybero's arm) hand and causes it to form a circle. He'll use his blood to form complex charter symbols inside the ring.
The RSN will try a speedy assassination blow for one of the nearby soldiers. The Tzemke morphoplasms will cling to any electrical equipment they find to absorb the energy into themselves, becoming shock gels. The Red Dragon will fly down among the people, scoop them up, and just shred them to pieces with his claws or eat them. The Skrine will use its claws and run through the city, cutting people down. The Gar Herd will join the Red Dragon. Lasciel, talking enjoyment in terrorizing people, will cast out illusions of terror, depending on the groups' most common fears. The Mriswith will speed through the city with their vibro-claws and join the Skrine in cutting people down. Ysrael will inflict the Free-Elemental Stench upon the folks of the city, but a more natural scent that works on all species, and not just 'unholy' creatures.

1 chariot and 5 patrollers. Does that alter your plans at all?

Not at all. The charter symbols seem to float and form three-dimensional images, spheres, pyramids, etc. A 360-degree wave of charter fire sweeps in all directions, trying to engulf buildings all around. Within the flames are dancing symbols, similar to runes but more archaic and dancing. When a symbol lands on one individual, it'll stick and light them on fire. THe flames from the wave will then cease to attack that person to save energy and to save markings for other enemies. If an enemy is unlucky enough to get more than one symbol on their body before the flames pull away to seek other prey, they will erupt like a small bomb with a sudden rush of free-magic, tearing and shifting the human body into super-heated plasma, where it will then go for ten seconds before exploding with twice as much force as the last markings.

The controlled magic of the fire seems to lose its power as the flame engulfs the city rapidly. Mace is in an inferno even he can't control. Good side, though: Those dudes are dead.

Mace will teleport into the air above the inferno and watch the destruction. He considers his next target and considers goign and fighting Soul Society or even the UEG.

As he teleports, Mace finds himself slightly burnt. This flame is not simple in nature.
The military is astoundingly quick in their reactions. The flame is facing constant bursts of water... which is serving not to stop it so much as contain it, and direct it upwards at Mace. Worse, from above there are warriors, around two hundred, on wing gliders, and Mace is being pelted by artillery fire! The shots are beginning to punch holes through his barrier...

Mace will figure out the wound later when he sees a time for it. But he will teleport away from the city so as to not be near the flames. He points a hand up at the wing gliders and unleashes Subtractive Lightning, the energy meant to destroy, not burn. Removing things directly from existance and into the Underworld. Damages souls more than it does the body. The lightning will have a chain reaction effect and try to spread throughout the gliders. It's not conductive just to metal, but various other materials and flesh just as well.

This time, the teleportation costs him dearly. Mace is repulsed by the flames and hurled down into the streets below. At least it's gotten him away from the artillery. The gliders look from above, trying to find their target... [FN: 201 Dtct.]
