OOC: that "Her" comment better have been a typo, Hack is definitely a guy
IC: Hack turns and begins to slash downward, should it be anyone he knows he'll stop it if not well there's another corpse

OOC: Oops, sorry, I assume the feminine.
It is someone Hack knows: an alien superhero in New York named U-Denizen. For an infinitesimal moment, his hand is stayed, and in that moment, he is dragged into the ground with a viciousness. His ankles feel like they're broken, but that's probably false. When he swings, she is no longer there.

Hack moves first, striking with a powerful erupting ki blow. An earth formation comes up after some of the energy has already hit something (whether it hit its mark is something Hack doesn't know) and absorbs the remainder of it. Hack has another opportunity to attack.

So what, Hack will make a straight-down charge to where she is? Spend some turn ascertaining her location? Swing wildly? Spin at High Speeds/Whirlwind Attack to burrow down? What?

She.
Hack rushes down, Destruction forward, burrowing into the ground. Suddenly, Destruction refuses to move. Then it starts moving but without getting any ground, like a car stuck in mud. Hack pushes his machine so fast that the dirt becomes red-hot in his wake and the area becomes magma. Suddenly a vigorous fist pushes him further down into it, into the hardened area that his chainsaw is stuck in, warping his arm and cutting it on Destruction's blades.

Rage, Hatred, Unholy Strength, and lastly Deathmerge, destruction is removed from it's prison, the arm instantly healed (though no acctual hp regain) at this point hack slashes seemingly blindly, but you know with Hack's hatred he never misses .

OOG: A bit of protocol: I determine the efficacy of attacks or abilities and how many you can get done in a turn.
Despite Hack's new reserve of strength, his arm is still stuck.

Hack kiais and tosses a massive wave of earth at his foe. The shockwave is then redirected back at him and crushes over his body.

Hack produces an incredible amount of slag. Now all around him are burrowing stun bombs. Worse, U-Delver's earth control is used to create a sudden phase shift, using the heat to generate an endothermic reaction that freezes Hack solid.

U-Delver pushes Hack up to the street, where Hack is surrounded by fifty cops and twenty cop cars. A helicopter flies above. Five police robots approach, stun guns raised, one with a coring energy bond weapon, another firing a barrier around Hack.

You haven't won, obviously, but consuming that much power may not be wise.

OOG: Yes, and since you fairly well have the superhero community and the cops of the whole of New York pissed at you, you might be fighting constantly for some time.

OOG: Well, you won't level it immediately, New York and most major cities on Earth are built with materials and enchanted/protected with barriers to limit their destructability.

"Whootsie-tootsie-bobba-louie," Mace said half-heartedly. He wasn't in the mood for eccentric behavior, so settled with the quote. He looked at the leading power-armour and using his Luxomancer abilities, tried to intensify the solar energy around the first three, trying to super-heat the armour to the point of melting if possible.
