Anyone who wants to explore the seas of Tenrei can join Dr. Blammo here! Or those who want to surf can join Wyatt, Evan, Raysh and Laura Wild.
Dr. Blammo deep-dives and brings up eight pearls for Raysh's boys, who say, "Cool!" and "Awesome!", respectively. Meanwhile, Laura coaxes Evan and Wyatt into the Tier 4 rapids. The moment they step into the area, they are bathed with warm yet completely pelting rain, and an undertow rushes out underneath them. "It's coming, boys!"

Wyatt will smile happily "Oh yeah baby bring it on!" Evan will be frowning at this point "Wyatt something doesn't feel right, we need to speak to the Old guard after this, if not now." Evan will wait for whats coming and enjoy himself for the time being.

...What do they do in response to the undertow?

Evan will use his water magic to attempt to create a field affect to resist it and keep the crew safe.

The crew? And the area resists water magic.

Korg runs up to the shore. "What's going on here? I want me some pearls."

OOG: I meant that you can post to non-Vacation threads simultaneously, but sure, why not.
Dr. Blammo says, "I'm diving into the ocean. Want to come?"

"Well, I am a sea-dwelling creature. Why the hell not!"
Yes, sorry, but I saw this one had swimming in it, and I couldn't resist.

Dr. Blammo, sans any sort of diving equipment, undulates in his strange almost lazy wheeling fashion out to the sea, his bulbous head and main body falling under the sea.

Korg should try an amateur triple flip dive into the farther part of the ocean. For kicks yo.

Korg does so. He is now about a mile out. He sees Blammo below him, delving.

Korg follows him from a safe distance. He makes a mental note of where they started from, in case he has to teleport back in a case of an emergency.
"This is fun, but where are we diving to exactly?"

"I don't know. Why would I know?" Dr. Blammo sinks. All around them are splendiforous reefs, nourished by the planet's strange qualities. For dozens of miles an incredibly complex network of spinning and curling rings, slides, and so on forms, caves and veritable dungeons existing.

Korg takes a gander at the caves and dungeons. "Hmm...caves or dungeons..." he thinks to himself, "well, I haven't called mom in awhile...she deserves a visit in that cave of hers. I do love her plankton pie...but she talks way to much...a lot. She totally over explains things. Over and over. It's as if she'll never come to an end. Geez...mothers...can't live with them, couldn't have lived without them." Korg chuckles at his own wit.
"Hey Mr. Blammo, want to check out some of those creepy conveniently placed dungeons?"

Dr. Blammo stares at Korg and says, "You speak excessively." He then floats some random direction and finds a large submarinnean cave.

"Caves it is then!" Korg eagerly follows Blammo, not really wanting to be alone. But shuts up as to not be completely abandoned.

"...Why aren't you talking?" Dr. Blammo is a very strange bird. Or octopus. Dr. Blammo then says, "Wait. There is something of some size in front of us."

Hmm good point...I suppose Evan will attempt to use gravity to assist him in resisting the undertow...as for Wyatt..Im not sure what he'd do.

The area generally dampens magic writ large. You're supposed to surf.

OOC: I thought we are only on the beach still just looking at, starting to walk out into it. But if we're already that far...
Evan and Wyatt will swim with it, attampt to us it to there advantage to gain some speed and get up on there boards.

OOG: Remember when Laura said to head into the tier 4 rapids? Yeah.
How exactly?

...yes I remember now...so we're no longer ocean surfing then...are we river body boarding?

No, you are ocean surfing. But there is an artificial system generating a powerful set of currents, storms, and so on for your challenge.

Aww I see
We'll attempt to us it to break past the waves until we find one we like, and by using it, we'll let it suck us under the on coming waves then we will fight our way free of it to the surface to snag a good one.

The two break under the powerful waves, avoiding being dashed to bits by the powerful force. They are now riding three layers of waves.

The loops make carving not exactly the right strategy.

Awww.. wel what would be jumps? spins? Im not quiet grasping how the water is moving.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 27, 2006 1:49:34 GMT -5
It's three interconnecting loops of water.

Jesus....Then I guess it'd be best to just ride the waves to where it'll take me and just try to stay on the board...maybe they'll try doing a few loop transitions by doing jumps or something.
