And, just as a matter of protocol: What are you sacrificing to quicken your spell? Reliability, harm to allies, range, damage, etc.?

One of the creatures leaps forward, claw slicing across Ash's chest. Ash feels a strange sensation, as the creature seems to be emitting a constant hypnotic hum... and up close, it is revealed to be an array of sounds that sound like "Tao lumpa dao lumpa hao lumpa tao shen ren shen..." It is the constant chanting of the Tao magicians of the Outlaw Star dimension. This combined with the brutal assault causes Ash to let loose his Dark Matter early, creating an expanding field that prevents the next Dark Matter and throws a spinning kaleidoscope of black mystic potency... and the innocent will be engulfed by it.
Ash, in the confusion of the moment, finishes the Luminaire. The spell shield being passively created by their foes helps brunt the impact. The light fills the sky, which should act as a beacon for help... barring an anomaly, of course. This prevents him from acting to prevent his leakage. No matter the variables, Hinata is also harmed.

seeing the green light and sensing ash in trouble ashley will think to herself oh god dammit what the hell I thought you were the sensible one! will then teleport up to ash's position and upon seeing his attackers will teleport behind one of the attackers (one that isnt in ash's line of fire) and shift her arm into a chainsaw while hacking away at the attacker.

Ashley II F arrives after the assassins attack and is very much caught by surprise by the sight she sees. Whoever these assassins are and whoever they work for, they seem to combine an automata's strength and inexorability with a mystic's power.
Ash has his boomstick out but gets no charge or preparation for Let's Go, incurring any penalties.
Any attempts, abilities or skills that will be used to protect the woman from the Dark Matter? If she is even low Forbidden, she will die or be mystically and physically translocated in a comatose sense, and even if she is Tier 3.6 or 3.7 she will be horribly injured.

hinata will spring back to her feet (if she was knocked down) and rush over at full speed grabbing her by the wrist then use Katon Shunshin no Jutsu to teleport us to a safer area (preferably to where other ch members are if there are any there I will say to them "dont let her go anywhere this woman was attacked by itek's assassins and there still fighting ashley and I have to help them".

When performing the Jutsu, Hinata very quickly figures out that to go too far with the Jutsu risks having, thanks to the "white noise" being generated by the five automata, her chakra spirit disconnecting or other catastrophically bad events. Luckily, Ash's power is able to keep the Dark Matter stuck for just long enough that Hinata races along the edge of the exploding energy, her Byakugen keeping her safe, and grabs the woman. She is now a bit further from the action, but other CH members are not to be found.
The four remaining assailants act. One prepares for any possible incomers by creating a mystic minefield (Ash does not see it but Hinata does). As if attracted by the combat itself, Denios (a white/yellow demon, tall and broad, with nine great horns coming from his head and the smell of burnt ozone around him) appears, scarcely dodging the minefield, and launching himself with a strange eagerness into the automaton who is setting the minefield. He gores it, but the creature quickly lands a devastating blow. One's claw hands begin to spin and throw a simple barrage of spine-like shots, moving at x5 FTL, at Hinata and her charge. Another spins and disappears below the ground. The last breathes hoarily, and by the time Ash figures it out, he is feeling a horrible slowing poison take over his body. The spine-firing one swirls its other hand and a great ball of sheer cold erupts over its hand.
Ash F II and Hinata can go now. Hinata has 34% of her turn and must deal with the spines.

hinata will immediatly turn towards the spikes and away from the woman and use Hakkeshou Tenmaishin to defend against and push back the needles towards the user along with the chakra produced by the attack, if it seems like the attack will fail then hinata will grab the woman and attempt to dodge out of the way of the spines, if it seems like she wont be able to dodge in time then she will use her body to shield the woman from the spines.

Surprisingly, no chakra at all is generated by the attack. These things' chakra highways are bizarre: They resemble a mix between Orochimaru's corpse bodies, Kagebunshin, and golems. Some needles get through as they are on a widespread and the process of raising the arms took a bit longer than she expected. Her arms begin to feel cold and she begins to see points of chakra everywhere: in the air, in trees, etc. The needles are indeed thrown back, however, and the needles are driven in. The creature simply bends its head in a strange way.
The effects striking Hinata and the chaos going on cause her to not only get no turn of her own but also to lose part of her next.
The poison actually gets MORE aggressive, as it absorbs the incoming life power. The one you are behind is, oddly enough, the one Denios has gored. The creature tries to bend away but the wide spread still peppers it. A horrible thickness splatters over Denios, which causes him to vomit and seem to lose some strength in his muscles (Denios seems to be on cloud nine and completely ignoring it), but the creature stops moving, and whatever "dead" means in context it is certainly dead: its aura, electromagnetic signature, scent, etc. changes.
Suddenly appearing below all of you is a red shadow. A voice comes out, "I am your retainer, master." The red shadow awaits all of your orders: It is a master ninja. In addition, any other relevant DIO extenders (i.e. familiars, etc.) can go now.

"find the one underground and kill it or bring it back to the surface" turns to ash thinking to him in private "ash we need perform masters of chaos to take the rest down" and ashley will initiate the attack.
*masters of chaos is a dual version of our transgressive level blindside blitz.

when I do have turn then I will attempt to use umbrakinesis to pull "shadow" over my opponents eyes to blind them while moving into a protective postion in front of the lady while at the same time utilizing the byakugen to see any attacks coming from below and be prepared to use the replacment technique with the lady in case someone attacks her from an angle I am not guarding from (I.E. above or below or behind).

Ash does hear the message, but the information that he seems to get about where Ashley thinks the underground one is is decidedly at odds with the data Ash himself is picking up. Ashley begins it and Ash is prepared, but the technique will not be prepared until Ash F's action. The poison Ash is feeling is magic-suppressive, but more importantly speed-suppressive, which will make the Blindside Blitz much less potent (either Ash F will have to slow down or the two will have to risk the Tech not working). Ash has no turn to cast Quicken.
The woman growls. She pulls out an intricate green-and-yellow long pistol with a strange breach that holds long rounds apparently a little smaller than a soda can. Into the pistol she places a cylindrical object covered with intricate carvings and seals the breach, then presses the trigger. A red triangle punches its way through one of the automata, which disappears wholly.
DIO extenders, particularly the Red Shadow Ninja?

ash will be having his boomstick summon carbuncle (to give him and his allies the reflect ability) and having the chainsaw cast the highest level cures on himself, ashley, and hinata until otherwise specified. Ash will also have the ninja defend the woman and hinata from any attacks it can percive.

ashley will start up masters of chaos (slowed so it can be performed with ashley).
the boomstick will summon ifrit to protect the woman and the chainsaw will summon shiva to also protect the woman.

All right, since you two were relatively reasonable with the other stuff and since this would only give you a DIO # of 4 or so I'll allow it. The shotgun calls out to Carbuncl, but the creature does not show: The white noise is powerful. Ifrit is similarly stopped. On the other hand, Shiva and the two Red Shadow Ninjas do successfully move and work in conjunction to protect the woman.
The Masters of Chaos will only begin on Ash's next turn.
The automaton that was fighting Ash now spews flies from its mouth. These buzzing creatures swoop in constantly to assault, heading for weak points and open wounds, and try to get around the defenses around the woman: However, the general aura effect of everyone involved is stronger than expected, and the flies do not harm the woman. Explosions suddenly rocket up under everyone, and Ash F cannot dodge because of a wound she did not expect: the damage from teleporting into the white noise. Denios and Ash M are similarly blasted, but Hinata has a chance to parry. They feel very powerful. The one fighting Hinata leaps into the air and begins spinning wildly, creating a chaos wheel powered by Taoist magic. Hinata's Byakugen, especially owing to the random non-existent chakra she is now seeing, is almost overwhelmed. Finally, one leaps up over the flying Denios to try to impale his chest. Denios grabs it with a powerful eagle claw and throws it into the one attacking Hinata... but the two simply interact and begin spinning in conjunction.
Hinata, then the woman then Masters of Chaos goes off.

hinata will use pyrokinesis bend the fire of the explosions from harming the woman and the people guarding her (the two ninjas and shiva). If she cannot then she will use aquakinesis to take water from the river and use it to make a barrier around the same people.

Hinata does indeed form a powerful barrier, the earth rising in great jagged spires and solidifying to intense levels so that the explosions seem nearly to bounce off... but now the great spinning assault from above is coming and Hinata does not know how to stop it. Her white eyes involuntarily bulge open in anticipation of a vicious assault. (Your Red Ninja may go, but any other DIO extenders you had are now lost).
Masters of Chaos! Any particular focus in targets, usage of energies around you, modifications, etc. before attacking?

The ninja leaps up, shoving a knife into the incoming field of chakra and wind.... and is blown aside, powerfully, despite incredible experience. Though the attack slows, the ninja's failure indicates its incredible power.
Still waiting on the MoC, and that attack should clue you two in.
Song: You should also be thinking about DIO extenders. Things like summons, shadows, weapons that automatically attack ("Dancing", say), etc.

masters of chaos will center there attack around the two people attacking hinata (the ones spinning towards her from above) just attacking them all out with chainsaw and boomstick if the attacks dont seem to be having any affect then ash will activate his hyper beast form (pheonix) then start wailing on them best he can with his punches, (more palm strikes actually save for the illusion fist chronos has) kicks, (including chronos's signiture backflip kick followed by counter attack) wing strikes, (due to his flaming wings if I remeber correctly he has six wings) and just strait out gouts of flame from his hands and arms.
OOG: will my attacks in pheonix form be affected by the tome of flame due to the fire property of all of attacks.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on May 4, 2006 22:55:48 GMT -5
OOG: Yes, your fire power is improved by the Tome.
Ash M, perhaps due to greater preparation, performs his assaults, including modifications, flawlessly. Ash F is striking with great force, but despite the two's synchronicity, the force does not stop the assault, though it does pierce its threshold and stop the two from working together as well as possible. Some of the force spins them faster, preventing the attack from being completely sapped. The flame is thrown out laterally by the field, but soon forms a firestorm that crashes back inside, burning the poor automata. Ash F has more turn, but not Ash M.

sorry ash this is gonna hurt but its all or nothing now ashley will teleport in between the attackers and there targets while activating her eva (the smaller form) then summoning up all of her willpower and strength even beyond the point of concsioussness (note she will use enough energy to put her unconcsouss after the attack) to force as powerfull an at field around her to prevent the attackers from advancing after that she will thrust the field with all of her might attempting to propel them away from there targets.

OOG: Yes. I've been busy with school and such.
The sheer strength of the AT Field does eviscerate the personalities of all involved, except Denios (around whom the field simply warps uselessly... possibly useful data, given his demonic nature), and takes a lot out of Ash F, but the automata stop.
Your Red Ninja Shadow, possibly your Eva or books, etc.?
(Song: You can always plan your next turn.)
