OOC: A pure and good light in this twisted place. Also... I totally think that there should be an award for the first person to get Forbidden level or whatever 4 stars is on the forum.
IC: Their turns correct?

OOC: You're probably going to get first.
IC: Ty gets some turn first.

Tyler gets a glancing strike, amazing given the speed of the target. How will the team deal with the drills?

well Ty and Fred were covered by the barriers, Vash and Knives will shoot any that are coming their way with their pistols, and sephy will put the masamune to use, and attempt to bat them back at the character

Knives fends them off effectively, but Vash misses one and watches as it burrows into him, blowing up. (Remember: These are shrapnel sized, like a large nail.) Sephiroth fends off the explosions as well as he can.
The iceman accumulates a mass of cold and comes down with a overhead glacier punch on top of Sephiroth's head.
Running up the side of the building is a second assailant, an exoskeleton with drill bits seemingly sticking everywhere and a massive gun combined with drill. It begins to rev up while firing another of those grenades.

if Sephiroth can dodge or evaid he is going to dive-roll forward leaving behind a fire 3 for the ice dude to run into. Ty and Fred are going to attempt another combo tech when it is their turn as well

Sephiroth does leap to the side and summon Fire 3 again. However, the ice aura effect catches Sephiroth immediately and freezes him completely. The iceman forms a shield around his body. Sephiroth would have avoided the drill was he not frozen; as it is, he gets to eat explosion. Fred and Ty's shield is gone. And V/K?

V and Knives are going to unload into the Ice Guy and Vash is going to start unleashign a little bit of the beast inside him because he doesn't like the way this battle is going
OOC: Fuck... and Sephy is my highest level Character if I remember correctly... he's supposed to be the badass

Knives and Vash both hit directly and knock the iceman down. But I meant for their parry vs. the drills. Then your actual turns for other folks.

Vash and Knives already dodged and parryed the drills, Vash got hit, unless this is a continuation....

This is a second drill burst.

Oh wonderful, well they are going to try to dive uner cover somewhere.... anywhere.... where they will then do that attack on the ice guy
Fred and Ty will do a combo tech energy fluctuation to disrupt the powerarmor and attempt to melt its hinges with hellfire and such

Also, what of the people inside the room?

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 30, 2005 3:36:41 GMT -5
Vash succeeds, Knives doesn't. Luckily, Knives heals himself miraculously and succeeds anyways.
The drill man puts up his arm shield... watching as the arm shield is ignited by the Prismatic Flame. He then spends his turn putting out his body and spreading the flame. Luckily for him, thanks to the relatively low damage, he actually does so, after quite a bit of work.
The man in the room fires a full burst at Bon Duke.

Duke will fire back at the weak spot in his exposed neck. Aeris is going to hit that spot with her staff and Bruce will follow up by attempting to rip off his head.

...There's an open slot in the Hellbender armor?
|
|
|
Post by Ominai on Nov 30, 2005 3:46:54 GMT -5
The Helljumpers armor has nothing covering the neck, just a helmet that is mainly used for impact damage and slight bullet resistance, and then the armor is on the torso.

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 30, 2005 12:12:49 GMT -5
Wow. What an Achilles heel. Il Duce connects directly with it... and sees that the man has armor underneath the Helljumper. Aeris misses wholly. She swings again and this time not only misses but evokes a firing counter-attack.
Is anyone going to, umm, deal with the full burst going at Bon Duke?

|
Post by Ominai on Nov 30, 2005 23:50:09 GMT -5
I thought that the dude did a clip discharge on Aeris, when does he reload?
And, oops... I forgot to say that I wanted Il Duce to drop behind a couch when he did that... too late, no way to fend off the bullets now.
Does Bruce succeed at ripping the guys head off using the helmet's chin as a grabbing point?

He's firing his other pistol. And he has an auto-loader.
There's Bruce Lee, his action was open, he could find some way to absorb the damage.

Could he catch the slide of the pistol and rip it off backwards before the gun fires!?!?!
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Dec 1, 2005 0:04:19 GMT -5
Maybe. The guy seems pretty hot at hand to hand combat. Especially since he's in a Helljumper.
|
|
|
Post by Ominai on Dec 1, 2005 0:07:48 GMT -5
Well then, Bruce is going to kick at the guys head and while that is occupying him he is going to attempt to rip the slides off of the pistols.

Remember: The man was Minied. He's short.

|
|
Post by Ominai on Dec 1, 2005 0:31:17 GMT -5
Then I will fieldgoal kick the guns out of his hands, use that momentum to bring Bruce's other leg up and come down with both knees on the guys head.

The man has to move the gun... ducking down and shooting straight into Bruce's crotch. Bruce leaps back, only taking strafing damage. Bruce still manages to continue, dropping on top and making the man fall. The man fires a grapple and pulls Bruce through a table, pulling himself up and firing at Bon again. Bon by now has gotten out of the hot tub and is going into a reinforced safe room, while the guards in the room finally get a safe shot and begin firing.

|
|
Post by Ominai on Dec 1, 2005 0:46:40 GMT -5
Phew... Well Aeris is going to cast Cure on Bruce when she has a chance and Bruce is going to throw the broken bits of table at the guy's hands while Il Duce attempts an impossible shot, literally praying to God to make his shots true, and shoot the guns out of the mans hands.

You might want to actually, y'know, protect Bon Duke. He's going into the safe room.
