If that's the case, Brian will place Temporary Enchantment: Explosion onto his axe before striking!

Mario will look back and forth amoungst his allies as they stand invulnerable with one eyebrow raised. I think I just got replaced by an enchantment! Mario will activate Divine Might and then cast enspell-dispel while rushing in for a overhand form V style Rend Magic to the head hoping to disrupt its spell with the combination of his enspelled dispel and the rend magic attack.

As Brian charges in with his axe, the zombie attempts to grab him, its arms extending out of its sockets nightmarishly by a string of sinew. Brian easily chops through the arm and at the same time heavily damages two others. Now only two of the zombies can impede Black in any way.
Alexander produces a wall of blades to block Mario's attack. Even though Mario is invulnerable, the sheer force of the walls prevents him from moving closer.
Alexander again says, "Unum". It appears that it is double-charging the attack, knowing that it cannot harm them at the moment. The holding of the energy seems to be causing it to shake violently, and Mario gets a sensation from the Force that Alexander is now vulnerable to being destroyed by its own attack. Holding in the energy takes the remainder of its turn.
Fred and Black.
If Mario communicates his insight to Black and Fred, Mario can tell that they can likely destroy Alexander in one blow.

Fred nods, communicating his plan telepathically with everyone.
He's going to slip inside Alexander, passing through it using the fact that he is both fourth-dimensional (e.g. can step to the time when Alexander was not there) and invulnerable, then be inside of him. He suspects that inside is a holy maelstrom, but he should be immune to virtually immune (since as a 4-D being he takes half damage anyways and can step outside of time in an emergency). Once inside, he might be able to take it in to power spells; in any case, even if he can't, he can certainly cast something that will cause it to go into a feedback loop or otherwise harm it.
He hopes that Black, who can act before the zombies impede him, and perhaps Mario and Brian who aren't likely to be impeded by the zombies anyways, will do something to get that loop amplified. Maybe Black could seal any holes with heat or explosives, flash-welding with Gasoline Candle, or something in that vein. Fred reasons that a lot of his Draw Outs might make the energy outside higher, making it harder for Alexander to release energy into the environment and making the feedback even more likely.

OOG: If Fred's so damn great why doesn't he just take this thing down himself?
IG: While Black hears Mario's warning he is unsure what it means. Acting on his instinct he moves for a monuments blow believing the secret is to destroy the summon before it can unleash whatever energy it has stored.
Black tosses all the katana he possesses save for two into the air only for them to land in a circle around Alexander. Jumping into the air himself he draws one of the remaining two and throws it down ahead of him, perching atop it mid flight as it slams into the center of the circle upon Alexander himself!
Amidst the circle he draws the last katana he holds and in a circular motion strikes at them all. His intention to call upon all the spirits held within these mystic blades in one fierce go!

OOG: It's because it's like any other explosive: You want the energy on the inside to have nowhere to go so it cleanly blows. So you need to make energy inside but seal it on the outside. Fred and Black both have the ability to act and Black has a lot of tools to do damage from the outside that can help with the plan on the inside. Classic co-op tech. Also, do note that the reason that Alexander had to hold its charge in the first place was because of the reflection of the defense which was you and Brian.
IG: The burst of attacks upon Alexander create a maelstrom of multiple energy types, damaging Alexander evenly and severely. Alexander is very powerful, and it is not damaged enough yet to completely rupture; but Black avoids letting Alexander have any release valve for the energy and in fact seals off any holes.
With supreme timing, the Earth Thunder, Ice Drake and Infiltrator all form into spirits of Magic, helping Fred cast his spells. Meanwhile, Fred manages to slip inside Alexander. The storm of holy energy inside would have nearly incinerated him in a moment without the defense, and he still takes two hundred damage. Luckily, Fred has just enough time to absorb the energy flowing through Alexander and find a spell to cast. He uses an Empowered Annihilate, taking advantage of the massively increased TP regen inside of Alexander, the TP bonus from 4-D Transformation, the reduced cast time from his arcane torrent power, the TP and spell power bonus from the Gods of Magic, and having cast a relatively inexpensive spell last round. Using his 4-D power, he puts on his Imp, using Power Bolt with all of the energy it is getting at the same time. The combination of the Power Bolt and the Annihilate causes the summon to explode into a torrent of holy energy. The explosion destroys the zombies at the same time.
As the explosion goes away, Fred begins to transform back from his 4-D shape. He is deeply exhausted, and Mario can tell that the transformation is emotionally draining. However, he does smile anyways, as a Materia rolls to the ground. Black and Mario both feel a presence from within it that indicates a Summon, and faintly hear the voice of Alexander. There is also a Revive Materia, and a few Scrolls: A Scroll of Break Enchantment (designed for a Paladin) and a Scroll of Constrain Being (for an arcane caster). Brian sees that there are pieces of Alexander left, and these seem to be fascinating from an artificing perspective. Fred sees similarly that he can redesign his MagiTek powers with the Alexander castoffs.
Alexander still seems to beckon, especially to Mario and Black.

Brian keeps his mind on his objective and quickly scans the battlefield, searching for the woman that they had intended to protect.

Brian quickly finds that the woman slipped below some roots to where a large root system from a tree above made a very small cave system. She whimpers, practically catatonic in fear. It seems that Fred neglected to mention that she is an Azerothian Troll. She says, "T'ank you very much" in a very small voice, still not sure if you're here to kill her.

Trolls, why did it have to be trolls? Brian thinks to himself as he squints through his helmet slits.
"Arright boys! I found 'er!" Brian will yell back to the group, "Her appreciation is intact. Don't know 'bout the rest of her though." Brian will look back to the woman, "The name's Urist, son of Dan. We're 'ere on a search and rescue mission." Brian will extend his hand and welcome her out of hiding.

She extends her hand out and says, "Koh'wani. What brings you here to this jungle? You must be adventurers; no one else would get the spirits in their head to be here!"

Resheathing all of his katana in a flashy and intricate manner Black claims the newly dropped materia while exhaling in an agitated sigh.
To think I had to waste this much effort on a summon!..I guess when random encounters are your exercise you don't get to choose.
Seeing that Brian has already begun dealing with the hidden presence sensed earlier he will resume a laid back stance. Perhaps now with a lead they'll be able to find out what happened to the scientists.

As Black picks up the Materia, the voice speaks to them. It is like a booming presence that echoes in their soul more than an actual voice. Black and Mario hear it most profoundly, but Brian and Fred do hear it as well.
MY DEBT TO YOU, SOLDIERS OF EQUITY, IS NOT COMPLETE. I WAS SUMMONED BY A WOMAN. I KNOW NOT HER PLAN, BUT I KNOW THAT SHE SEEKS TO KEEP THOSE OF THIS WORLD IN THE DARK. PALADIN, ALLOW ME TO BLESS YOU. SAMURAI, YOU MAY SUMMON ME TO AID YOU WHEN YOU PLEASE.
Mario feels holy knowledge enter his mind, and receives a blessing from Alexander.
The group gets the sensation from Alexander that the Summoner who conjured him is not acting alone, and that this group likely helps explain what is going on, but more information will need to be revealed. They also get glimpses and flashes of the Summoner's companions, but they can tell that they will need more information to make sense of it.

JJ encounters no difficulty along the way. His cloaking ability allows him to avoid creatures, including a large monkey that seems to be naturally armored with bone plates swinging along the branches. He believes he sees a corpse hidden in some bushes alongside some other valuables, but he suddenly gets the sensation of being watched. JJ perceives a cloaked assailant, both physically and psychically cloaked like himself, sitting on a tree branch above him. The creature jumps down, holding its hands in front of it in a gesture of peace. JJ detects psychic energy equally his equal, but interestingly enough, he almost perceives two auras. "I mean you no harm, Protoss. I merely wish to ask you to help me stop a great danger to the cosmos".

The creature shrugs. The shoulder motions show supple and lean muscle, but also a somewhat aggressive posture. "I am similarly concerned that you can see me through my obfuscations. But let us not be dishonest with each other. I am here to stop a great danger. The men and women you are looking for... they seek to invade the plane of the gods, the plane above! Their hubris will reflect badly on all of us! You, Protoss, should know the danger of simple creatures with no moral fortitude and the restraint provided by the ancestors and faith". He doesn't seem to realize that you were once human.
