OOC: At this pint Id say the truck is going about 25 mph though the crowd of zombies, if they are as think as i think they are, that and i don't want to have anyone fall off from going too fast, If everyone go inside I could probably go about 45-50 mph, if not faster.
Ill have shit pickle take the wheel and ill lean out the window using a slug round from my awesome shot gun and nail it in the head.

OOG: I don't believe they were zombies, only corpses, unless I missed something, and I believe we are long ago past that.

On his turn Black will use cure on whichever Zu is more damaged.

OOG: the corpses were animated fred, and they go on for as far as you can see, so they might as well be endless hence the joke of black being prepared. You are running over fields of zombies, by the time you clear them at least a million will have been ground under your tires.
Fred pushes, tears, then holds the left side zu down, Joe cuts its entrails out. Quinn fires at its head which Brian subsequently cuts off with the cleaver (you cant use echo till the turn after you summon Venus and you cant attack and summon Venus simultaneously). Ray nails the right hand zu in the face with a slug from his awesome shotgun. Mario cuts its wings off with his zanpakuto. Black lands a critical with cure and causes the things head to explode with holy energy.
Three more land on the train one at front of the bus and one at each side (front will be referred to as Zu A, right is Zu B, left is Zu C). Zu B attempts to impale Joe with its beak, but Joes juicer augments allow him to automatically dodge to the left. Zu C critically nails Brian, his protoss energy shield is reduced to 2 charge. Zu A blows things into freds eyes with his wings inflicting blind upon him.
Your turns again.

With it's head still near me, I'm going to thrust Zentetsuken into the weakspot most birds have behind their lower beaks, where it's usually only protected by the soft undercoat feathers for flexability, trying to force it up to sever some major arteries and possible reach the brain. In order to help with leverage , I'll grab it's neck with my left hand.

OOC: what can i say? i was inspired! at the beak stab, Brian will let the shield take it, faithful that it'll hold up even to a giant zombie bird's onslaught, then venus sumon it in an attempt to knock it off this battle train saying, "OH NO YOU DI'NT!"

OOG: Ah. Well then. Also: Did my thorns defense activate against either the blind or the double Zu attack?
Blindly charging as a bear could be deeply problematic. His thorn defense is useful, but not sufficient to rely upon. He blinks, getting the crap out, while bear hearing and smelling his way closer to a Zu. The moment he has a good smell, trusting in his bear senses, he gallops in such a way that he can brake if he misses but still gets him good velocity for an attack and strikes the bird in the leg, finding a joint spot and ripping it open, taking advantage of hollow bones further decayed by rot to simply rip the creature apart.

OOC: That is amazing Brian. Black will rush up and try to hack into one of Zu B's wings (if its low enough) to try and take some heat off of Brian. If not low enough Black will instead use his LOW QUALITY SPEAR from his inventory to try and hit Zu B towards the base of one of its wings.

Ill will have shit pickle take the wheel again and Ill lean out again and use my an explosive round to fire at Zu As head, or w/e Zu Quinn wants me to aim at. Then Ill get back to driving.
OOC: The only reason Im doing most of the driving is not because I dont trust shit pickle its because I think human hands should be driving and not shit pickle in an emergency situation.

OOG: thats brilliant Brian give yourself a point for that. Fred your thorns are hitting but the damage has been insubstantial, since there zombies it does not do much except unless its a direct head shot or flat out destroys the body.
Joe its head is thirty feet up, how do you plan on hitting it?
Brian summons Venus which kills Zu C and makes it plunge to the earth destroyed. Fred runs blind, but manages to critically rip Zu B in half which kills it. Blacks target was killed but Mario moves over and starts channeling some sort of green energy in his hands. He then says to Black "Cast cure on my hands Black!" Quinn fires at the skull of Zu A, stunning it out of some sort of undetermined casting. Rays explosive round blows its head off killing it and sending it plummeting into zombies below.
4 Zu land on the top of the living truck, one on each corner Zu A is in the topleft, Zu B is top right, Zu C is bottom right, Zu D is bottom left. The flap there wings together to whip up a windstorm that picks up everyone except ray (since he is inside) slams them down onto there backs. You get the wind knocked out of you and loose half an action.
Your turns again.

Quinn will just roll onto his stomach and put the Bipod down and continue to lay down fire on Zu A (note: prone with Bipod is the most accurate position to fire from but I lack mobility except to roll around)

Fred moves towards the closest blur and slashes until he has two firm grips on leg or any similar muscle, then scissors the bone and joints to bring it down.

Brian echo isnt usable till the turn after the turn you summon.
Regardless the butchers cleaver lets loose an unearthly howl! Bloody abominations appear and spear Zu D, killing it. Zu A gets bullets in the eyes and into the brain, killing it. Fred rips Zu C in half critically. Joe nails Zu D and its cut in half as zantetsukens ability kicks in. Mario and Black are focusing energies together....
Six more birds come from above and land on the train. Trying to tip it over. The energy from Mario and Black explodes outwards disintegrating the newly arrived Zu.
Another Zu lands and rears back, throwing forth a dark breathlike weapon. Everyone is striken by bad breath and inflicted with slow, death sentance, silence, power break, poison.
Your actions.

Well, the cleaver hasn't done me wrong so far, so i'll use in once more! "take this you unholy abomination!" and i'll try to chop off one, or both, of its legs. I'll also (if possible) use mirage to make the land train appear to be on fire! hopefully daunting any new attackers.

Being Silenced means that if Fred detransforms he still won't be able to Cure or Healing Touch. So he charges around the arc of Quinn's fire and away from the blur that is Brian, roaring in rage as he swats at the middle of the bird, hoping that Quinn's fire and Brian's chopping will cause the bird to lean over enough to rip apart its chest.

Sigh....
Fred misses hitting the thing. Quinn critically hits the Zu and kills it. The mirage wards the other Zu off, had you had to fight them now you can tell you would have had to fight 25 altogether!
Mario is clutching his hand that fired the blast. Everyone is fairly injured and really really tired. "I think... I think that is the last of them guys, I hope its the last." Mario sits down fast on the top of the truck panting. "Still we should keep watch till were sure its clear. Even the zombies seem to be dispersing now, driven away by the fire. Your about a half mile down the freeway from auburn. The zombies are heading back towards auburn.
You can feel death sentence lift off you as the zombies fade.

Fred detransforms after a bit and whispers just loudly enough for everyone to hear, motioning for them to slowly walk closer to him, "Let's stay on top here just to make sure they don't follow us based on sound or something." He stays quiet until the zombies are out of easy visual range, then goes back into the bus. He cleanses his eyes first, then his battle wounds, then gets into bed. He yawns as he says, "Awesome job with the illusion, Brian, way to think on your feet."

Black sits, still on edge, but doing his best to relax a bit.
"Dude, mad props to Brian AND you dude" Black will say pointing at Mario. "Seriously...the experience points are nice but I am GLAD we're at least through them"
With that Black will breath out heavily and then flop down on the roof of the flatbed.

OOG: Yeah, MA New York zombies would have ripped the truck to pieces . "What experience points? I don't feel any stronger or more experienced, Black. Real experience requires training, work, years of honing skills to get a minor improvement. But that does beg the question: Now that we're out of Auburn, got everything we want from Best Buy... where to?"

"Thanks Black." Mario says as he follows the group into the truck. "Actually Fred I feel really accomplished, I figured we were goners!" Mario says as he flops down onto his bed after putting a towel down for the zombie gore that is still here and there on him. "We need a place to clean off too, where we headed Ray?"

"Accomplished and more experienced are quite different. Michael Phelps was accomplished when he got those medals, but not that much more experienced. And it was not luck that allowed you to be less harmed, Quinn, but an effective stratagem where tanks absorbed damage for you. Of course, the proverbial wipe or tank down or DPS race or battle for survival may be upon us. I vote to visit Davis to see what has transpired there. If Davis, Louisiana and Grass Valley are in all such a bad condition, then we may be fairly confident that most of the nation is problematic. Then we simply take a map and go to a Forest Service radio beacon. There should be some on top of the Chico Buttes and elsewhere. The radio beacon would allow us to listen and to broadcast all over the world."
