Although lets see forbiddens, for all Rain of blades (wierdo ritual dance than it rains down swords with power equivelent to excalibur) Commune with allies (all allies instantly know thier condition, they are unnaffected by Hacks Alien mind as others) and Shadow walk Rage Frenzy Anarchic Blade (blade changes shape and passes through most anything) Trainers: Vincent Hack Slash Razorblades (Hack's Bestfriend/Bounty hunting partner)

I like the Rain of Blades, Smithy had a Legendary spell Sword Rain but yours is more tribal. Are they holy like Excalibur, or just neutral? And there are also similar moves that conjure hammers, scythes (death effect), pitchforks (unholy), plowshares (holy), etc. Does Hack have Anarchic Blade and Rain of Blades as well? (Possibly Rain of Chainsaws given his weaponry...)
Slash may be a Contact.
But for the umpteenth time: I'm talking about HACK's classes and Flame Forbiddens, not your minions'.

Would the Reaper's Disciple be a combination of instant-death and death-damage attacks plus scythes attacks? And what Death God be?
Anything special about Pyre? Is it unique to him?
And did anything happen to Slash? Slash may be found an NPC contact, maybe an eventual PC...

|
Post by Vincent Hack on Feb 17, 2006 22:05:20 GMT -5
Slash will be an eventual PC once my friend is no longer grounded, and was put through all the same shit That Hack was Reapers deciple is sort of what you said and more, It is also sort of like Jesus was to God Death god, define it, nuff said Pyre, unique to Hack ifn ye don mind I need help with coming up with a few AOE's
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 17, 2006 22:34:33 GMT -5
So you channel the Reaper into you. There is an Omega Mentalist class, Reaper, that I'm sure Vincent is.
No, not 'nuff said. A class cannot make someone a god. Now, high enough skill in Death Walker and one gets a ritual to make oneself a death god.
What is unique about Pyre?
And I need a little more about what you want AOE wise.

|
Post by Vincent Hack on Feb 17, 2006 22:40:56 GMT -5
okay then, Death god, bit metaphorical, simply put I populate hell on my own, and I get metaphysical crap from The Reaper to do it
Pyre leaves nothing and has a wide Area but as with most proper AOE's it deals less damage as it gets closer to its edge
AOE's: the more destructive the better, preferably shockwaves, harder to restist
Reapers diciple = cleric equivalent Death god = BlackGuard equivalent

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 17, 2006 22:54:17 GMT -5
Only Hell? And that's more of Death's Servant.
So Pyre is designed to completely immolate, meaning it probably is an all-or-nothing.
I get that for the AOEs, but what class, Affinity, etc.? A chainsaw AOE? A meteor attack? Etc.
Thanks for the brief D&D description there at the end.

all layers, all forms no matter the religion, 99% of the population of these places are victims of Hack Tech, chainsaw shockwave

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 17, 2006 23:28:00 GMT -5
Okay, Death's Servant then. And no, no they are not. Hack is a minor figure in the modern constellation of evil.
A chainsaw when moving through the air would generate not just the normal wake but also a spinning wake from the blades. So an AOE could be a large 180 degree wave that is like a field of spinning chainsaw tornadoes.

bout' right yeah Death God, he may be a minor figure in the constellation of evil, but NO ONE can lay down a masscre quite as large as he can
hack's current kill total is 895,936,990, you know nothing of his "education" think of survival training on a deserted island, but survival against the other "students" and "teachers" and the island keeps getting Refilled once the population drops
was a book turned movie almost exactly like this, japanese and HIGHLY controversial

I hope you mean proportional to power. And even then Prototype 08 has an advantage over you.
Anyways: Classes? Other things you need to get done? And like the AOE?

well it starts out like deaths servant then as i gain power in the class it progresses to death god and yes i did
the AOE is cool Classes no further ideas but if your gonna add any more keep one thing in mind, Destruction

Have you seen the Class List? This may be your problem. For example: Cyber-Knight would be a class that would let you make psi-swords, give you advantages against technological foes, etc. Dragoon would give you horrible Tech/Magic-based AOES and jump attacks with your chainsaws. And so on. Go to Rules and check out Class List.
More AOEs? And title for that one?
You can become a death god or get abilities from death's servant for a ritual to become a death god or the ability to channel the Reaper.

Dragoon, sweet I can already channel the reaper, what do you think death merge is (though if you are refering to anything more subtle that i couldent tell)
now, if you don't mind, may I start a second character, this one is Dark Inferno he is also the manifestation of my affinity for AOE's, he could already be a member of Crashing heavans and aquaintance to Vincent i'll be getting back to you on further clases for hack
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 18, 2006 21:40:55 GMT -5
Yeah, nothing much more subtle than that, though Reaper Omega Mentalist Merit is different.
You can start a second character after sufficient Awards for ingame play. Alternately, Dark Inferno may have been locked away by a Colossus or could be gained as part of a Heaven/Hell Seed.

okay Hacks symbiont, i'm thinking something similar to a go'ould (stargate) but instead sits on my back tapped into my spine, Physical enhancement, repair, + major keen & int boost

Acctually being locked away in hell fits almost perfectly, he's a demi titan, son of chronos and a Lava child woman wonder if we could start up the Hell seed adventure solo, with maybe one of my trainers assisting me (please Tempus)

What does the symbiote (you're the symbiont) feed on? What benefit do you get?
So DI could be sealed both by a Colossus or as 1/2 of a Heaven/Hell character. Either post to Colossi or Spekkio Fights then. For the Colossus, you don't really need help, but for the Spekkio fight, I would recommend taking along NPCs.

the symbiont feeds on the brainwaves eminated when hack is feeling hostile, which is when ever he is consious (convienent) it also feeds on the pain emissions sent to my brain hence its location on the spine, thus as long as it is attached hack feels no pain it does not however consume pleasure/neutral sensations, it also telepathically communicates any immedeate danger as well as lend its extensive intellegence to me
it also is one of the few things unaffectd by hack's alien mentality
it also has some super adrenaline that it will occasionally pump into hack when it deems that Hack is in need of it
DI is relatively old, although ageless, he has been imprisoned for 200 of his 1000 years we'll deal with the rest when he is released
will Hack have his symbiote for the colossus fight or not, one of ogee's Biomancer contactes could make it for a 50% discount on all further organ purchases
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 18, 2006 22:10:31 GMT -5
All right. If the symbiote (YOU are the symbiont) feeds on the psychic energy and bodily stimulation of rage and violence, that probably means a) your rage is slightly reduced (but made more stable) and b) it will encourage violence when you don't need it. Pain emissions also work, which is nice, meaning that it does reduce pain, but it also reduces your ability to sense your own wounds (though it probably transmits conscious data) and will again encourage you to get hurt when not needed.
Hack will have it, and Ogee would be hard pressed to find much better than Zeradin and the other bio-wizards and biomancers on the team.

Post by Vincent Hack on Feb 18, 2006 22:18:47 GMT -5
i do all the drawbacks well enough on my own, and yes it does transmit the consious data, rage is acctually boosted because hack is given an adrenaline boost by it when he rages
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 18, 2006 22:32:23 GMT -5
In-game, the difference would be that now I would make a check to see if you would be prompted that direction even without your desire. And the adrenaline does make sense, but it does consume the emotional side of your rage somewhat, though that does also stabilize it (less unreasoning but more controlled rages).
|
|
|
Post by Vincent Hack on Feb 18, 2006 22:34:42 GMT -5
oo, that acctually sounds like a buff, not a drawback
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 18, 2006 22:36:31 GMT -5
Well, sort of. Part of the rage will be less strong. It's a tradeoff that's offset by the adrenaline not to mention other things you may get now or will get later.

Give me particular things you need me to enumerate. And remember, no small part of this game is fate, represented by me rolling dice. Sometimes even heroes just get unlucky. While surely your strategy could improve, it hasn't been bad by any stretch of the imagination.
Also, if you want to work out Forbiddens from the given classes, we can do that as well.
