ok so this battle everyone versus me.
init turn is mario, quinn, lox, fred, sera, black.
mario is standing 100 feet away from all of you you are in a line next to each other the line from left to right is lox, quinn, sera, fred, then black.
mario pulls down his goggles over his eyes and with his right hand pulls out and activates his lightsaber, then with his left hand he holds it out as an aura of black and red swirling energy surrounds his feet.

OOG: I'll hold back on the posting until others begin to commit to actions. And can we set aside turn to launch attacks on your turn?

OOG: you can delay your actions to react to one of my things such as "as soon as mario moves i use ...." so that the would happen during my action (but right after the specified action).

OOC: Didn't need force pre-cog. to see this one coming. ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) As soon as Mario makes a move of any kind *cough* teleports *cough* Black will draw his katana while dashing behind Mario and aim a slash at his exposed back.

OOG: Hey, man, it's good if he tries to hit us with an energy blast, and I would use anything but a pistol if, you know, my trainers gave me demon swords and so on. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

OOG: ill npc lox for a bit
lox starts to chant something weird as a few skeletal hands start coming out of the ground.
you all get a weird feeling as you hear "door!" however too late you realize that the sound is coming from above you black expecting him to come from behind you move out of the way however mario brings the blade forward towards lox slashing in a line from left to right its going to hit all of you.
lox dodges out of the way quickly by fliping backwards its still coming at you.

i'll dive forward/towards mario (if I looks like I wouldn't get hit when I'm doing this) out of the way and slash at mario with jeff and catch myself with my hand and feet so i'm standing/crouching.
If It does look like I'll get hit tell me and i'll change my post k

Fred will attempt to jump out of the way. If he can, or if the jump fails, he will use Prism Shatter on the lightsaber itself, hoping to make the lightsaber explode in his hands and/or to make Mario eat PS damage.

OOG: prism shatter does no damage and you use it on the the lightsaber but is does not seem to affect it.

Fred shrugs and says, "Energy attacks don't seem to do much, do they?" He prepares to fire his pistol or use his staffs instead.

OOG: Oh. Yeah, it's an energy attack. It's supposed to do damage, though maybe at my level it only does a little bit of damage or does a bright light effect and blinds an enemy or something.

OOG: no the way it was presented is it disrupts energy breaking it apart you said that later it gets a prismatic spray like effect but i never heard anything about damage.

OOG: Yeah, I thought I made clear it was an energy attack like Prismatic Spray, the D&D spell which is like Prismatic Shell but made into a damaging attack: I thought the reference would help, but it only seemed to obfuscate ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) . Sorry about the confusion: It shatters ambient light, creating a spontaneous, light-speed damaging energy attack spread out in a conic-like fashion, which is why I thought it cost so many points. Imagine someone holding out their hand, the light momentarily dropping in an area is white is split into the colors of the rainbow from red to blue. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow has the trajectory of how shattered light operates. Damage-wise, it is pretty good: Shinken has more piercing power and intensity, but Prism Shatter has a nice energy spread. Over time, like Prismatic Spray the shattering into distinct colors makes unique forms and powers/damage types possible, but that'd clearly not be the case at the moment.

"Damn!" Flames burst from Black's katana as he braces for the blow and readies himself to counter-attack with a slash to Mario's right shoulder.

OOG: no i made it that many points because the ability to break down energy is very good making it into an attack would cost much more points.

OOG: Ah. Well, it is L. 2 now and I can certainly invest even more points into it, so the ability as actually enumerated should be within my grasp. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) If it's a problem, add in energy leaks or expensiveness, put in a high ambient energy requirement, or eliminate the reflection power for now (or make it only for strictly speaking light attacks, which would still mean I'd be set here ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ).
