So, same inquiry as everyone else: Arena? Special rules?

Perhaps a jungle or something? Plenty of hiding places for both.

Sounds fine, any special feature? Maybe on Endor?

Crash Fox first. DIO or no?

Umm...Yes, DIO, I guess, haha!

The battle begins unceremoniously: Cutting through the leafy greens, sawing down branches and ripping through trees, comes a massive kunai. [FN: Str 141, Dam 282]. Zenexoria may parry or dodge.

She'll dodge, and activate one lightsaber to ready herself for another attack.

Dodge how? Simple sidestep, jump, burrow...?

Jummmp.....onto a tree branch. Yes.

Which lightsaber are you activating: Voidess or something else? And what configuration will you be holding it in?

She'll use Voidess first, her hand holding the hilt so that the blade points behind her, not in front. Backwards, I guess that's another way to say it.

I like that description. How far out: Regular lightsaber length?

|
Post by sithofmacabre on Jan 14, 2007 2:48:37 GMT -5
Um....how about half a foot longer, just to be a bit deceiving?

No problem.
The kunai shreds past Zenexoria. The collapsing trees explode outwards, spreading wood energy that alters the tree Zenexoria is standing on! Bark and plant matter form around her feet and then spike up around her. The kunai turns back around, manipulated by metal energy. Zenexoria can attempt to respond... Lucky for her her lightsaber is behind her, as the kunai is coming for the intersection of her spine and neck from behind...

She will flick her wrist to shift the lightsaber blade up to block the kunai from the targetted area, while attempting to scan through the trees in an attempt to find her opponent, also sending out a wave of the Force to try and sense him as well.

Voidess extends and collides upwards. It continues to pull the metal-elemental charged kunai up into the air, finally throwing the powerful weapon straight up into the sky. Zenexoria felt that the attack was quite powerful and has new respect for Crash Fox's strength. (BTW: It's a "her").
A wave of golden power erupts at Zene. She can parry it as well.
The scanning'll be done on Zene's turn.

(Sorry!! >< Replace all "him"s then)
She'll parry the golden power by flipping Voidess back down, and keep herself actively moving through the trees via wall-jumping the trunks.

Zenexoria jumps away from the wave, which does not harm the surrounding environment whatsoever.
Now missiles rocket at Zenexoria. Zene seems ready to defend against them... until they turn away and fill the jungle area with massively more trees, trapping Zene in a gigantic field of brush, branches and brambles that faintly glow. The Sith Infiltrator and HK-7 finds themselves feeling battered by... something they can't identify.
Zenexoria feels herself oddly becoming stronger! [FN: Unstab Mutat].
Now origami cranes peck at her. She can respond.

She begins to grow a bit tired of the odd game of hide-and-disable-seeking, slicing at the cranes once with Voidess out of irritation.
Could she use one of her Forbiddens--the Spider Web Flower III?

Voidess cuts apart the cranes. When sliced into pieces, they are energized, burning away as Celestial Calligraphy. A spell combination effect explodes and harms Zenexoria.
Yes, she could, what would she use it for?

Oh, well, she WAS gonna use it for the cranes Never mind! I don't know what I'm doing anymore :3 ehe.. She covers her face with her arms to protect her profile from the explosion, cursing before moving out of the remnants of the explosion, checking her injuries before jumping onto another tree to double-check with clearer vision. As she does so, she keeps balance on her feet to prepare for any sudden need to jump in any direction, holding Voidess behind her--the blade pointed upwards again.

Gleaming white orbs appear in the distance, and part of the area seems to acquire a grass-land like tone. Coming from the grassland, white-armored knights with jousting spears rush at Zene. Two lances are jutting at her, one from her front and one her left flank! [FN: 180, 123]. Zenexoria can parry this, but adjusting for the fact that, coming from behind, laser fire is striking her!
|
|
|
Post by sithofmacabre on Mar 20, 2007 19:52:47 GMT -5
She'll parry the lances via blocking the front one with Voidess--swinging at it like another foe's sword, and jump-twisting..ish? to the back right to avoid the lance from the left--otherwise, she'll either attempt to duck the laser fire, or just take it. Better that than a lance running through her!

|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 23, 2007 2:36:28 GMT -5
The lance gets through the Voidess swing through a high speed thrust, which sets up the next shot. Zenexoria feels two holy strikes and takes some extra damage. Laser fire also strikes her.
From a distance, Zenexoria feels two simultaneous yet opposing effects happen: Her internal gravity, weight and density REDUCE in such a way as to make her effective Strength plummet; meanwhile, another set of those vectors INCREASE so as to turn her muscle mass against her! Immediately thereafter, a gigantic drill around which many other drills are spinning is sent at Zene, clearly designed to do multi-attack. Zene can block.

She'll block by spinning Voidess to repel what she can, while keeping herself moving (unless the reversing of her strength advantage makes her immobile, then she'll sort of..ground herself). She still attempts to find Crash, growing more agitated in the process as she could not trust her eyes to do so.

Spinning Voidess for a whirlwind is an effective tactic for a mid-range multi-attack, but this is simply an overwhelmingly multi-attack. She isn't quite immobile, especially since all she needs to do is move her arm somewhat. She gets hit repeatedly! [FN: 39/51 Zene, 291/279 CF].
Crash Fox's RSN seems to anticipate that Zene's going to want to know where Crash is. It uses its Mass Blinding, which is massively effective [276/282], blinding everything but Zene's currently hidden Sakon/Ukon twin! It then launches a sparkling dust, the Dust of Delirium. This is markedly less effective [42/48], and Zenexoria's senses are not tricked.
Finally, a rock trap underneath Zene, obviously made by a Digger, helps trap her! She also sees homing missiles coming in from many directions. They are slow enough that she can respond to them on her ACTUAL turn, which begins... now!
