The library is currently being minded by a service robot. It says, "Greetings, Eh-van. What writings do you wish to peruse?"

I repeat what Xeno told me to look for.

"Dimensional mechanics. Do you wish all books and papers of this designation?"

"Personally I'd like to be jacked in and have all the info just downloaded to into my brain to save me time, but since thats not possible...yeah I would."

"That is an available option, but your storage capacity would be exceeded. I cannot proceed. Do you wish to select a particular tome to do so with?"

"Good lord...there that much knowledge......is it possible to compile a solid overview of the subject, the fundimentals, basic structure..and advanced formula...into something i can store?"
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 23, 2006 4:26:47 GMT -5
"Insufficient parameters. High advanced formulae would be beyond your storage capacity."

Evan ponders a moment "Then the fundimentals will have to do..for now.."

"Insufficient parameters. What are fundamentals in this context?"

Evan glares at the robot a moment, "May I see a few of the books please?"

"Yes. Sorted how?"
Post by Ainsophaur on Feb 23, 2006 4:57:16 GMT -5
"From the most basic to the most advanced."

It nods and arranges the works in order. Oddly enough, the books move from small introductory manuals to incredibly large tomes and papers to small almost Rosetta Stone-like documents.

I will ask the robot "In the least advance, which books give the best examples, and give the best foundation work for the study of dimensions?"
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 23, 2006 13:43:12 GMT -5
"...All of these are books about dimensions. Some of the later books focus on more specific qualities. The early books are introductory reads for children. Insufficient parameters to quantify 'best examples' - search by critical review, or do you want my opinion?"

"Hypothetically....lets say I understood dimesions at the most basic of levels. for example "Another dimesion is a paralle universe to our own"...I want to learn how they work, how to move around from one to another, how to track someone moving around from one to another...and how to find people and objects in other dimesions effienctly..now in your opinion, which books would best suit my needs?"

The droid makes a strange high-pitched sound. "Sorry, I have been playing a bit of a -joke- at your expense. We librarian droids can be a bit more helpful than this. You asked for basics of dimensional travel. The most informative book to my programming, and obviously yours is substantially different, is Holly Klar's description of the dimensions. Fonx-Nitte t-Ren-Mo-756 and Professor Wallace Hermann have written the more advanced works. For dimensional conveyance and travel, see The Wanderer's account. It is written from a psychic perspective."

Evan smirks "Perhaps you wouldn't mind hearing me out, about my "sobstory" Im looking for someone, whom died...and was reincarnated in another dimesion, and possibly in another time. So basically Im doing a cross dimesional man hunt, would it be possible to have a compelation of information pretainning to my needs on these subjects?"

"I have no preferences, I simply run the library. This would be the relevant section, unless you wish this unit to bring you fiction and non-fiction on detective, bounty hunter and other manhunter works."
Post by Ainsophaur on Feb 23, 2006 18:30:56 GMT -5
Evan thinks for a moment "Accually...I'd like all the works im about to read to be non-fiction, and I would like a few books, probably How To books....on manhunting, bounty hunting, cross dimensional bounty hunting...."

The droid nods. "Non-fiction excluded, all instructional books on manhunting, bounty hunting and detective work, with a focus upon interdimensional tracking." The robot adds a second gradated stack of books, with the same size bell curve.

"Is there anyway to implement all that into my head without going over the storage maximum? Maybe a summery?"

"Abstracts of the technical material and how-tos will suffice for everything below the Tier 4 mark."

"Excellent, can we implement them directly into me so i can save some time?"

Your storage capacity is full with the dimensional stuff.

Ill goto the robot and ask "How i do get more storage space?"
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Feb 24, 2006 2:45:01 GMT -5
"Your storage capacity is determined by your innate cybernetics and/or biological brain. You must form more neural pathways or otherwise improve your intelligence for more storage capacity."
