Jess will look at the bar. Frown, being hungry as it is. "Why?" She'll move best she can towards the bar. Stop before reaching it, look at the armored one and wait for the responce to her question.

"Okay, 'why' doesn't count, it's not a fair question, but I'll answer it, you know, as a test run. Because little girls should eat. Because it is my job, do you know what a job is?"

The big one says, "Trust is that feeling you get when you come close to someone and you're just looking at their face, because you're not scared of anything else. It's when you turn your back to them without having to look back. It's when you tell them a secret and you know it'll stay with them."

Jess will just look at the big one, then back to the armored one then back to the big one shiver a bit "I don't know what a job is, it's cold, and Im hungry."
ooc: I'd imagion being a bit paniced, and just leaving the pool. She'd be cold, probably hungry due to the fact she just had food dangled infront of her face. Also which of he two look more imtimadating, I mean organically. The large one, is it a massive hulk to ugly and spikes? And the armored one...does it look like a bunch of humaniod metal?

OOG: Remember that you have no context for what intimidating is. Different things and people scare different babies. All you've known is these two. The more intimidating one is the winged one, though. She is hungry, but Mirror People really don't get very cold, and since the area outside seems almost tropical at the moment, she's actually feeling pretty good. There is the cold effect of the warmth of her birthing pool leaving her, of course.
The armored one tosses over the bar and some soft-looking furling things and says, "I'm Relan, and my partner here is Dajess. If you feel bad, try putting on those things. And a job is something that grown-ups have to do so they can get food and clothes."

The winged one holds the girl closely yet softly, strange given his incredible strength. The winged one says, "She doesn't have a guardian. We'll need to..." "We can just adopt her, cut down on the paperwork." "What I wonder is how she's so strong!", the man says in a warm and comforting way.

A name dances at the far outskirts of her recollection. Many other associated images, of a forlorn and apologetic red-winged angel, of a righteous warrior with a white cape and a glowing white sphere around his body, of a stern and tall friend of hers, come to her, but all that comes from a name is, "Je... Bl... Da..."
Relan whispers, "She must have died before she could give her children a name. Terrible..." Dajess says, "Okay, so we can give you a name or let you pick one."

OOG: Yes.
Upon the reiteration of the word, that strange feeling of deja vu reemerges, and the word "Jess" falls from her lips. Relan says, "Jess? That's a human name. But it's very pretty. Do you want to be called Jess?"

Jess sees a strange (why is it strange to her?) set of flora and occasionally fauna. There are those fern-like things she saw before, a curling yellow plant, a thick and dark green tree, thickets with a Holstein pattern in both brush and berry, things in the air with craning necks and pouch-like yellow beaks and fur, and so on. A number of men in white uniforms with a black center, buttons neatly pulled together, walk up to the cave. They walk inside of it, and there is a sudden hubbub of activity, scratching and flashing lights and fervent talking.

Dajess says, "See, when something bad happens, we come. We try to find what happened, we look around, we write down what we think, and we try to find out who did it so the people who got hurt by it can be happy again."
