Well, given that the person you're talking to is a fucking jack, and you're a lotus, and I was speaking about them as moving and sentient, I figured you would notice that the people of the first universe are all odd shapes, not humanoids.
I thought you were heading to Caduceus. That's the address the ball is set to.

Daedrous walks through streets that, now once empty, are slowly "bustling" with life. The shapes of the organisms of the First Universe are again shadowy and non-descript, and clearly a generalization or simulacrum of limited accuracy. The ball continues to fire its light in a direction up, to the left and some distance away, though Daedrous continues to feel that the space that he is in contains more dimensions and other reasons why they would not use maps. He still finds it difficult to move, but he does so at a relatively slow clip. Unlike the hustle and bustle of a human city, this motion seems orderly, everyone knowing what they're doing and going on a geometrically determined route to get there. There is no "bumping" and no one shouts at Daedrous for moving too slowly. The feel that is communicated is of a civilization of high culture, perhaps something like Athens.
Daedrous finally makes his way to a gleaming white tower. The ball's orbit is sharply circumscribed and the intensity of the light has declined. This must be the residence of Caduceus.

Knock on yonder door.

Coming from inside the door, a sound-that-is-not-sound (just as the light that the ball creates is a light-that-is-not-light) can be heard, but it does not vary even though the creature is "moving". "Oh ho ho ho, what do we have here... Daedrous the Mad, Daedrous the Pure, Daedrous the Lost... Do so come in, this may be a challenge..."

"I am a doctor. Doctors must know their patients. Indeed, it is best for them to love them unconditionally." The structures here are strange - not built so much as... existing, as if they always had. Change here seems not only impossible, but non-existent. The 'door' swings open. Inside, on the first floor, is a set of furniture, and a sign that reads in a strange language that is somehow 'translated' for Daedrous to read something similar to 'Diagnosis Room.' It seems each tier of the tower is a place to do a different function. "What is your problem? Or do you not know?"

"Ah. So you are of the mad. Or perhaps we are all mad, haha!" Daedrous is noticing: the memories here believe themselves to be really existing. He won't get much headway by discussing the end of the first universe.

"Hahahahahah, you miss my meaning. None of us can decide the fate of this universe. It is an expository meeting, where we decide what to do with the facts Tyrant has uncovered." When asked about Marella, his color turns pink. "The most radiant creature of all of us, in my view. She is our greatest artist."

At this moment, you're finding it hard. Spirit journeys are very harrowing. "I know. That is why I am so fascinated, I must study away! You may hold the secret to 'curing' millions! Ancient, hmm? Most call me young, but to each his own, hehehehe."

OOG: Well, no, there can't be. This is a memory. And as Daedrous is beginning to figure out, the people Paternos knew will behave as they would then. Tyrant wasn't believed, Daedrous won't be.
"And people think I am mad! But tell me: Will this destruction occur within the next, oh, tertiary time-unit [roughly equivalent to an hour]?"

"I doubt he did. I am a medical specialist, and I refuse to let an opportunity to heal many people pass me by." He begins filing through horrific-looking bladed items. "I will move aside part of your matter temporarily and see your core. It will be unpleasant, but I have an apropos distraction from the unpleasantry. As long as you can cooperate fully, I will be able to analyze your insides, run some tests, experiment, and put the piece back in."
