In life, he was the prestigious Admiral Botta, commander of twelve of the finest (in his view) Imperial Mark II class StarDestroyers in the Emporers fine fleet. Now, standing before Ogre, the man still commanded the prestige and respect he'd held before he was pronounced dead by his empire. A fire seemed to well up from within him, his eyes pierced Ogre's ability to immediately reject him. It only took a few... incidents to encourage him to stay away from the living dead.
"I'm sure you've thought about how I stand before you today, Captain." The Imperial speculated.
"Not really, Do not underestimate my eyes and ears, or it might suit you sourly" Ogre bluffed. Botta stirred, half indignance and half uneasiness.
"It would fit you to seek out your adversary" He grinned confidently "I'd imagine you wouldn't accept my death but by YOUR hand." he scoffed
"Yet you came to me, Admiral" He added, mockingly "I'm not stupid enough to disturb the fallen."
"Enough of this, Pirate!" Botta's face now red, "will you hear me...or not?"
Ogre said nothing, only rubbing his thumb and forefinger together slowly.
"Ah, money, the blood of the pirate. I can offer you fifty thousand in Imperial credits and ten thousand of the rebellions trinket coins, collected over the years"
Ogre didn't buy it for a second. "Fifty THOUSAND?!? You have to be braving a Tatooine heatstroke!" He bellowed. "Eighty thousand."
"I was only given fifty for my....dissapearance, and-"
"Who pilots those twelve deuces now, Botta? Commands those men? A better man, I presume?"
"ENOUGH!" He shouted, red in the face. He calmed himself and sat up. "Eighty thousand, and take those damn rebel credits off my hands as well."
Many years of bartering told Ogre thatwas about as much as he would get from the man. Not like that 'republic' currency would ever become a profitable investment, but it helped to have a bargaining chip stashed away. Ogre nodded, indicating Botta to start talking.
"My loss...was great. The greatest loss of all was... the Nautilus, my...flagship..." Botta gripped the handrest of the nerf leather chair until his fingers and knuckles turned white, "my crew, my men, my power. And as it was, it was sent to Halanit, a lone sentry on a frozen planet for my mistakes...I want you to help me take her back, pirate."
Ogre almost leapt from his chair and stifled an unbelieving laugh. "You're a nerf herder, an absolute nerf herder! Go up against a Mark II with my Raven? I won't send my men to their deaths, ever."
"Neither would I want you to destroy my ship and crew. I've pulled...somefavors. Basically your gravity well projectors will pull the Nautilus from space, then I will send my coded signal that only my men will detect and decode. The signal would tell them to evacuate to the secondary command deck. All that's left after that is for your men to destroy the primary command deck and remove those bastards from their too worthy seats. After the bride is down, I will command a cease fire and board my ship." He said, lookingevery once and a while through his explanation for the pirates approval.
"One problem still exists. My ship would still have to stand against a Mark II Deuce." Ogre said, sitting back in his chair.
"I told you I pulled some favors. Out of your sensor range is a Victory-Class Star Destroyer that is capable of decimating your ship."
"I trust them already"
"Admiral Zen is a close friend of mine, and would pay his respects for his dead comrade, as homage in his passing."
"How do I know that once you're back in your deuce that you and your close friend won't blow me out of the sky?"
"Admiral Zen will be your sheild during the capture, between you and the Nautilus. I'd have to fire through him if I wanted to destroy you. A Victory-Class packs a punch, but you'd be able to jump to hyperspace before they even powered down their sheilds and revert power to their lasers."
Ogre nodded.
"We have no desire to destroy you. And I...I would be in your debt if you would help me. Reconsider my view of...your kind, even."
"Don't move too fast or you'll hurt yourself, Botta." sarcastically
"This is no joke, Pirate, Wh-"
"Ogre. It's Ogre."
"...Ogre. When I steal the Nautilus, the Empire will want my head...I think a change in ideasis in order."
"Allright. Credits in advance...if my crew is up to it. Go back to your Deuce and turn your comlinks off. I need some privacy to talk to my crew."
Botta did so and Ogre flipped on the comlink. "Allright men, we have a biggie on our hands. Anyone wanna try to take a Deuce? 80 thousand credits in it for us..."

"What's the division of credits for each?" Aesati pursed her lips together, cracking her knuckles with her legs propped up on an unused area of her dashboard as she spun slightly back and forth in her seat. "There better be a damn good chance of us getting through this fodder."

Muhgur remains resolutely silent, apparently not even wanting to grunt, simply nodding his assent. Andrax is much more stentorean. "Why should we help Imperial scum who thought nothing of being commanded by Sith butchers regain their ships?" Muhgur mutters something, "But if Empire is bad, would this hurt Empire?" Andrax is stunned by her Gamorrean companion's sudden show of logic. She seems silent for a moment, obviously letting others speak for the time being.

Krace is intently praticing his forms of Echani hand fighting going through each movement and thinking 10 forms ahead of the current form
A voice over the shipboard com crackles to life
Krace stops his movements and listens intently.
"I say take it, we get the chance to take an Imperial ship out, we need to show our power and you know it captain, let the Imperials fear us"
Dal Krace hasn't gotten on well with most of the crew seeing most as mercenary scum, he feels Ogre deserves his respect, he has yet to see prowess from other members and for now treats them with a cold demeanor.

Ogre thinks for a moment. "All right, men, We're going to take it, if not for the initial payment. If it gets too hot out there, I want you to cut back to the Raven. I'm not gonna make you risk your ships and lives for some nerf herding bantha like Botta. One things for sure, after this one, if we make it out as planned-I'm planning on using my cut to make sure the Raven is something to be feared." He cut the comlink and gave Botta the signal of acceptance, two green turbolasers firing directly upwards, the energy surging and dissapating.
The Raven entered the Halanit system, and Ogre looked at the white planet. A weird feeling of Deja Vu swept over him, but just then Botta cut in. "Listen....Ogre, my Nautilus will be just returning from the Kuat Drive yards after a fresh conditioning and refueling. My men (OOG: again, referring to the Nautilus crew) have been discreetly notified. If you could power up your gravity well projectors and pull the ship out of lighspeed before it reaches the sensor range of the planet, we should be able to correctly intercept her and go on as planned." He paused. "As soon as you power up the projectors, Admiral Ulrich will make a short jump to your location and pull out right before you."
"I follow. What do you want my men to do?"
"This must be surgically operated, or my ship will be too heavily damaged to repair alone. I need your fighters to disable the enemy turbolasers and ion cannons with their own ion cannons, then take out the main command bridge with whatever they've got."
"How will they get through the sheilds?"
"Admiral Ulrich will punch holes in their sheilding with lower powered turbolaser blasts, and this will provide the windows of attack."
"You got it. Ogre out." He said before switching the comlinks off. "Allright men" He announced over the ships comlinks. "Time to do what we do best. Take the luck you have and shove it right up Destiny's ass!" He said happily and ordered the gravity well projectors to warm up and the hangar bays to be opened.

Andrax does not suffer being ignored lightly. She considers that two members had expressed skepticism, one member had shown some interest, and yet Ogre was going to take it. She sighed and pondered that, as a Force vacuum, luck was not on her side...

Aesati dropped her feet to the floor with a ready sigh, looking up into space through the windshield. "The Imperials aren't the simplest bunch. Betrayal, traps and deception could lie in store for us." She grinned a little. "But such is the risky life, I suppose."

As all the ships vacated the Raven, Ogre looked on with intrest. The lambda and Z'cepter were behind, two X wings at the front and a Tie interceptor at the right side. Moving in a tight formation, it looked like they knew their ships, but not each other.
He was torn from that thought as a white spear of death technology ripped into realspace before him. The gravity well projectors strained but held the ship in front of them.
"Allright men. Shields to full. Fire the guns until our savior arrives and make sure to keep an eye on our boys down there." Ogre said as he watched the crew.
Alain had just finished his combat preperations when the massive white spade appeared from nowhere. He saw the Raven open fire, watched the green beams caress the sheilding of the Imperial warship, and then he saw the return fire. Startled, the Star Destroyer just boadsided the smaller ship, firing Turbolasers as soon as they were in a position to hit the ship. Blue ion bolts thundered and threatened to collapse the stubborn sheilds, and it was then that he heard R5's tooting and whistling. He snapped back to reality, like everything had gone mute but the sounds of the ships fire, but the chatter on the radio and the howling sound of enemy TIE's seemed to hit him like a bad dream. He banked right, avoiding the dual laser fire and cutting in front of Aesati and pulling behind her for cover. He thought quickly , the swarm of TIE's threatening to consume them. "Andrax...is your ship up to a little heavy maneuvering?" He asked happily, pulling out from behind Aesati.
If the Star Destroyer kept up that fierce of an assault against their Raven, the ship was sure to be toasted. Their reinforcements late, Alain did what he thought was right to pull the important fire off their home. He darted up and close to the star destoryer, his sheilds absorbing a few lucky shots. He juked and succeeded in drawing some more attention. His two Comrades, comfortable in their X-Wings followed suit.
A wing of TIEs suddenly shuddered and followed the deserters, leaving the rest of the group to give some breathing room. Obviously this commander was not below sending his own men under his own guns.
OOG: Allright. A bit has happened. Reinforcements are not here as quickly as planned. The Raven hasn't undertaken any damage, but you can bet if those sheilds go down she will. Alain and his two other X-wing comrades are creating a distraction so that A) The fire on the Raven is divided and B) The TIEs are now stupidly flying after them into their own gunfire.
Aesati has sustained moderate damage due to the fact that she's a big Lambda class shuttle.
Objectives: A-improvise. B-protect Aesati C-Don't die. D-Hold out uuntil reinforcements arrive E-somehow avert the gunfire F- Save at least ONE (1) Proton Torpedo/Salvo of Concussion missiles. The rest can be used. G-(optional) defeat the TIE swarm
Use your imaginations. I'm sure everyone has read a star wars novel...just don't be too egocentric. You're a team and you can only win as one. There are FORTY (40) TIE Fighters.
Star Destroyer has FOUR (4) Heavy ion cannons and many many turbolasers. Remember, you can try to destroy them, but you'll lose some in the pay dept.
Max TIE's a player could kill in one turn/post-Three. Thats usually if the others are caught in an explosion or if you shoot the leader and the others crash.

OOG: I curse my like for large ships.
"Agh. Those bastards..." Bracing herself for the Lambda's damage rumbles, she raised her front and side shields to their fullest, rather confident in the strength of it. "If anyone else needs a physical SHIELD, I'm your wall!" She growled into the communications. "I'll be doing a bit of laser sniping on moving targets--especially if someone's being tailed, so give me some lip on the comlink when you get some problems!" She pursed her lips together again, glancing up to the myriad of ships through the glass as if it would show her the future. "Although I'm pulling back a distance if I lose my shields."
OOG: It sucks. Don't kill me.

Muhgur nods and hopes that Andrax will return safely.
Andrax nods and chuckles. "Imperial pigdogs will see how stupid their ships are." Her TIE wing blasters begin to fire a rapid volley, narrowly missing the TIE fighters, seemingly by design, trying to make her foes go into some interesting orbits with some correlation to the constant turbo laser fire... Meanwhile, her Headhunter barrels and core lasers fire their best at the ones chasing Alain. She reserves her concussion missiles. Her flight pattern is one of very slight banks and imperfect trajectories that are actually the root for advanced manuverability.

Aesati covers the group from the rapid laser fire, the green lances doing little to her shields She took out her three TIE fighters covering her team. Andrax was surrounded by TIE's, and as she looked on she saw that she could take care of herself. Nevertheless, the consensed powerlaser of her Lambda-Class reached out and grabbed a TIE, blowing string through it's wing, cockpit and solar panels. The second TIE faltered, barely missing the concussive blast of its comrade. She took this time to nail the rookie, clipping his solar panel off and sending him spiraling itno his own Star Destroyer. The third was on instinct. She was being nailed from the back, an annoying but tactical maneuver on their part. She waited until she felt the inevitable laserfire go farther up as the TIE reached the front of her ship. "Bad move." She said and as soon as the TIE was in sight, the trigger was pulled and the deed was done, leaving molten slag and not much else.
Andrax jukes through her share of TIEs, taking out her three that covered Alain. The turbolaser blasts laced past her and grazed her shields, but did far more to five of the TIEs behind her. The cloud caught on and swung around to attack the Lambda-class.
Alain weaves between the pillars of light, randomly boosting and killing his thrusters as the imps tried to target him. His first wingman fell to his nervousness and Alain cried out, the little blip on his radar fading. He couldn't lose focus. He swung around, hearing Krace lay out his plans. His second wingman was clipped on the u-turn, two of his s-foils surgically being vaporized. He could see his comrades face for one moment until his field of vision lost the pilot, but as he boosted through the slew of green bolts, he saw another blip darken on his radar. Tears in his eyes, he crossed trajectory with Krace.
Krace lanced through the TIE's. His first set of quad laser fire punched through the ball cockpit and vaporized it. A small explosion blew the solar panels outward. One of the panels slammed into the former pilots wingmate and disabled the fighter, sending it floating off with a damaged ion engine and little life support. TIE's ripped at his rear shield and he broke left hard. The TIE's rushed to mimic the maneuver, but Krace had already shot his quad lasers as they got halfway through it. He smiled with satisfaction as the durasteel became molten globs and the explosion rocked his X wing when he flew through it.
Alain crossed his path, flaking two TIE's with proton torpedoes and the other with continuous laserfire. He broke and formed up with Krace. "Your call, boss." He said with a relieved sigh.
Ogre tensed as his shields reduced to 20% power. "Get ready to call..." He paused as his gravity wells began to strain once more. Out of the darkness cut a new brilliant grey capital ship. Admiral Ulrich cut into the comlink. "Sorry about the delay..." A thick imperial accent flourished. "You'd better damn well be sorry...I lost a few good men out there!" Ogre exclaimed. Ulrich bowed. "Their service in this manner is honored by the Empire, for what it means to you." "The Emporer wouldn't say as much..." "The Emperor wants you dead." "What a loyal puppet you are." "Watch your tongue. Friend or not, Botta never asked me to keep you alive. " "Just keep your TIEs in your hangars and take care of your front.
There was no affirmation but the sound of guns firing. The Raven crept forward and tagged the Nautilus with it's gravity well projectors. Ogre flipped on the comlink.
"Allright guys, it looks like the imp is gonna go along with it. Stick to the sides of the destoyer and get ready to blow the command bridge when the sheilds go down!"
17 TIEs destroyed
13 TIEs remain.
Alain 3 kills Aesati 3 kills Andrax 8 kills -Ace Rank! Krace 3 kills

"I'll be there!" Aesati grinned towards the command bridge, as if those within it could see her rather menacing smile. "Once the shield's down, I can switch all power I have to cannons. But until then...Let's keep shooting these bugs out of space." She returns her attention to the remaining TIEs.

Andrax smiles at those heading to the Lambda cruiser. She spins about, using her many blasters to make a volley all over the Destroyer, trying to elicit turbo-laser counter-fire (assuming the Destroyer's gunners are not as savvy as the TIEs in her strategy), then immediately stops and uses the still moment to strike the swarming TIE going after Aesati with 1/2 of her concussion missile stockpile, hoping to hit one and cause a chain reaction. Muhgur from the base and her R-2 help coordinate the physics with her.

Vonjuni's converted air taxi, the components added and subtracted back at his shop, comes in to become an escort for the Lambda, seeing as it was a bigger target than the other fighters. Van comms in Aesati, "I'm your escort for now. You keep up your work, I'll just cover your tail." He keeps a short distance back behind the shuttle, watching for in-coming attackers. If any come for the shuttle, he'll break off in pursuit and fire his pair of laser cannons, aiming for the center TIEs.

Yes Hack, You're in.
Ogre's brow had a light sweat coating it. He looked at the tactical display with a clenched fist on the console, and breathed a sigh of relief as the red screen turned a light blue. He bellowed over the comlink.
"Aesati, Andrax, Krace, Alain, Vonjuni....It's showtime...." He smiles as he beganto revert his power to shields.

Andrax goes straight in in a low-arcing bombing run, such that she forms a full parabola, relying her opponents expecting her to try evasive manuevers and be leading shots based on that expectation. The arc is gradual and [hopefully] allows her to get close to the bridge, below the range of turrets. She only uses blasters for now.

Aesati fires at the bridge, and Andrax's maneuver puts her straight above the bridge. (I assume) she takes a drop and the bomb punctures the thick hull protecting the bridge so that Aesati's lasers go in and hit the meat that is the crew inside. The last bit of movement is a lone turret firing a green lance of energy that hit Andrax's engine as she pulled up.
Ogre wiped the sweat from his brow. "God damn it." He said over the intercom. "We needed the money, but I'm going with Von next time. We aren't going to be seeing Spades for a looooong time.... (foreshadowing!!!!!lolz)" He pulled it off, got a damage repot, and accepted the transfer of funds from his client. "Allright men, pull 'em in and let's get out of here. I want our vectors set for the nearest Cantina" He said, sighing.
