hey fred im making ashley's daughter but i too need help with the rules i really dont understand.

All right. At the moment, you've already gotten more done than you think. You have the Trait, Related to an Old Guard Member: Daughter of Ashley Williams and [who knows?] The latter is somewhat important because if you are related to two OGMs you get more powers but it becomes a 5 Trait Point Trait rather than a 3 Trait Point class. I don't know who Ash's prolific charms would have enraptured in the Old Guard, but luckily there is a Possible Trainers list in the Rules so you don't have to think about it. Luckily, because you are starting in a high powered campaign, you get 5 Trait Points free, rather than the normal 0. However, I would recommend any good daughter of Ashley Williams have the Unbelievably Tough Trait, so then you purchase Negatives, things like Obsession: Hunting the Undead, Clumsy with Words (remember the Necronomicon?), etc.
Then:
*Determine your Race (Races are listed, in part, in Rifts, FB and CotG sections; in addition, any race can be converted or created): Races give starting Affinities, Attributes, Rank Boosts (that which are used to raise attributes) and Class Points. In your case, you will be likely at least half-human, unless Ash did a process of gene alteration - you would be his daughter but of a different species. Fun, huh? *Determine Classes (a certain amount of Class Points from your race plus 70 from past experience since you are coming into a high power campaign; Classes are listed in both the Class List and Classes threads under Rules). You automatically add Red Mage (10), Martial Artist (10), White Witch (5) and Paladin (5) because those are the Communal Classes. Being the daughter of an OGM also gives Class Points, in your case I'll say 15 if only Ash and 25 if another parent. Such Class Points from your parents could be Shotgun Expert, Chainsaw-Fu, Zombie Slayer, etc. In the end, with all the Communal Classes, Trainer Classes and any kind of reasonable expenditure of your money on Classes, you should have at least 200 CPs. *Choose 10 trainers from the Old Guard (i.e. anyone from pretty much any continuity, from Worf to Raistlin to D'rrizt) *From the trainers, classes, etc. determine your Skills and Merits (Merits are basically Feats, Skills are enumerated as %s), as well as Affinities (Ki, Magic, Psi, Tech). Affinities should add up to roughly 2500-3000, I imagine you will stress Technique an egregious amount but you will end up wanting at least 100 in the other three. This is one of the only games I am aware of where someone who just wants to be able to learn to shoot a gun is balanced in the endgame. *You are given 20 million GP (equivalent of 2 billion dollars) from Crashing Heavens funds to buy equipment (things like genetic enhancement, Cosmic Forge items, and so on from the team), Rank Boosts/Class Points (100,000 per Rank Boost or Class Point), Affinities (100,000 per 10 points - this is explained in more detail in the rules section), etc. *After determining trainers, classes, etc. determine abilities. You get 1 Forbiddens (Forbiddens being abilities like Meganuke, Ultima 2, etc.) per 1.5 Class Points, 3 Forbidden 2s from your unique ability set (Forbidden 2s are abilities the next exponential level up, abilities like Jin's Chronanova which uses raw speed to create an area of non-existence and launches it as a physical attack at foes), and 1 F2 from each trainer, and in your case 1 from each Old Guard parent. *Once all of this is done, we find your final Attributes. Typically you will have somewhere from 2-5 Forbidden attributes. Forbidden attributes mean that you can do Forbidden abilities from the sheer force of your attributes at near-costless levels. *See Group Resources and add what is listed there at the bottom

Tome of Flame Half damage from all fire and heat attacks and 25% less damage from electricity. The character also heals 3 times as quickly from burns. The character can, at will, conjure: a flaming sword, a flaming field for the hands, a flaming shield, and a flaming suit of full plate mail (or any other type of armor). All spells related to fire and heat gain 10% to range, duration, spell strength (what one has to roll against to save), and spell cast time. They also gain 50% to damage and cost 20% less. The character can blast bolts of fire from his fingertips or eyes and even breathe fire like a flamethrower! The character is a virtual encyclopedia about fire (the data has been burnt into his memory by trauma). Thus, he is especially effective at dealing with it and preparing for it, extending from supplies to performing medical care. This also means that all spells that the character is using to cure burns are twice as effective when treating the burn. Bobro the Water Mage casts a watery healing spell that cures 50 HP on Orbob, who has taken 20 points of burn damage and 40 points of bullet damage. The 20 points only count as 10, and thus Orbob is completely healed. The character's fire attacks have a higher thermal mass and are thus harder to eliminate through interception by cooling attacks. The character's fire attacks pierce fire resistances.

Equipment: boomstick (does transgressive level damage and has transgressive level range, the bullets are also blessed by the libri ex victus for a large damage upgrade against things of evil which is essentially anything ashley or the libri view as evil, the bullets can teleport so you can fire and the bullets will actually fire from any point you can think of. The gun can also cast any spell that ashley can and it can do it of its own voilation so when casting spells it is treated as having its own turn to cast and will cast whatever ashley wishes it too and if ashley is not conciouss or dead then it will cast heal or ressurect.) chainsaw (transgressive level damage and power, extremely lightweight and easy to use. Luckily for everyone else, both of you are assigned unique code names (your choice or I can assign), things like Brilliant Crescent, Noble Umber, Wind Coyote, etc. You are given a ton of separate IDs: One for each alias you have in each relevant government's or Ranger's databanks, one showing only your code name, one only your real name, one showing both and some other biographical detail. Other people will call you by nicknames, like "F Ashley" and "M Ashley"; "Girl Williams" and "Lanky Williams"; etc. (Ranging, obviously, between the neutral and the deprecating). You are also set to go.
