If I remember right, your gnome druid was backing away from a thick, black puddle of goo that was squirming.

And rapidly finding a proliferation of such goos, everywhere. Bodkin was attempting to go somewhere to tell others about this goo.

Ok. So far your exploits in this forrest have not shown you any signs of life other than the creatures in the forrest.
If you want to try and figure out a way out of the forrest, roll a Survival check.

Ok, Bodkin quickly escapes from the minefield of goo spots and begins searching for a the perfect tree to climb.
Finding one, he slowly climbs to the top and takes a look around above the forrest tops. From this vantage point, it appears that the forrest ends if you were to travel to the south and there is a mountian range to the far west.

Bodkin is primarily searching for any towns, villages, druidic covens or hiding/meeting places, etc. He wants to return here to discover what is happening with an appropriate group to handle it.
