Here is how it is going down:
Characters will be first level with a maximum Level Adjustment of +1
Useable classes include the core classes and those from the complete series.
All feats/classes/races must be 3.5
For stats, roll 4d6 and drop the lowest. If you think that your stats really suck, let me see em and I might let you reroll.
In this setting, monstrous races are rarely seen in civilized areas, so consider wisely about their use and send me a message if you have questions.
As for the world:
The earth has entered a new ice age, and the northern half of the world if frozen. The game takes place below that frozen area in the parts of the world that are still livable, though still rather cold.
Humans are the dominant race with elves coming in at a far second. The elves have taken to living among the humans as the two races helped eachother migrate south away from the cold. As such, Half-elves are slightly common as well. Most of the dwarven clans are still living in the Frostlands, refusing to leave their underground homes. The Gnomes and Halflings have been scattered into the wind and rarely have a place to call their own. Half-orcs are almost unheard of.
The rest of the races are considered to be fairly monstrous and life outside of the protected zones is very scary.
Magic:
Is considered a lost art, but all the heroes, current and historical, have had some sort of magical item or power in their story, so magic is looked upon as a thing of awe, closely tied to greatness but also looked upon with a tinge of fear.
