Now that I think about it, I'm sure that Kyle will be up for it.
On that note, I don't recall if you had decided anything about where to begin the characters happy lives of lycanthropic adventure.

I believe that we had talked about maybe starting out in Arcadia (I know very little about the world so its highly possible that I'm wrong) because of bareknucklye boxing clubs and the sort.

Aaron is right. I'd love to play them. Any chance I can get to play PS, and the fact that our brothers are what I like to call "badass." We were actually thinking of starting them in Aquarius because of those fighting clubs and stuff to make money. Might be a bad idea since one time we might have to fight a big ass robot or a man made of spikes, but could also lead to some interesting adventures. Arcadia might also be nice because its high powered, but nothing we cant handle with a lot of effort. If not those maybe Company City or like, Karanda territory? That could be fun!

Karanda aren't terribly fond of anyone who hides anything, which happens to be lycanthropes.
Aquarius is actually slightly over Arcadia in terms of power scale, but isn't NEARLY as hostile. Where as you might get in a barfight with a super mutant in Aquarius because he thinks you were cheating, when indeed you weren't actually playing a game with him to begin with, In Arcadia your car might get used as a club by a renegade robot fighting off police without the courtesy of letting you get out first.
It makes sense to me. Aquarius has slightly more danger potential but Arcadia has many more immediate threats at any given time.
However, Aquarius has the handy note that you cannot be arrested for lighting your cigarette too close to a building or something stupid like that. You know. Fire bad.
And Aquarius is the place with the fight clubs. It has since branched off to Arcadia, but in the Arcadian ring, nobody dies. Go figure. Aquarius' house rules are till one person is no longer able to fight (and whatever means one wishes to reach that end) or gives up, but the bloodthirsty crowds may not take giving up as propper closure.

Then I think Aquarius would be the best place for the two of us. Its dangerous, sure, but Im sure we'll like it.

Fo sho.
You guys want the "Just rolled in with some cash in our pockets" approach?
The "Just rolled in with less cash and some wheels" approach?
or the "Been here a while. Got a place to stay. Ow my wallet." Approach?

I like the idea of a place to stay. I think Ty would too. It gives us somewhere to run to when we get fucked. Or a place to drag the bodies of our victims to for later release of sexual tension.

Hot.
Right then, so you can have a low income place near the docks (which bear more resemblance to an airlock), a moderate place in downtown, or a high class penthouse with a view. Fortunatley, since there's two of you paying for it, it won't eat your money TOO bad no matter what you pick.

Im torn between low income place because the people around there wont care, and a penthouse because then, hey, we look badass.

I agree... the low income place would be convenient, but a penthouse would be pretty nifty. We can always start out at the low income place and then upgrade later when we need to.

True, however:
When you start, what you start with is deducted from your starting cash at a way reduced rate. Real estate cuts to about 1/10 what it would cost if you buy it later.

A very good point. Then my vote is for staying in a penthouse, our characters look refined enough and they come from a socially trained family, I dont think that we should have too many problems if we play it smart.

Agreed. I think its penthouse.

Alright. You share a badass penthouse and you each have about twelve hundred bucks left to use on whatever.
What time of day do you want to start? Also, I think you guys were mercs right? You want to be on a job already that I assign or do you want to have free reign to check the boards on your own discretion?

Would being on an asigned Job mean that we are contracted out to a company that always tells us what to do, or that the first job we end up doing is just picked by you?
I would be fine doing it either way Kyle, so share your input here gangsta.

It would have meant you were already on a hit/delivery/info/something contract that would be done and done once you completed it. But job boards is fine.
I'll assume you want to be mid afternoon in that case?

This post is to let you know i'll be getting to listing what's available on the job board. However, reply to it as yet another reminder so I see an unread message leading me here.

I'm not positive, I think he just stopped using the forums when you got busy, but I'll let him know that you are back on board and he might show back up, but if not, I guess this whole thread is just shot.

Yea, I stopped comming after I thought you had stopped (Aaron) and well, to be honest, nothing on here is fun to play PbP.

True, PbP is a pain in the ass, but it's certainly more available than a meeting with me.
