Well, seeing as how this is titled Mike's Tech Ninja, I would assume so.
So... what should I post? How about I post the fact that the only Power Struggle play I've ever really gotten was that big ol' team battle back in... whenever it was.

Yeap. Well like... I guess we should figure out where you want to start, refresh the details of your character, and things of that nature. I'll get on it 'ventully

Okey dokey. First thing I think I should do is figure out the absolute details of my character, since all I can really remember is that he had some weird implanty thingies in his legs... I think they were genetically modified or something like that, but I'm not really sure. Oh, that, and the fact that I had a tech-star. But that's really all I can remember.

Thank you, Fred, that was quite helpful. So, Aaron, I guess I should just start from the beginning, eh? If there is a beginning, that is.

Sometimes I curse Fred's love of micromanagement and excessive goings on, but I can't deny that sometimes it's just plain old handy. Thanks for keeping the sheet on hand.
Alright. With a fortune of 4 you end up with 9k in starting moneys. You can put that towards additional gear or utilities if you want at a discounted starting price, or just pocket the cash.
As for starting cities:
Kalmoth is a trade hub in the south eastern deserts. It has about 15% native population with the rest being travellers, mercs, etcetera. Caravans carry goods in and out from all sorts of directions and there's many jobs and lots of money to be had.
The Company city is under the watchful eye of power armored soldier police on one side, and nearly ignored on the other. An organized crime force slinks its way around and all manner of crazyness goes on despite the guards.
Arcadia is a city that seems to teeter daily on it's own destruction. Built on an oil processing facility that had since dried up, it is a giant flammible pipeworks with technological gangs and ruffians vying for control against an independant council and it's understaffed police force.

Well, then. I guess, first, I'll just pocket the cash, not knowing what to buy at the moment. Second, I'll go ahead and start out at that Arcadia place. Technological crime sounds like fun to me.

Well, for an example, the cash could go towards a vehicle, a home, an apartment, a room at a hotel. Someplace for a permanent or semi-permanent base of operations to retreat to when all is dead and done.

Well, I suppose I'll go for a little apartment as my base of operations, then.
