Milky is in a great sea of code. The spirit of Hex Omega is nowhere to be found, but messages from her do form in the flowing currents of symbols, "In my realm, your spirit is slowly drained. There will be three trials that serve as a dam for fools who cannot tolerate my magic. Those trials can all be resolved through the logic of programming." Suddenly, a green, slightly curving road faces Milky.

head on down the road.

Above, the code changes like the constellation. The road keeps curving and curving, at that very, very slight dip. Milky figures out fairly quickly that it's highly unlikely that the road is anything but a giant loop.

the code changes like WHAT constellation? you seem to be forgetting minor words and phrases left and right on this forum, maybe you should, like, stop for a day or so lol.

The only thing I missed was an "s": constellations. Anyways, that really wasn't fuggin relevant, was it?

ok, well dive into the sea of code and start looking for patches of code that are more noteworthy.

Milky jumps off the road into the code (hey, that rhymed!) and begins falling precipitously. He keeps falling and falling... until there's the road, right below him.

i am not just falllin though, i was looking for anything interesting in the codewater. if i see none, then start gathering pieces of code and making a new HO.

During the fall, Milky sees that the lines of code are arranged concentrically and each concentric line is the same, ending with a "Loop" without an adjoining "End".

so start making all the codes into proper loops, if i am understanding what you are sayin. the code is set to loop, but is broken at a point right?

|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Dec 19, 2005 21:32:47 GMT -5
Well, no, it's a complete loop. That doesn't end.

|
Post by halfhero on Dec 19, 2005 21:53:37 GMT -5
so, to say thats its a loop, then tell me it has no end, is a little fucking redundant eh?

So you're going to crash the program.
You now face three slimes! FIGHT, MAGIC, ITEM OR RUN.

Ultima 2 Cannon had cost too much MP. Milky tried every option, failing to damage the slime, finally saying "I've used all my options and they don't work! Fuck this!"
Now Milky finally is in a long hallway, at the end of which is Hex Omega, a beautiful woman swathed in layer after layer of swirling code forming a classy red and black outfit, replete with conical hat and broomstick.

The butchers hit something in mid-air. Their force is completely stopped. Funny, Milky can't DETECT anything around him...
Hex Omega begins bombarding the area with flame, dense and white code in the center with redder and redder code at the edges. Amazingly enough, her aim is terrible at first; amazingly enough, Milky's automatic block even worse.
She then swoops in, her arm becoming a massive blade, bearing straight for Milky's neck...

Dive in close to her and wrap my arm around her blade arm, putting her in a joint lock, and start up some chain and hammer babyyyyyyyy

Amazingly enough, despite being sharply hindered by whatever force is keeping Milky and his weapons still, Milky is able to grab her arm. Unfortunately, her speed powers her through, and she is out of his grasp. She points down at Milky, and suddenly he feels a great... s-l-owness settling across his form. He feels as if his very existence and perceptions are being taxed, and she is moving choppily, appearing in one location then another. His turn, about 183% of a normal turn.

Remember: It seems that no part of Milky can get from zone to zone. He seems completely trapped within a 20 foot-by-20 foot square.

Milky first ensorcels himself in swirling and crackling offense energy that functions like a mine: when a target comes into his zone, it'll activate. Then a fireball rockets upwards at her... and strikes the edge of the zone (it would have missed anyways, owing to the lag). The final spell is a sight based one, igniting Milky's full sight range. Since his perceptions are not being cut off by the zone, he automatically hits her, a devastating blow. The spell has a duration, but eventually it'll run out and he'll be boned. If only he could find a way out of the zone...
He also figures out how to deal with the lag: cut down on the information coming through him. Obviously a double-edged sword, but she won't expect it.

You actually reduce the number of points of light you process as well as your color palette. Immediately you are no longer lagged. You also are completely free.

After having been pummeled badly, even eating his own Chaos Disintegration Sphere, Milky managed to corrupt the code Hex Omega drew from and thus defeat her with a final great blow.
Now: Milky can get a bankai for
*The Sword of Despair *Emperor's Honor *Flux Sword *Seijurou's Sword
