It has come to my attention that the amount of enemies out there and the amoun of planning is pretty daunting! Thus I'm making a thread to do that. First, the list of foes (updated as new ones are brought to attention):
Foes: Itek and her co-conspirators (listed below) *Unnamed cannibal that Mace is chasing on Mars *Nirvana (the punk girl that seduced Evan)
Lucifer
The Source (assuming his revival is not a myth)
Possibly Dark Gaia (despite Krane's work with her)
Dark Inferno's rival and the cult that follows the rival
The Minutemen
The Sons of Sensui and the Dark Angel himself
Outer Heaven conspiracy
Any Hunted groups
The Dark Dragon conspiracy Brunnengus is discovering
Now comes the planning. These are the plans I am aware of:
General:First of all is to use the team's untapped resources. The most noteworthy here:
*Apprentices *Allies
Ash F/Ash M:These two twins are planning a transcendental Synchronicity that will allow them to completely combine into a Cosmic-level form. Daedrous:Daedrous' bid for the Jade Emperorship (which would thereby become the Lotus Emperorship) could help protect the universe from Itek. In addition, reuniting the Underminers would help to defend the team. His delving into the First and Second Universes might also give insight into the conflict between Tyrant and Itek and thus help shed light on the situation. Hack:Hack is attempting to infiltrate Itek's group, performing a rather complex apparent double-cross. Milkdrop:Part of the point of the Forever Stone Kata is to allow Milkdrop to be able to destroy an individual opponent. Naomi:Naomi's punch and other sacrifice abilities are being prepared if a foe is particularly deadly. Sandro:Sandro is seeking to raise his ability to command Swaggard:Reuniting the Gemfist Pact will give allies for a final fight. Takeshi:Takeshi, similar to Milkdrop, is seeking out Dark Matter IV.

Well, maybe we can get someone of demonic lineage to shoot for the Source's position. That right there would be damn helpful, I think. Laura would be up for quite the fight, Mace would most likely come to seek out that dark entity in the Charmed Ones' basement (forgot the name), though I think for Fred's sanity I'll stop at helping someone achieve dominance of the Source's hordes.

Derrick is out on the fringes looking for artifacts that can possibly help...and he just found something....

...When someone becomes the Source of All Evil, they become THE SOURCE OF ALL EVIL. Whoever steps into the position is cursed to end in madness, ruin and evil.
The Shadow, and again, not the best idea to be messing around with that, or The Hollow.

*Snaps his fingers and sighs* I suppose there's not a loophole around that, is there? Ah, I figure not.
Kind of wondering now if we could get a fleet of ships together to make raids against the Imperium...I know they have starfaring vessels, so that could potentially stop enemy assaults. Also, I left plans in the Destroy the Imperium! thread about infiltration. Brent assassinating enemies, Mace posing as a necromancer (and he has necromatic abilities, by the way, from his training with Sabriel) and 'killing' the traitorous soldier Brent repeatedly to make him look sort of like a hero. I go into a LOT more detail in the thread about that.
Also, once Mace collects all of Kalaybero's parts, he's thinking of using his knowledge of alchemy and his new power to go tear some new holes in Lucifer. He sort of dislikes the idea of a place of eternal torment, so he kind of wants to rid the universe of such a plane of existance. <.<; Though I think I'll stop with him just trying to kill Lucifer and tear off his body parts. I think a unique affinity for him would be Unity, seeing as he likes to 'unite' body parts with his own body. :3 I also need to start looking for a communal Absorb Power ability, so the team can take abilities from enemies.
Also, a Codex character I had in mind was the Universal Collector, the one who collects genetic material all over the universe to preserve the genetic heritage of all life forms. This could potentially help with grafts, help the Genetics Lord range of abilities, or even resurrect old species that once fought for the good of things but were annihilated by their enemies. This could get us some communal DIO and...I guess that's it for my on-going monologue.

Again: You're assuming the Imperium is on Itek's side. In all likelihood, they're not.
The universe at this stage cannot tolerate Hell being removed. And even with all of Kalayberos' parts, Mace cannot easily one-man Lucifer, probably not at all. Unifying parts with your body doesn't friggin qualify you for a Unique Affinity. A communal absorption mechanism WOULD be a good idea, yes.
...A new character should go in a CHARACTER CREATION THREAD. Not here.
Any actual, y'know, planning?

Actually, I never did say I thought them on Itek's side. I just thought since we're fighting them in general, they'd go under foes. You just said enemies, not any specifically working with Itek.
I'm pretty damn sure I realize that Fred. :3 I'm talking about personality, plot. He still wants to kick the crap out of some people. I don't think he could take on half of Lucifer, but he would go after the bastard because he'll feel almighty and powerful with all the parts.
Fred, when I announce a new character in a thread not even related, it's because I feel that the character has some strategic value and the team should consider how they would later help in the fight, that's all. : P I'm not designing him here, I'm just showing what value he may be. Knowledge of holocrons, lost academies, alchemical bio-weaponry, etc.

Sorry, this thread is primarily meant to deal with Itek.
Okay, I hear ya.
The problem with that is that it begins to clutter threads, mess with the organization, and I inevitably want to respond and others become confused as to who is there. As it is, I don't know who you're earning in what order, who's H/H or Colossus, etc. I also fail to see how a Universal Collector is especially useful in this context.

Well, you asked earlier how a Universal COllector could help the team. Well, the Tzemke are a very helpful race. If the Collector has some long extinct race that would be of great use to the team, if they're receptive to the idea of joining us, then that could be another DIO for the team. Another Tzemke.

The Tzemke were a rare find indeed: Whole sentient race agreeing to work with the CH. Hard to match that easily.

yes it would be difficult now wouldnt it... unless we have the right incentive.
We have without a doubt a collection of the strongest warriors in existance we are a free group of individuals who battle with little to no rules or regulations really.
There are many races who have views of fighting just for the sake of fighting (which unfortunatly it seems like a good deal of the team shares that view).
think of a group like the mandelorians (sp?) or a group like the 300 surely with a certain diplomatic tongue mixed with a showing of our strength and willingness to battle (as though we have not proven ourselves time and time again) we might be able to convince groups like that to follow us.

Here's a bit of the difficulty with that. First of all: We've already been there, done that. What I mean is that you guys are basically the cream of the crop of a lot of races like that: Graei, Zengz, demon, etc. The few people who are better than you out there are, by virtue of their rarity, hard to find, and in limited numbers. Second: That kind of fanatical loyalty and obsession for battle has to come from a source. One source is national loyalty. Difficult to convince people to quit the nation whose spirit gives their soul license to soar. (Kudos to anyone who gets what I'm referencing!) Another source is mercenary desire, sheer greed. Hiring mercs is alright, but not really a good long-term solution (though to be totally fair a lot of the Old Guard were just hired mercs, bounty hunters, etc.) Then there's biological imperatives: Races like the Zengzi and demons who are culturally, biologically, etc. as a group battle-obsessed. One could also go the Krane route and find spiritual groups that are obsessed with battle. (Of course, we all know how that went with Krane... ). The reason why the Tzemke worked was simple: The hive could quickly in a few generations benefit from the One Heaven, their knowledge and their information. They had an incentive from a variety of perspectives to work with Zene, Denios and the team by extension. One great way to do this, though, is to get groups with something to prove. Adonis was a Spartan before he realized his Morphus. There may be Spartan groups throughout time and space who'd want to demonstrate the superiority of their technique. (And it's Mandalorians. Very close, though ). Shadow Nova's replication powers are pretty impressive, but if sheer self-cloning could do the trick, Hinata, Xi, Spira, Ash M, or a nanotech plague could easily do the trick.

I think that would be a great idea, seeking out a group with something to prove. Rebellious teens would be a place to start. : P
I think we need more apprentices. If we can get a large group of them together, we could make quite the search team for items and such while we focus the teachers on tackling Itek. They could go scouting for new allies. We could also get blood samples from very powerful characters in the group, clone them, and have our very own clone army. Could give each character a few to act like apprentices, train them, and we'd have a nice, tidy little group to go hunting with.

Rebellious super-powered teens... yeah.
You have a bunch that aren't used. Adding more to an unused pile is, well, silly.
Another point I should make: The complex could possibly be vulnerable to attack. At the moment, most of the Apprentices, Theta, Welka, Ufo, Niilor, Handyman, Dalas, Ikash, and a few others are in the complex most of the time and function as a guard. But Mace is quarantined, Quion, Sarashito and El are bogged down, Derrick and Shae are AWOL, and Hack and Mace's teams are involved in so many projects that they're practically useless for defense.

I was actually just thinking about that, and I'm taking that as a clue. Mace, since he's still locked up, needs something new to do.
If people are willing to go hunting for magical devices, traps, components, etc. for defenses, Mace can spend his time adding them to the complex. Shielding, auto-defenses, traps, etc.

Can he use his magic outside the quarantine? If not, he'll just sort of make traps in his room and have someone else set it up.

No, there is an ancient mystical protection circle, a good portion of the team, and the fact that if Mace is released now he may well blow up or melt a planet or something in the way.
The point of the quarantine is to keep his influence from emanating. At the moment, he's not in control enough of his magic to do that. Nor the traps thing.
