But, okay. Now I remember which team this was. Weren't they unveiling some kind of special sword or something of that kind?

Ask the Tenchi Muyo creators.
Yes, the Lady of the town was asking you to help her hunt down a demon to be made into a great blade.

Ah. Okey dokey... (crazy Tenchi Muyo people and their... whatever...) Speaking of Tenchi, you should check out the video Pedro posted on my MySpace. It's a video all about Washu done to the music of Thomas Dolby's "She Blinded Me With Science".
Okay... so... do we just head out, or do we go ahead and sleep for a night?

I've seen the "She Blinded Me With Science" video. It's a good 'un.
Lady Yanaruma says, "I wouldn't normally ask strangers to hunt down a demon for us, but I have heard so much of you and your battles against the demons, and we are desperate. My spiritual powers are only barely enough to keep demons away from this town." Indeed, Kagome and Miroku can tell that her spiritual power is quite impressive. "Totosai, the great smith, has agreed to forge a blade that will let the villagers protect themselves. It will be the ultimate blade of the samurai, the blade that keeps peace without being drawn from its scabbard. And this demon of war and force is needed to create it. We're not quite sure where it is, but we think it has made a nest in the mountains in the west."

Miroku says "We'd be glad to assist you in your noble quest of protecting this village and its people. We are at your service.: *grope grope*

The woman surprisingly doesn't seem to mind Miroku's advances. "Please, my good monk! Intimacy should only be restricted to certain festivals, especially for the holy men, don't you agree? I am glad that you..." *eyes flutter* "have courageously decided to help us."

(That's weird... does she have some kind of crazy sex festival that goes on? 'Cause that would be neato.)

Most societies have fertility festivals that are either obvious or slightly obscured orgies. Consider: Easter has bunny and egg symbolism. Does that have shit to do with Christ? No, it has to do with spring and fucking.

Yes, I know. The rabbit/bunny has to do with producing lots of young because they fuck like... well, rabbits. And the egg is considered to be a sign of fertility. I know that. Not to mention that chocolate is an aphrodisiac.

So, from that tangent: Any response?

Why did I go from three stars to two?
Anyways... ask her when we set out.

Three stars to two? You had three stars?
"You may set out whenever you please. You are welcome to stay here as long as you wish. If you are hungry, thirsty or otherwise... needing", again the flutter of eyes to Miroku, "you can do what you wish."

I think I did... Maybe I was just seeing things.
(Is she coming on to him or something?) Inuyasha cuts in "I think we should leave as soon as possible. We kinda need to find that old codger Totosai."

"Totosai is deep in meditation preparing for you to bring the demon back. He tells me that he must not be disturbed."

"Well, then... let's go find this demon and kick its ass."

Sango whispers, "That doesn't sound very much like Totosai. Something's fishy here. It's just too... cheery."
Head to the mountains?

Sure thing. Let's go for it.
Kurumi says, "But isn't cheery a good thing?"

Kurumi? Do you mean Kagome?

Well, the way we had it figured out before was that, once the Angels had finished at the Ultimate Shop - which they had - Kurumi went with the Time Team.

We did? Then where will Karinka and Saki be? Not to mention Huitzil and Mickey?
Sango says in response to Kurumi: "Of course upbeat is good. But this is just too much. Something's rotten here."
