Weren't Lena and Mace still inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber? And the rest of the team was fighting Killer Moth, I think. Yeah, then DM07 done used some crazy toxin thing... or maybe that was the other guy... I forget...

I don't think you've been to the DB world, so I don't think Lena and Mace were in the HBT. They were in some sort of Jedi training, I believe. I'll edit them out of the list.
Teknaro did the toxin - Teknaro is the alchemical expert.
I think it was the Ninja Borg next.

No, we haven't yet. But there was a HBT-ish thing in the US, which is where I have a membership to that allows me to go ahead and use the time chamber thingy for... something like... I don't even know, but I DO know that it was expensive as fuck.
Dude, this is totally awesome. Much props for getting this all set up, dude.

Oh yes, you are right, there is a time-slowing chamber at the Ultimate Shop. They were indeed training there, and you did indeed spend on the premium package for a small group of people. Thanks. Try to get Sara and Glenn here, as well as anyone else interested in CotG, FB, etc.

Yeah. We got a lot of stuff done, too, since they'd been in there for a really long time, I believe.
No problem, man. Glenn... doubtful. Sarah, I'll see if I can talk to her sometime, since I rarely see her anymore. Um, I gave my friend Pedro your e-mail and the web address so he can come one and you'll know it's him. I also gave it to this friend of Sarah's named Bunny, so... yeah... I think she'll be on sometime soon. She wants the Sailor Scouts.

They've been in there some time. I remember them being 40-50% complete with the training.
What do you want the Ninja Borg to do? He's part of the GKX, so he uses Gates (more oriented for stealth and manueverability).

Okay, well I had Boba and Red X go looking for Killer Moth, didn't I? Can I just have the Ninja Borg do the same? Maybe use a Speed Gate to give him a little extra boost?

You did have Boba and Red X helping Robin look for Killer Moth. Bear in mind, though, that Robin is still loathe to work with Red X, and Red X is very good at fighting multiple groups with his various X-themed items. Yes, the Ninja Borg can look, using its Gates.
The Borg generates a powerful hyperspatial field. Moving with a blurring and liquid-like style, it leaps through the Moths. Its powerful sensors detect a power flux leading to the radio tower on the cliffs around the city. (BTW: I decided that this city is San Fran. The gate obviously is.)
A white flash appears on the Golden Gate Bridge. Backup has arrived... but from who?

(I knew that) Should I have Red X just go back? 'Cause I don't want any problems when they're fighting the boss guy. I think Robin, Boba, and a Gatekeeper can pretty much handle themselves. By the way, could the NB use his Gate powers to affect his teammates?

The problem won't be severe; Red X and Robin did work together to save the team from Dr. Yang.
The NB isn't really a support-class - he's a ninja, though he does have some support power. But the Dilector can.

Okay, I'll keep Red X and Robin together, and I'll keep the NB. Can I get the Dilector to go, too? By the way, this is my last post for tonight.

It's the Dilector's turn. How do you want him to assist? Satellite imaging?

Yeah. Let's have him make a scan of all radio towers in the city, if that's possible.

The Dilector speaks to everyone with a mic setup. "That's strange. One of the radio towers is transmitting a regular signal, something that would make sense for controlling bugs. But something else is jamming other transmissions to make the control better! And the other radio towers are starting to transmit the other signal! It'll be picking up as a very light static at the bottom of the public bandwidth. I imagine the military are going to be showing up soon; you'll probably have to protect them. And you need to find what's jamming the transmissions, not to mention what's taking over the other towers!"
One of the figures on the Golden Gate Bridge fires a blast of concentrated lightning.

Quick question... Boba's got Slave-I, right? Can I have him just fly it over there and start shootin'?
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 15, 2005 19:50:05 GMT -5
Yes, Boba does have Slave-1. But you're just going to shoot up a radio tower discriminately? Killer Moth probably has hostages.

No. I want Boba to fly on over and go in looking for KILLER MOTH. Had to capitalize it, 'cause it just seemed like the thing to do at the time. Anyways... I want Boba to go in and start looking around, all stealth-like.

As the signal starts to spread, the people running away from the moths seem to scream more in pain than in fear. Robin calls out, "He's using a low band transmission to scramble their brains!" Beast Boy shakes his head and says, "I don't hear anything."
Boba Fett crosses the sea in the Slave-1. Now the moths are forming a solid wall against him.

I'm not sure exactly... What kind of weapons are on the Slave-1?

Both Jango and Boba Fett modified and rearmed Slave I. Under Jango Fett's ownership, its weaponry included twin blaster cannons, two rapid-firing laser cannons, two projectile launchers (each equipped with a magazine of three proton torpedoes or various other payloads), and a naval mine-layer equipped with three seismic charges. After Boba Fett assumed control of the vessel, he replaced the laser cannons with an ion cannon and a concussion missile launcher, and also added a tractor beam.
He probably also has Slave II. Two Tion Mil/Sci Mil-StarIV engines propel the heavy patrol craft, and there are three Corellian Engineering x41 maneuvering thrusters mounted on the port-side stabiliser. Powerful Torplex military-grade shield generators provide protection, whereas the ship itself is armed with twin forward firing blaster cannons and an ion cannon turret. There is also a "surprise weapon", consisting of a rearward firing proton torpedo launcher, which holds a magazine of six torpedoes. The ship also has a sophisticated sensor array system, such as in Slave I, though it lacks the stealth systems found in Slave I. There are also rumours of five force-field enclosed prisoner cages on board.
Boba does have a Slave III and IV model.
Also: You can put up at least tentative actions for every member.

But before they do that, I guess we gotta take care of those damn moths in the way, huh? Seismic mines seem like a good idea...

I think seismic mines are ground-based.

Well, then, how would they work when he used them in the asteroid field, huh? Come up with an answer for that, smart guy.

Star Wars is either self-contradictory or doesn't understand that you can't propel an explosion through a vacuum because there's no medium?

Shit. Defeated yet again!!!!!
Okay, then... do I have any kind of expansive weapon? Something with a large spray?

|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Nov 17, 2005 23:28:57 GMT -5
Well, if they in fact set mines in a vacuum, the main problem would be them dropping, unless they're hover units.
The missile cannon and ion blast might be wide-spread. And the Slave II's proton torpedoes, which might also create enough light to blind some moths.
