I would GM this, but I'd need to do some more research on the world. Any Inuyasha fanboys or girls who could GM or co-GM?

Sounds good, though I think we'll need to all study up on Japanese mythology a bit. : ) *shrugs* Nah, maybe not, but if someone needs help GMing, I can volunteer, though if it's based specifically around the lore behind the Tetsaiga (or however you spell it) or some things specifically in the show, I can't help there. More general things I can help with though.

I've seen Romanizations ranging from Tetsusaiga to Tessaiga. I think I have a good enough feel for the show, but I would definitely like a much bigger fanboy to do it. I also should note that I'd like to see more original RPGs and less inspired by anime here.

i'm working on one i just need to work out the kinks in the system, namely how the hell do you do racial stat mods in D10 to you set racial maximums like ffrpg or what

Same here Fred, or something with less of a focus point around one particular item/weapon/person. That tends to limit things, I think.

not a bad idea mace, don't give one player too much action of the others

No idea what you mean, Mace. The story wouldn't be centered around the Tessaiga, or even the Shikon Jewels necessarily. Naraku would be only one of a few major villainous forces.
Hack: The dot system I think just means different things for different races, or different forms, or different things buff it differently.

Well, take it like this Fred. If a movie was based around a certain person, and it's an incredibly unique world -because- of them, and suddenly that person has achieved what they're supposed to, lost their power (or whatever) and moved on, then the world isn't too exciting without that one person. I guess that's how I can best describe it...

...Yeah, that's an interesting point, what I don't get is how it's relevant.

ok...i dont really plan on playing this game, but you could put a new spin on the world. for example what it seems fred is implying is that you dont need to play in a world already defined by characters and follow them. for example in other rpgs...it has many heroes, why not another villain with another set of heroes completly seperate from the story.

that's what i was hoping for acctually, just don't center it around one character too much

Not totally separate, and I never make campaigns that feature one character totally separate from everyone else.
Well, brainstorm some concepts here, if I see sufficient interest I'll create a category.

It'd be nice to see one demon, one person from the "future"/present (maybe someone with some technological punch), one goblinoid (like Jaken or similar), one spiritualist (like Miroku or the other monks in the series), maybe some more exotic ideas like a demon hunter from "the mainland" (China)...

yes, much research must be done onto the subject, I take the Demon we need a highly diverse group, the more off the wall the better

So, let's get posts here from some people maybe interested, giving a little bit of ideas for concepts, and run with it.

but he is a lesser fox demon, his alternate form being only a humans height at the shoulder currently, he is covered in seals and scripturesto prevent him from acessing his full destructive potential, seven in total. each one comes off when he atones for each of the seven sins in proportion to the amount he has committed them, and he has comitted each to great excess.
