This thread is for those who elected to take the option to create a low powered character. For those who haven't, Black Veil, Rifts, Splicers, Chaos Earth, or Endless Horizons characters, and in general characters from any game I've run, can be converted. I know some people are deterred by the high power of the normal campaign, so relatively low powered stuff can be done with these characters.

Ah, what the hell. I'll join. I think I'll use my beat-cop Shadowrun Ork. Generally hand-to-hand cyborg.

Are you referring to my Ork, Hack? (Kind of hard to tell sometimes on the forums) If so, oh well. He wasn't all that original anyway. I think Tezra would be awesome as a team leader. Jack-of-All- Trades, precognitive, medic, ex-fixer, astral fighter, archer, gunslinger, drone-driver, and has a shit load of contacts.
Of course, she won't have -all- of this for the beginning of the game, but I think she will turn out quite interesting later.
Fred, maybe you should make a seperate sub-forum for Low-Power and one for the Non-CH. It would be easier to keep things in order.

I will consider it, but for awhile you won't need it. This is the only thread it needs to occur in while you all get stabilized.
AX-71b: Activation Protocol. Equipment Set Detection...... Standard. Optics: Activating. Recognition Protocols... AX-71b's beginning moments of sentience.

*cough* Anywho. So what are the rank limits, affinity totals, etc.? I'll start immediately.

Tezra's already started.
AX-7 is activated inside an empty room. He can scarcely move and his perception is limited to an inch in front of him, a sheer and very close wall of darkness.

So Tezra can start anywhere? Or in the same room as AX-7?

Anywhere that her skill set would enable.

At the OHRA, I guess then. What's the place like?

...There is no one place. The Rangers have millions of field offices.

Ah, oh well then. She'll start in an office on the Shadowrun Earth, in Seattle if she can.

It's as nice a day as Seattle gets. Fixing has been relatively lucrative for her, but she's often finding herself looking out the window wanting more...
The backup systems do not alter AX-7's position, but they do tell it where it is: In a shielding closet.

Tezra, wearing a tight vest, black T-shirt, and jeans, sits in a local park, admiring the trees. Her pair of mockaras are stashed in her vest, in a shoulder get-up that conceals them without creating a bulge in her outer cover. Her biomonitor is equipped to her right wrist, showing all her vitals as green.
Idly sucking on a tube of Concentrate, she cracks her neck and waits for her biomonitor to beep with an in-coming message from the Rangers.

It believes it can open the closet on its own volition when activated.
The message does come through, and it is a doozy. Short and sweet. "You're wanted at the Anbar-Xio base, Crashing Heavens main office."

Tezra cracks her left hand's knuckles, gets up, and waves for a cab. (Is the Anbar-Xio base in Seattle? I assume it is) She'll give the cab driver directions to the base and then just sit, looking out the window, a stiff look on her face.

...No, it's in Anbar-Xio. On Hael.
The door opens. There is a veritable madhouse of activity in front of him: Weapon turrets begin modified, repaired with massive machines with nano-sized tool arrays; a giant black form with floating skulls about it contemplating how to build something new...

(Ah, okay) Tezra will have the cab driver take her to the nearest spaceport to find a ship to Hael.

More likely is a dimensional portal. You could get on a ship, though.

As Tezra gets into the cab, the cabby begins to talk in general terms. She seems to not be listening, excited by the offer from CH, but the general theme is noting all the changes in Seattle since Jake became part of them... you know, London, Queen, Buckingham... Old Guard! Right.
Indeed, the cab itself seems to practically teleport to the dimensional teleportation center.
