Taklinn stops Hack from getting himself arrested, or more likely killed "we should talk to those with more legal acess to the information you desire" hack replies "and just who would that be" "the hell If I know, talk to the monkey"

Ogee says, "Fuck that, man, the UEG sucks. They're a lot better than most governments, but the compromises made... Well, anyways. You might be able to make a play for the research legitimately if you put some pressure on them, called in some favors, maybe talked to the Stormguard."

The Stormguard HQ is an odd bird: There is a massive, ornate purple building, clearly a front, then a set of smaller buildings that appear to be secondary but are where the actual business takes place. The question is, through the obvious entrance or the rear entrance?

Hack and Taklinn stride up to one building. A security pass is needed, but a woman's voice behind them in the purple and black power armor of the Stormguard comes out through voice modulation, "Hack! Taklinn! Glad to see that Crashing Heavens didn't fall off the edge of the Earth when we all won the Dark Tournament. What do you want here?"

She launches a complex coded band of transmissions while entering in a physical keycode tens of thousands of digits long. The door opens, and she smiles, "That's among the easiest locks. It's about as hard to break into our place as it is Crashing Heavens compound, especially before you guys get your shit together." The inter-agency rivalry is a little present as she takes off her helmet, long-flowing blond hair. Her number is emblazoned Gamma-32. She sits down and says, "Call me Kim. Go ahead, get something from the cafeteria. It's good stuff. See, after the Dark Tournament, we decided not to just be such dumbass soldiers, and the best part: We used to just eat this flavorless protein stuff here. Now we get Oyster rockefeller."

Kim looks at you two. "Wow. Wow. I expected the Paladin half-celestial to get the refined thing and Hack to get the bloody rare pig. Try the sweet and sour sauce, Taklinn, it's pretty good." She eats a simply massive plate of pasta. She looks at the two and laughs. "I'm a mutant, my power is to consume a massive amount of food and turn that into a living bomb. Of course, now the whole Stormguard is that way, but it is still my power and my contribution." She drinks a literally endless glass of Sprite. "So, what brought you to the name, Hume Spinoza?"

"He's not a Minuteman. I wish he was. Hume Spinoza is in fact Jack Enright. He works for the UEG. He never worked for the US." She waits for the point to sink in before continuing.
