Are you asking people here or NPCs? Most NPCs would come along, with Quion, Denios, the Dream Snake, the other people listed in the Brawlers thread and anyone obsessed with fighting being the most likely to want to and Laura Wild, Viktor Blackwing, and anyone with police and criminal experience being most likely to be of assistance.

i'm asking anyone with a beef against the minutemen, the enemy of my enemy is my friend

Few people have a direct beef, putting aside the whole party's beef. Shadow and Solid Snake do. Quion hates them on general principles, as does Sarashito and Denios. 08 and Crawdaddy would too.

PM Rinnengeenie, laughingman and Datamancer, then. Jin (cerpin) may also be interested, as well as Milky and Spira (halfhero) because they get pretty spiteful. Derrick Nightblade (blackfox) may want in just for the bounty as well as the philosophical thing. Ominai had a special rapport with the Stormguard, so maybe him too (Ominai is the login name as well). Amarie and Xexilia also may care (Bob_12 and Sithofmacabre, respectively). Denios, Quion, Sarashito, and the others listed above are NPCs, so you can take them along if you wish.

licence plate number, or was i too drunk. otherwise mindjack into a crashing heavens computer and try to reconstruct the image, if i was sober enough to catch a license plate number, add that to the search.

Far too drunk, hence me offering you an opportunity to do something . A partial image is reconstructed, producing a serial number that is incomplete but reads in part "092131".

The databases that are pulled up provide three close matches (FN: HkC 18). All could be aliases of Minutemen.

which one would be easiest for me to assassinate?
|
|
|
Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on May 15, 2006 21:10:48 GMT -5
You don't know. The people pulled up have no noteworthy data, that's the point of the alias. He unfortunately does not quite remember the man who he is trying to match the alias and face to, which means he does not know the man's skill either, and that is likely to have changed (either for the worse or, more likely, much better) over the years.

then lets check out HkC

Sorry, HkC 18 was a note for me, FN means Fred Note. I write down things in code. It builds suspense and helps me a lot . There are two men and one woman listed. All are currently BELIEVED to be on Tenrei, registered with the local authorities, which means ALL are rich and powerful enough to bring their own cars...

naturally, lets go after one of the men (chosen at random)

Unless he parked there then took a train to the party district. No specific location data has been released. So: Strategy?

check the Train passenger logs, see if any name's pop up, particularly once that seem like aliases

The name you're looking for is not there, but there is one that does look suspicious: Hume Spinoza.

and we'll check this person out now

Hume Spinoza is noted as having authored a number of hidden university documents, then disappearing totally. The topics are in areas that are commonly used to hide security data (FN: RE 288).

The topics? You can't find the article, at least not initially.

Taklinn is available.
At this point, you'd be breaking into UEG government records. There is some good will built up from the debacle at the Dark Tournament, but that only extends so far.
