Jess and Wyatt rise up again.
Spekkio now casts Remembrances of Death, causing the two to suffer a great deal of pain and reduced will from the return. It then casts Slow III on the whole team. Only Jack saves. It then casts Weak Wind III, attempting to knock down all their HPs. Luckily, all largely save.
Jack.

Jack really want to try to Ultima 3 given his exhaustion and so on? And if so, insta-shot or charge?

Its shields aren't down. They're reduced. And you can still heal your team. Nonetheless.
Jack is breaking down the walls of reality, but if he launches U3 now there is no telling what it will do. Luckily, he speeds up the process, getting far closer, but still not close enough to be absolutely safe. Launch?

...guh...its a gamble...but why not...if it works lets hope it's the turning point in the battle for the best. Launch.

The Ultima 3 pours out. First magic itself is created; then it begins to replicate, violating rules of space; now it becomes so powerful that the universe itself must respond, causing it to shrink back into an imploding force once completed! The energy erupts outwards... and part of it backdrafts onto the team. Jack and Jess fall, but Jack did not burn enough of his essence to be unrevivable, and Jess is regenerating back to life quickly. Evan and Wyatt barely survive but are left virtually defenseless. The energy crackles along Spekkio's tens of thousands of heads, killing all the Schizosite ones, then collapses back in onto it. There is no dust to clear in this case since even the air has basically been melted into featurelessness. And Spekkio still stands. (Not least because Jack had to power through his kleptomania, which will now be much stronger if he is revived).
Spekkio acts first. He does not decide to have any mercy and casts Ultima Cannon. Only Wyatt has a chance to respond.

Wyatt will attempt to run, bob and weave orbing when he must, but he primary concern will be to cast healing winds...or some other sort of healing spell.

Wyatt manages to dodge the attack, amazingly. The indestructible room quivers from the new explosive energy. Jess is knocked below easy revivability, but Evan, Wyatt and Jack are back up to some semblance of normality.
Spekkio first casts Restorer on itself, then casts World Drain. Jack and Wyatt have incredible amounts of HP absorbed and have negative HP counters counting against their healing, but Evan isn't doing too badly.
Evan and Jack.

Evan will use the Fortress Penetration Kata, and if he has more turn he'll use Disintegrating Flesh Atemi.
Jack will cast another healing spell to attempt to restore the team some more.

Jack uses a healing ability from his arsenal to bring Evan, Wyatt and himself back up to speed. Evan, on the other hand, chants into the heavens. Down comes meteor after meteor segmenting off from one colossal meteor, a mystical representation of the falling star in the heavens of the Twanchen. Spekkio's many heads roll their eyes as it hits. Jack has much more turn, but Evan has cut into his next turn.

If Jack can, he'll augment the Meteor-x into magical damage instead of physical.

The X-Meteor is the second most physical of the Three Cosmic Forbiddens (Ultima 2, Tellah's Meteo, X-Meteor), but how will Jack make it more magical?

Well firstly I made the mistake of not using U3 with Evan but thats my bad I suppose he might imbue it with shadow magic?

Post by Frederic Bourgault-Christie on Mar 7, 2006 2:11:42 GMT -5
Ah, he could do a shadow copy of the spell.

If thats the best he can do, do it.

Remember: Jack had difficulty enough casting U3. This is pre-DT victory. This may kill him, indeed probably will.

Thats a bummer. I some how highly doubt this will kill spek or even fuck him up much either. But Jack will make the sacrifice anyways.

That is very true, but I need to do something. Jack will try it, Wyatt will propare a resurrection spell and a healing spell for the team.
