Not exactly. You had set aside some people to be in here. I haven't committed for anyone to be in the BTT. Your choice.

Sure. That's a lot of muscle alongside your amoral reality-warping magician. Who will they try to contact/what will they do?

Military organizations tend to be loathe to subcontract unless they're tapped out, typically meaning they're poor. You could hit up the Third World...

Like Third World countries or the Third World that is connected to earth? What about people that anybody on the team would know about who have had a tradgedy dealing with supernatural creatures and are rich who might be willing to fund an "Anti Uncontrollable Supernatural Creatures" team or something.

Third World countries.
Luckily enough for you, the team does know such a rich patron. If you can think of a logical one that the X-Men would know from the Marvel continuity, that'll be it.

No problem, then.
Fred knows a wealthy backer in Jamaica whose daughter was victimized by the Demons of Kingston.

The team is going to head to that place then. I'll assume that since this was planned before the departing of the rest of the teams that Fred will have given them a note to give to the man or a letter or something to let him know that we aren't just using his name and just so that he can say hi.

Indeed. You head over to Kingston on the Pelican?

Yes, on a pelican.

The team manages to get through Jamaican airspace with no problem, landing in the airport. They head over to the mansion. Outside, a guard stops them and says, "What is... your... business?" You notice him unclasp his pistol.

"We are here on behalf of Fred he said that your employer might be willing to fund us in a business to hunt down supernatural creatures that shouldn't be on this plain."

"Let me get approval." You all wait outside. Eventually, the man comes back out. "Go in dere." His Jamaican accent comes out.
You walk through the verdant gardens up the path to the Victorian-era house (or is it Victorian? no one here can really tell). Another black man, with black pants, white gloves, a white shirt and a red vest awaits. "The master... awaits." A white man walks down the stairs. "Hello, hello! I hear you are acquaintances of Mr. Lumina-Weise. Tell me: How is he?"

"He is doing wondefully, staying very very busy, he wishes he could be here to talk but he had some business to attend to with some more members of our group that we are forming."

"Ah. And what is the nature of this group?", the man asks, leading the team to an elegant dining room. "This is a light lunch: salad, soup, freshly baked ackee breadsticks, and drunken grilled saltfish."

"Thankyou a very great much, this is a most appreciated meal. Eating from the slop hall on our ship may not be bad... but it is nothing as pleasing as this." "Our group was formed, in all the most basic ideas, to fight evil and help those in need. Right now we are hoping to extend ourselves to form a business that specializes in hunting down the supernatural."

"Yes, you have hit the nail directly on the head. Not many people are willing to give for a simple cause, but we think that this company could be profitable if it can contract itself out to the government and private parties. Fred told us that you would possibly be willing to help us out, even if it is in exchange for work that we need to do for you."

"Tell me: Aside from my personal reasons, is there any reason to invest in your group? Any profit I might make? Any connection with the community? Word has it you are becoming persona non grata among certain sectors..."

"We would be giving you stock in the company so that you would have a flow of the profits from it. The only sectors that we are not welcom in happen to be the ones that we have exposed as being false and evil or who are afraid of us doing so."

"Tell me, how are you going to make profit given your motives? And that group, or the group that does not want alteration of the established orders or vigilantes running around, is a substantial group."

"As we all know there is a great dislike of supernatural creatures on a wide spread level. There are always jobs to be done in clearing them out of areas and we plan on contracting ourselves out to the government and private parties to take care of the problems as specialists. We believe that there is a high profit potential in this business and that people will be accepting of it due to their general and natural fear of the unknown.

"Yes, but people with money prefer to hire in-house individuals or more... professional people. Not that you're not professional, but you're too, well, you know, not profit oriented. Further, for those in the know and thus who can pay, you're merely one in a sea. What sets you aside?"
By the by: Might want to have different people be offering different points.

The Saints: "We are a very divers group, yet organize, we have much potential to grow in numbers and technology."
Rocko: "These guys have God's blessing man... they kick ass."
Blade: "Many of us have a personal experience with the supernatural or a special link, there is nobody more suited for the job than us."
Edward: "Of course, many vampire night clubs are in the money pretty deep and that would be a profit potential in and of itself."
