She was a bio/necro/healer? I know for sure bio, 80% possitive necro, and a third I wasn't possitive about.

She'd be looking for work...but a special type...she'd want a job that'd give her more power. Maybe work for a mafia dude, or an underworld boss of sorts?

Would she be at all interested in working with paranormal detectives? And I don't think she has the skills, wherewithal or brutality quite yet for the Mafia or criminal underworld.

Thats the point, she doesn't have the skills, but its very much possible that if she found a source, they might see her as fresh meat, attempt abuse, and she can try to display some promise, and if all goes well, she might be able to be taught a thing or too, as an asset.

I'm not just talking about skills. I don't think she has sold her proverbial soul enough to survive, enjoy or withstand substantial involvement with the criminal underground. And I don't know how she'd survive the abuse.
