This is where the group will attempt to rescue the adventurers that have been taken to Khar-Tirim as well as deal with the horrible pain of that world.
So far, the group has learned:
*It is cylindrical, with days of 36 hours. Those days are generally dominated by night, with the nights being even more dangerous. The world's name is Khar-Tirim.
*Thirty percent of the world is shielded by the Inside-Out Sea. This area seals off the Meteor King, whose minions continue to go through the Inside-Out Sea. The Meteor King is a destructive force that demands fealty from those he views as inferiors, which seems to be everyone.
*The world seems to be controlled by Sadist Gods. These gods are usually dormant, but on occasion act, doing what they please.
*The world's geography is far from fixed: Instead, it shifts tumultuously.
*Trade is largely hampered.
*When outsiders come, it is the sign of the actions of the Sadist Gods. It also usually presages the Meteor King acquiring more power and launching an attack.
*An army of angels lies dormant, watching over the world. At times of great strife, these Spirits of Light appear. They are usually so exhausted afterwards that they must disappear to the Mobilum Sanctorum, a mobile celestial fortress of light and sound, to recuperate.
*Gods that are worshiped from other dimensions are here, including Apsu, Bahamut, Pelor, Thor (who here is the god of the dwarves), Laufey, Aeshma (indirectly worshiping Ahriman), and Brahma. They do not come, but clerics do on occasion demonstrate real power from them; however, most clerics are instead paladins drawing on martial prowess and local light.
*Even the nicest city in the world, the capital of Lum-Tirim, is a city that has always had very flawed kings. Concerned with maintaining the relative light of Lum-Tirim, the kings for centuries have not seemed to care that the light of Lum-Tirim's fabled Prism Tower is fading...
*The nearest city, Holo-Tirim, is a trade city that has had perpetual combat amongst warlords. While there is nominally a king, the king has held no real power in centuries. Those who have the title of Lord Guardian, known colloquially as Big Shogun, are those with the true power. The conflict is somewhat contained, so people can continue to trade, but the city is a cesspool of violence, murder, theft, and unethical business practices.
*Jylla the monk in his work went into the cosmology of the world. He is the one who found out about the Sadist Gods. He also emphasized that outsiders are not themselves evil or good, but are merely harbingers of the Sadist God's return.
*The historian, Holo-Min, took what best he could of the area around the village that they came to, the village of Burhen. However that data was of questionable accuracy even hundreds of years ago, and Burhen has only added information about the local environment since then.
