My group will go. What are we in need of? Healing? Offense? Telekinetic Twinkies? Mmm...twinkies...

Communal healing could be good, and it seems fleshcrafting it something you'd like everyone to have

Fleshcrafting it is then. Is there a more spiritual version of fleshgrafting? Like, taking spiritual 'body parts'? Somehow I think this would help with healing, like taking the spiritual part of someone's arm, grafting it to yourself, and your arm is influenced to like, regenerate or something.

Yes, soulcrafting/soulgrafting/soultwisting. A special class devoted to that could be a great Communal.

A Soul Crafter would be neat. are there places in the universe where there were rumours of those who used their souls in such a way?

Obviously various hells, necromancer groups, and similar. Rifts Earth may have a group or two working on soul-twisting, possibly former Tolkeen fighters.

Rifts Earth sounds like a good place to start then. Were these Tolkeen fighters of a group that was known at all?

Not in particular, but Tolkeen was a magical testing ground of unbelievable proportions. Soultwist was extensively known. [FN: 96].

Would it be hazardous to teleport to such a site?

Not really. But there isn't one site per se: The Tolkeen resistance fighters went underground after the destruction of Tolkeen (though in the CotG era there's been a lot of changes, which I'll mention if you'd like me to).

Essentially, the Coalition States through a long period of internal dissent replaced Prosek and Prosek's son and became a more legitimate and tolerant democracy. Meanwhile, a combination of CS withdrawals and those following in the memory of King Creed's last call for sanity and peace reproduced the city, though obviously still in a state of transition.

Hmm, Mace will start in a more obscure site, one less known to the public if possible. Better hiding place.

So, north, south, west or east of Tolkeen?

East, we'll scan the spot to make sure I don't pull what I did in the ship graveyard and go in with Brent, Laura, and Jerry.

A nice, agricultural village called Vosburg, with around 400 people (90% human) is to the East of Tolkeen (which, for reference, is situated in the area formerly known as Minnesota, near Wisconsin, Chi-Town in Illinois very near the old ruins of Chicago, North Dakota and South Dakota). Vosberg is very close to the former Dakotas. Seems a pleasant place to begin, and both data from the town and a quick scan/scrye show no danger.
