That occurs at will, so what else will Jesse do?

Jesse will take this opportunity to launch a death coil at his squire "Darkness is as much a part of the universe as the light, remove the shadows and you blind all"

The Swap Places doesn't disorient him in any way that would reduce his roll versus Death Coil. The damage is simply done. The Cyber-Knight does not mitigate the damage much, save or block it. This seems to be putting him on his last legs.
He attempts a healing meditation. His internal power seems to be waning. He manages to launch an attack that, while not connecting, flourishes and distracts. Jesse will get hit unless he parries, dodges or blocks, but he'll probably do so automatically.

Jesse will rely on his auto block and go for a triple overhead attack (grand slam) with his lightsaber.

Jesse blocks the blade away, but the flourish is impressive enough to give Robin the edge in the subsequent exchange. Nonetheless, Jesse has markedly superior skill, and thus they trade a flurry of parries, blocks and blows. Jesse burns Robin's hand in one close exchange.
Robin realizes he has to win quickly. He runs forward, making his blade into a long shaft somewhat like a nodachi, flipping over and trying to get behind Jesse so he can cut him open. Jesse sees that Robin has given him an immense opening.

The resistance to the push is obviously much lower as the squire is in mid-air. Jesse succeeds, hurling Robin into the air and damaging him, taking the wind out of Robin's sails. But Robin rolls with the grace of a Cyber-Knight and then changes his nodachi to a kind of ski before changing it back to throw him back up quickly.
Robin charges back in, though noticeably a bit more winded, and goes for a barrage of attacks [FN: 204, 198].
