Here is where I will log everything that the main party has done.
Completed and Attempted Adventures and Quests:
Ronin Bandit:
A Parivir, apparently never an honest Samurai, began robbing travelers. Joe, Fred and Mario neutralized this threat.
Mushroom Cave:
A cave nearby Menan where travelers went to pick mushrooms has had numerous disappearances. When Kevin, Fred and Mario went to check on the cave, they found a deathly pall had settled over the valley in which the cave was found, and spirits and skeletons had risen. They were forced to retreat.
On a second trip, the team managed to get into the cave. Defeating a powerful skeleton knight at the entrance, they discovered the true source of the corruption and death: Death. Dracula's minion. Death was, in standard form, quite close to killing the team, when Fred successfully drained power from Death and Joe in his terror discovered how to Banish Death.
Monster in the Red Rocks:
An unidentified monster in the Red Rocks, not native to the area, had been causing ecological harm. Fred and Mario identified them as a rancor.
Goblin Negotiations:
After capturing the Goblins when going to the Mushroom Cave, Dalen suggested returning the hostages in exchange for considerations between the people of Menan and the Goblins. As Dalen, Fred and Mario went to speak to the goblins, they found the old Washington grocery store, intact and unlooted, in the midst of territory Dalen recognized. As they explored the store, three rumbling noises forced them to hide. A walking, four-legged octopod steed, a creature with the body of a horse and a hundred metallic pyramid legs, and
Elder Kidnapped:
Qirral, City of Wonder is a place where tourists of power, privilege or wisdom have more rights and respect than natives of low standing.
Cello, Scourge of Brunswick:
After being swept away by Nirodha, Fred, Mario and Joe found a startling sight: A good portion of Brunswick Basin in Grass Valley, still mostly standing! It was abandoned except for one boy they found in the former Briar Patch, and unchanged except for a Starfleet crate in Safeway and structural damage to some buildings.
The cause of the abandonment, at least by people, of Brunswick was made clear after a night spent in Safeway with purloined blankets and furniture from Staples: An evil Namek named Cello, who had become enamored with the path of the Super Namek. Cello revealed that he had killed many of the townsfolk, even some of their defenders, and the rest had left to find shelter elsewhere. After a fierce battle, Cello was impaired by repeated phaser blasts and webbing and finally defeated. Trapped in a forcefield, he was temporarily imprisoned, but Fred, Mario and Joe could scarcely keep him there forever, monitoring him constantly.
Luckily, Moori, the Second Guru of the Nameks, telepathically contacted Fred, Mario and Joe. Rewarding them for their past heroism, he awakened their hidden powers and took Cello and the boy to his village.
Dwarven Barbarian:
When "finding" goods in Paulette's for the people of Menan, Fred and Mario encountered a dwarven barbarian, covered in tattoos and in a near-permanent rage. He attacked Mario and Fred viciously, and it was only by holding him in mid-air while Mario garroted him with webbing was the barbarian defeated.
Held in the same forcefield that held Cello, he was being taken to Menan for imprisonment when the group encountered Dukkha. One of Dukkha's greatest abilities was revealed: The power to amplify the rage of ally and enemy alike, turning battlefields into conflagrations and holocausts. The barbarian was finally brought down again by a barrage of magic from Black's Azerothian allies.
Finally, the Barbarian was turned in for a bounty of 200 gilden to Dalen.
Protect the Holy Citus! [Main Quest[/u]
After the events of the Goblin Negotiation, the team has realized that it must protect the Holy Citus from the Four Maledicts, else thousands more die and the world fall further into chaos. They have begun crossing the mountains, but it is a long journey to the Citus, days away at the best...
Dracula's Umpteenth Resurrection! [Main Quest][/u]
After Banishing Death at the Mushroom Cave, Joe, Jeff, Mario, Cory, Fred, Black and Ray discovered that someone besides Dracula is controlling Death, and is seeking to revive Dracula.
Events and Rumors:
The Green Meteor:
While Picard and Worf mentioned a green light erupting into their world just as with the party members, the natives of this world (so far unnamed) saw a green meteor passing through the sky.
The Morgothian-Azerothian Orc Wars:
Apparently, a contingent of Morgothian [Lord of the Rings] orcs have begun battle with Azerothian [World of Warcraft] orcs. Back and forth brutal fighting has occurred over dozens of miles. The Azerothians and Morgothians battle over land to the west-by-southwest of Menan.
Black's efforts uncovered the truth of the Morgothians hidden backer: Dukkha Cholere, one of the Four Maledicts! When Dukkha was "beaten" (read: bruised) by Black, Fred, Mario and Cassidy, his brothers came to take him away. Black and the Azerothians then leapt into a routing mode, utterly devastating the Morgothians.
The New Faith:
A new faith has begun spreading like wildfire, primarily in the lands to the East.
All Hail, the New Imperator!
In the ancient Korlodess Dynasty to the East, there has apparently been a new Emperor appointed. With feet like burning brass, eyes like onyx, and skin like the night, he has apparently shaken up what used to be an Empire at its peaceful prime.
Kidnapped? By Orcs?
Morgothian orcs are not known for their preference for capture. When they must capture an enemy, they do it grudgingly, and it is all they can do to avoid eating their foe. Yet they went out of their way to ambush Joe and Mario, and Dalen's best guess is that they wanted to kidnap them. Why?
Talent: Curse in Disguise?
When Fred and Mario trained under Picard and Worf, they picked up numerous elements of Starfleet training within a few days of work. This is apparently virtually unprecedented, and caused Picard and Worf some concern...
Contacts, Friends and Acquaintances:
Dalen:
A Ranger in both senses of the word (hero for hire and wilderness explorer), Dalen is the contact in Menan for the team's quests. Dalen knows the area like the back of his hand and works hard to keep Menan running. He seems to have a problem with amassing power.
"Galen Picard" and "Worf Kahless":
Actually Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Lieutenant Worf,
Unnamed Tauren Shaman and Druid:
So far, Mario has encountered an unnamed Tauren Shaman in the Red Rocks and a Druid in a spirit quest as he lay unconscious.
Cynthia:
Menan's local White Mage, Cynthia is easily recognizable due to the way that she has not only trimmed her robes to not get in the way of being a field hand but wears thick jean overalls under her robes. She is the healer of Menan.
Moori and the Nameks:
Moori, the Guru of the Nameks, came to take Cello away from Brunswick. He has since become a solid ally of the team, awakening the potentials of newcomers so that they may survive in this world.
Locations:
Menan:
A small farming town in the mountains near where everyone appeared.
Menan has become far more prosperous thanks to the party. Food, guns, generators and supplies will provide the town with generations of wealth it did not have before.
The Holy Citus:
A far-away place, the Citus is supposedly where White Mages are trained and where the group can find more detailed answers.
Snow City of Qirral:
Further in the mountains to the east of Menan, the Snow City is a place of wonder, called the City of Wonder (unsurprisingly).
Goblin Territory:
To the north-west of Menan, a clan of mischievous and formidable goblins is sandwiched between human and orcish territory.
The Red Rocks of the Rancor:
To the south-east of Menan, a rock field where a Rancor was slain by Mario, Fred, Picard and Worf stays still.
Field of the Ancients:
A debris field southwest of the Red Rocks, the Field of the Ancients is filled with detritus from generations of dumpers: Wood, rusted iron, primitive glass... While the Field is an anthropologists' or archaeologists' dream, the few treasures most other people care about have drawn more unsavory characters: Raiders and bandits.
