Fred and Mario launched an assault on Aizen's mines! Taking the tack that logistics matter in wars, they decided to attack the lifeline of Aizen's production. Riding a giant Cero from the team's Hollow cannon, they and Tessai captured a Privaron Espada, a number of Hollow and Gillian, and took some of Aizen's material.

The war is over!
Though it is difficult to ascertain exactly how, Las Noches sent a request for peace. They offered that Las Noches would become a safe haven for any Hollow that sought to live in peace, free from Shinigami attacks.

It might behoove the team to ask how and why, however.

That's not "the team", that's you OOCly. OOCly, I hope, you know. ICly, there is little indication aside from Kurama looking up and saying, "It's over..."

"Wait, what? How did that happen? Did Fred's plan with that machine work or what?"

Fred smiles. The smile is an arrogant one, the slightest smirk, a smirk that indicates that part of his soul may consider itself superior to the unwashed masses. It is a confident, unaffected smile, that of a man who somehow knows that he has already won before even playing the game. "The cannon worked, in a fashion. It raised the cost to Aizen so that Fred could take advantage of his desire to neutralize this new foe."
Upon closer observation, Cassidy sees two yellow orbs as earrings adorning Fred's ear. There is no visible chain, but the orbs are connected to rings, a very odd earring design.

Cassidy takes a step back. And then another. "You still with us buddy?"
In a yellow box above his head, Referring to himself in the third person is a new one.

Fred says, "What do you mean? Ah, the third person bit. I apologize. You see, I am no longer ONLY Fred nor am I ONLY Aizen. I am both. To refer to the past actions of the agents Fred and Aizen as having been performed by myself would be deceptive. Fred acted in opposition to Aizen, yet I can clearly not do so, being both Fred and Aizen making a new, fused persona and identity. So previous actions that require talking about the two in opposition will require me speaking about my array of past actions in the third person, to differentiate. Besides, 'David Cross has to do what's best for David Cross', and 'Rickey Henderson is going to tape his bat up higher to be the best Rickey Henderson that Rickey Henderson can be.'"

Wait, so now you're two people in one body? Does this mean you command the same powers you always did as either Fred or Aizen? and by that I of course am refereeing to your mind-fuck of a shikai.

Yes. Fred is now the perfect spiritual being and has all of Aizen's powers, all kido, etc.
But Kevin might want to ASK Fred.

I meant to put quotes and an "I'll say" on that. My bad.

Fred smiles beneficently. "Using the Potara Earrings, I managed to fuse with Aizen. Mario made a great sacrifice, summoning a Death God from the shadows, holding Aizen in place. I then clamped on the Potara. We were combined as one. It took some... time, and some discussion, but we managed to work out shared goals and objectives. This act was not taken lightly, but it ended the war between Soul Society and the Hollow, and allowed Aizen's dream of the Perfect Spiritual Being, the fusion of Hollow and Shinigami, to be achieved."
