Cassidy has decided to create a crisis hotline. Burglary, suicide attempt, drug use, whatever needs to be done, he'll show up and handle it. But he has to build the reputation of his line first!

I think Cassidy will start out trying to serve a smaller area with the goals of expanding his workforce to eventually serve the planet. I think a solid advertisement with an easy to call number. Something like "Help is just one away. Dial 1-2-3 and a quick, Superhuman response to your situation is guaranteed." Also, if the hotline is successful, than I want to integrate it into 911. Humm.. Is there a way we can jack into the 911 center to hear those phone calls as they come in? That way I can beat em there, solve the situation, and leave my card. Get kinda like a grass roots start by word of mouth.

Remember that if you advertise online, with our money you can get a pretty nice set of ads going on. Across billions of people online, you could get a few thousand people interested across the world.
We could hack into 9/11 (since you would find it hard pressed to do it yourself), but the problem with that, as L points out, is aside from being illegal, it undermines public confidence in emergency response systems, violates confidentiality (who says that random people WANT some Shinigami teleporting into their bedrooms? what legal restrictions do you have?) AND it means that you make some police officers, firepeople or emergency medical techs make a drive for nothing.

Very valid point. I think the simplest way is going to be via online advertisement. Hopefully we will get a few hits and then things can grow from there.

All right. Cassidy advertises online. Fred invests $1 million into the project for advertising, legal fees, just general coffers. The hotline has been set up to allow text messages [we get a nice little bonus from phone companies for that for directing them text message fees], calls, local radio broadcasts, linked into the police dragnet, e-mails, an online form, and drop-ins.
Almost immediately, Cassidy gets a text message. It reads:
byfrnd outside trying brk n pls hlp hdng n closet
The phone's GPS gives a precise location.

Ok, lets do a cloaked jump to the room where she is hiding. Plan is to take the girl to a safe location first, like her mom's or our base, then come back and deal with the boyfriend.
If all goes well I will only have to talk to the guy, but I will be relying on info from the girl.
Also, just because I am a suspicious little bastard, I am going to set up the Mass Relay for a quick escape if it is an ambush.

Cassidy teleports in to the room. You are in a small closet, clothes packed to the back and shelves on both sides filled with shoes, jewelry and other sundries. The girl in question is a petite young blond thing, probably 5'3, B cup, wearing jeans and a torn shirt. She doesn't look like she's sustained too much damage, though. She shrieks when you appear. "Ah!" When she calms down a little, she says, "Your ad wasn't lying, was it?" She apparently is referring to the teleportation.
Suddenly, her closet door has a fist through it. Instantly afterwards, the door turns into shrapnel and splinters, falling apart.

Cassidy is going to quickly grab the girl saying, "Ok, hold on tight. I am getting you out of here." He is then going to port with the girl to across the street from her house/apartment.
"Are you alright Miss?"

As Cassidy turns around to grab the girl, he feels a massive hand gripping his shoulder. This is going to be a problem.

"Ok, change of plans." Cassidy will brace his feet against the closet wall and push off out against the 'boyfriend'. Cassidy is really going to try and see exactly what he is dealing with so he can judge the kind of power he should be using. The Eye Of Eylor and Cassidy's psychic powers will help him in this endeavor.

The man grabs onto Cassidy's shoulder hard, but the Elom barrier causes his grip to be unsure. The Absurr Life Node gives Cassidy a burst of speed. Combined with the beginning of the TW-Crazy's "fight time" effect, Cassidy's perceptions slow down. He feels like everything around him (the fearful sobbing of the girlfriend and the motions of the boyfriend) have become as flies in molasses. The sudden burst of speed surprises the man, and Cassidy's football and wrestling experience lets him throw the boyfriend off his feet and onto his ground. Spinning around, Cassidy's Eye of Eylor identifies that the boyfriend is TALL, 6'10 easily, and massively muscled. He seems to be a Kin that has superhuman endurance and strength, and not much else. Being MUCH faster than his opponent, Cassidy can continue to act.

Cassidy is going to start taunting the Kin, using Distracting Banter to keep his attention focused on Cassidy, and away from his girlfriend. "You know, you remind me of your mother: short, fat, likes to cook me breakfast the next morning."
Forming the Soul Orb into Raiden's Electric Staff, Cassidy is going to take advantage of the fact that the Boyfriend is on the ground and go after his limbs. Try to pull of a Hamstring in order to further reduce his movement. Plus, the electrical output from the staff will make his muscles harder to control.
If the Hamstring isn't possible, than Cassidy will hit him with Electrokinesis on his arms.
If he has any more turn, Cassidy will Mind Bolt him.

OOG: Wow. Wow, you are such a douche. I love it . Cassidy shocks the man with a billion volts of electricity. A billion volts is a lot. He goes down and is stunned, brutally and bitterly. What next?

Cassidy points his finger at the stunned man on the ground. "Geki!"
As the red paralyzing light engulfs the boyfriend, Cassidy will walk over to the girl. "Don't worry about him, he will be fine. Right now he is under temporary paralysis. I think our next step should be to turn him into the authorities. Also, is there a place you would like to visit?"

Cassidy busily flogs the deceased horse and paralyzes the paralyzed and profoundly unconscious man. For much, much longer.
She says, "...Wow, no one's ever taken down John before... Especially not that fast... But I don't really want to press charges, he just gets this way..."

Cassidy puts his hand on his chin thoughtfully. "How long has he been like this? Because I can help. Can I have your permission to show you something in your past? You see, I have the ability to travel in dreams as well as the waking world. I want to show you something."
Cassidy wants to take this girl into her own dreams, back to before she was in this relationship. Back before the abuse. Show her how happy she was. Show her that she could indeed live without this abusive man.

Cassidy knows that she may have realized that element, but she doesn't necessarily want him to go to jail. It's a different issue.

How equipped is our "jail" in terms of psychology? Maybe we can help this guy out.

She says, "Okay, as long as you promise he won't be in jail I'm okay with that. It's not his fault, he gets so angry... I know I can't be around him, but I don't think he deserves to be in prison."

"I promise he wont be in jail. We will get him the help he needs. So, do you think the Hotline has what it takes to help the world?"
Do you think we should get her signature on some sort of written release saying she wont sue, or are we covered legally?

She says, "I... I might have died if you hadn't come. Is there any fee?"
Well, she CAN'T sue, she has no claim, you did no harm to her or her house and whatever you do to her ex-boyfriend is something she has no legal stake in.
