Commoner's Quest is currently the simulation of what might happen to simple village folk who are thrust into a very complicated situation.
Last I remember, things were looking rather dire for our trio. Haggard (Mario) had just unleashed something from his arm as he passed into unconsciousness. Whatever it was, it wasted the Flayed Ones and shriveled up his arm.
Hash-Heesh (Ray) had about 1 spell left in him and was running very very low on health. I believe he had just saved a family and was running back to rescue Haggard. Fleebisky, Hash-Heesh's trusty donkey (and only functional tank it would seem) is currently running around the huge melee outside, stomping the life out of Flayed Ones whenever the opportunity arises.
Melissa (NPC) had just ripped into the flesh on her arm and pulled out a piece of jagged metal, which she then used to stab Dom in the shoulder, forcing his retreat.
The huge battle has taken a toll on both sides, however thanks to the intervention of our unlikely and unlucky heroes, the tides are turning for the villagers. There are currently 29 Villagers left, while the Flayed Ones only number at 16. However, even outnumbering their foe nearly 2 to 1, the battle is far from over. The Flayed Ones are horrifyingly brutal and can suffer pain and punishment mere mortals cant imagine, all while craving more.
So, is my memory working correctly? Any additional input before we continue?

I believe that Hash-Heeshs student whose name I forget was with him and they had gotten back to the building where I defended that family. I was at 0 hit points and as you nioted ray was not in much better condition. Melissa had run off in a rage or something and Ray and I were trying to figure out what to do either to chase after her or rest and possibly doom her to the flayed ones.
I am looking for my sheet now but I think you might have it.

Peckna was her name. That's right about you being the one defending the family. I knew there was someone defending some family.
Melissa had just taken off running in a direction that was randomly determined.
As for your Sheet: I'll look and see if I have it, but I am pretty sure that I don't. However, I never throw away character sheets, so if I have it, I know where it is.

Last had happened 2 small creatures were making off with the donkey. Haggard and Hash-heesh had resolved to go after them. Peckna did not want to go nor did she want Hash-heesh to either, however William the father of the family they saved wanted them to go with the party since they were vulnerable otherwise.
Valus was talking with the old lady at the campsite outside of town after a series of chilling visions. She was cooking horse and Valus had asked to stay at her camp for the time being, she had agreed.

I like how the horse became deer, and Valus became Walrus

Well, you know I AM the Valrus.
So, Valus was cooking what little food he had left and preparing to go to sleep.

And "Haggard" is a great name? An adjective that basically means you look like crap?

I know, so am I . I just liked Valus, though Valrus actually sounds sort of cool too.

Valus sleeps uncomfortably on the ground next to the fire. Flashes of the terrifying visions haunt his dreamland. Periodically he is awakened with a start by the snoring of the old woman sleeping on the opposite side of the small camp.
After one such awakening, Valus finds himself covered in a cold sweat. Just as he is starting to close his eyes again, there is a definitive sound of snapping twigs coming from the forest. It is getting closer.

Valus reaches for his cleavers and waits, bated breath held, trying to get some cover behind a nearby tree without making a sound.
