And then, there's the fact that we are a bona fide detective / hero agency, Luke Cage and Angel style. Anyone ready to do some missions?

Sure. I'll give it a shot at an indescribable time in the storyline so as to not obscure actions I've already been undertaking.
Anything good? Dames that need to be told to chill the hell out in a hard boiled manner? Or cocky young hot-shots in over their heads needing help and advice?
Or...you know. Stuff?

Actually, 1920s-era-inspired adventurers and parapsychologists from the Lazlo Society!
A man walks in. He wears a standard safari outfit and has a bristling moustache. "Well, I must admit your reputation did not quite emphasize that you all were children! No matter, many of the best and brightest of the Lazlo Society are chaps even younger than yourselves! I am Lord Hartford Tingshire, a key contributor to the Lazlo Society!" His accent is upper-class English. "Do you chaps know of us?"
OOG: Fred and Mario do.

"You are known" Black will answer "and how may we help you?"

He pulls out some files. "I must apologize in advance for the lack of good information. As a parapsychologist, you become used to a rather lower level of proof and a much higher level of supposition and speculation than in the conventional sciences. It is rather like the political science department!" He guffaws at that. Fred rolls his eyes.
When he opens the files, immediately Black sees strangled, tortured women. They lie either face down or face up, throat slit, most indicating a left-to-right orientation. "These are from Scotland Yard and our own investigators. The modus operandi is virtually identical, sufficiently so for me to declare that the same killer must be at work, to the killings attributed to 'Jack the Ripper'."

"Heheheheheh, parapolitical satire" Black chuckles in kind. Though his previous smile is quickly replaced with a grave expression.
"Do you suspect that the murderer might be a kin?" Black asks, taking a serious look at one photo in particular.

"At this point, young chaplain, I am afraid we do not know what this force is. However, when police came to apprehend him, they routinely report going into some manner of fugue state. They report vivid dreams where they chase a superhuman attacker, but the area has become like Victorian England, with gas-lit lamps replacing electric lamps and their hats and sidearms changing to match the era."
