Joe arrives at the mansion. He has been instructed to enter from the rear, through a ladder, instead of through the front door.

From what Joe understands, it's not the Archmage's wrath but rather the wrath of the house, which was haunted by his nightmares when he was possessed by the dream demon Fred, Feickert and Cory defeated.
Entering in from the rear ladder, Joe sees the Archmage and his daughter working on business. The daughter is an attractive woman apparently in her 30s, with a bit of a matronly appearance. The archmage wears a deep purple robe with yellow crescents, a long beard, boxy glasses and a standard wizard's hat. He is nothing if not respectful of convention and tradition. He smiles and says, "Ah, yes, one of my young... friends!" He seems perpetually in a daze. "We have some Hot Pockets if you'd like, or some of those microwaveable burritos..."

"Hot pockets, how did you know? I love hot pockets...I'd be honored and pleased!" Joseph says with a truthful smile.
"Afterward though, I would like to hear of what you wanted to tell us about"

"Well, since you boys have been coming by, I have been... re-familiarizing myself with recent events. I've watched some Grey's Anatomy, but I must admit I don't find it compelling. I have caught up on Lost - I've communed with Avatars of Cthulhu and yet I still find their plot confusing." He grabs some hot pockets and then turns around. The smell of saltpeter fills the air, and then he hands flawlessly cooked Hot Pockets back. Miraculous! Not frozen solid or boiling lava hot in the middle!
He then says, "Recently, we've had some reports of ghosts coming from an area in Guatemala, haunting two hospitals: Saint Matthew's and Saint Anthony's of Padua. They're contradictory enough not to warrant immediate and decisive action but consistent enough to signify danger. We'd just like you to check it out."
